2nd week of growth looks good. Replanted the plant from the small pot, will spray the plant to keep the humidity up. My 2nd rare dank ness grow expecting the same quality of strain.
Plants took well to the larger pots. Have them under a 600W mehzi in flower mode. Temp outside still very cold using the heat off the lamp to maintain grow and no internal fans.
Plant is growing well, in 2 weeks will be looking for some clones. I will be fitting my new mars hydro Tsw 3000 on Wednesday so really looking forwards to the change in the plants.
Moved all the plants over to my new light a mars hydro tsw 3000. And I think they are really liking it, have seen a lot of new growth for all the plants. In 2 more weeks will be looking to make some clones off them then regrow then bloom. So far so good.
1st full week with the new light and the girls really like it. Having trouble just understanding the best distance so I have kept it further away to ensure I don’t cook anything. I can now see 2 small stalks I can clone off will start cloning them tomorrow. This plant really stretched this week a true Sativa for sure.
Strong week the plants love the new light. Having a little trouble keeping the extraction correct still want to keep the humidity higher. Did cut off some clones last week nothing has taken to root yet. Next week will start the switch to flower. She is seriously stretching.
Transitioned into flower this week plant is looking really good. Colour is good , fullness is good and really stretching too high. So far so good will feed the same for the next week. Need to watch the height though.
Plant stretching crazy over 10 inches in one week will have to find a way to heighten the light. Flowering beautifully though the plant is of real quality as is all the rare dank ness strains. Will increase the blooming formula from tomorrow.
The dark ghost is my only remaining rare dank ness plant after my star ox turned out to be a male. She has stretched to 50 inches and I think that’s the limit I have basically run out of room but I can still get I think enough light to her. Flowering nicely.
So at last this week I believe my plant has finally stopped stretching. I would’ve one for everybody who tries to grow a sativa to watch for the overstretch I have no way of tying my light any higher so I will resort to rotating the plants inside the tent in order to not over cook the buds. The birds are forming Nicely and I am expecting a reasonable yield let’s see how this plant ends up. The plant is still looking really healthy with no signs of any disease or any degradation
She has exploded this week looking very healthy. Still rotating her a 1/4 turn per day to make sure she is getting light but not getting roasted. I upped the extractor to bring the humidity to less than 50. Added the powder kool bloom today expecting some heavy swelling over the next 2 weeks.
So she is swelling really well and looks Nearly ready the buds are starting to swell so much they are starting to lean over I examined the plants for the trichromes And the majority of them are cloudy I will leave her for one more week then flush expecting these plants to be harvested in two weeks beautiful plants very please with the grow.
Plants are swelling nicely and she has 70% cloudy trichrome, I will make a decision on Thursday whether to wait another week or flush for a harvest the following bank holiday Monday. The weight of the buds are so heavy the plant is leaning over. Think this will be a great quality plant for sure.
Last week before flush and cut she’s looking great and getting so heavy she is splitting the stalk. Looking forwards to the harvest. Next week I will post the results.
The plant really stretched a lot more than I expected. But the bud quality and plant quality is the best as is all rare dankness strains. They really do set the target for others to follow.
So compared to other strains I have grown I did find this strain particularly easy in the fact that the quality of the leaves are the quality of the grow was exceptional I saw no signs of any disease no signs of any over or under watering the only difficult part with the strain was understanding when to harvest it really was trying my patience near the end in the end I decided on a visual look As opposed To use Just the thrichromes methods, as with all sativa‘s I find sometimes they do take much longer to cure but if you are patient with the burping of the stash that I think you will be rewarded with a quality smoke I did manage to clone three plants but they are becoming really difficult to get some roots let’s hope I can get some more plants
