2/23 Week 2! Intro: To start off the plant is looking great and doing a lot better than I initially expected it to due to the transplant shock causing it a lot of stress. Training: Also I initially began LST but have decided to release it and start again in another week as to let the plant fully recover from the previously stated stress. Hydration/Nutrients: -As for the the water I have been alternating using pure water and my concoction of nutrients water. The concoction measures at a 6.2 ph going into the soil and after it runs through the soil measure at a ph of 5.0-5.2. -As for the nutrients I added a layer of just 707 live soil above my original soil mixture as the previous surface of the soil was having trouble retaining water. This along with some gentle compacting has seemed to fix the situation. Observations: -The stem is beginning to turn a nice green color after being somewhat completely purple upon receiving the clone. -The roots have finally begun to escape its Rockwell cube and dig into the soil, in turn, this has caused the cube to break up nicely within the soil. -I have begun doing a 15/9 daylight cycle. I have the lights running over nighttime and the lights off during daylight for 9 hours which in turn helps keep a steady temperature within the grow room. -This plant is growing much wider than it is growing taller. It’s has gone from 6” when i got it to ~6.8” tall now. 2/28 Update: -Food/Water Cycling: I will only be using nute water every other watering I do. Will be using fresh water in the morning and nute water before night as to let the plant focus on the roots and taking in the nutes but also to help with not overfeeding. Light adjustments: I have moved the light from 10” to 14” away from the plant. This plant seems to grow very horizontally and parts were getting too close to the light. A good sign it’s almost time to begin LST. Observations: -There are currently 12+ nodes. -Stem has recovered quite nicely since the transplant.

👋 Hi friends! I originally wanted to start with multiple clones but ended up only being able to get a single clone last minute. Now I have A LOT of unused space. What seeds/company would you recommend buying? I’m looking for quick/large yields, indica dom, and wallet friendly

Seedsman.com is your best bet. They carry strains from many breeders, as well as their own strains. They have great customer service, stealth shipping if necessary, and speedy shipping . If you are in the US, they have a new distribution center and they ship from the UK to their distro center and then ship to you directly. Reduces the shipment problems and after 4 orders from them, I am more than pleased. They also include freebies with every order. In addition, their site layout and strain information is actually better than some of the breeder pages. The product info and reviews are very helpful. Now to answer about specific breeders...if you want big fat juicy buds, look no further than Barney's Farm. Everything I have grown from them has been a huge producer. Other breeders have some great strains, but you can see in my diaries that BF strains outshine the rest in my experience. Good luck!

Hey, buddy. Don't worry, the young leaves are lighter in colour than the fully formed leaves. Your plant looks very healthy to me.

Hi @YoungSmoke normally the femenized plants start to flower in 6-9 weeks depending on the growth of each one. your plant needs to stretch a little bit better, the light goes up more and it will stretch more in search of the light, I would wait 2 to 3 weeks to put it in bloom. 10 days before you start flowering, start giving flowering feeds in a dose slightly below the minimum indicated and gradually increasing the feeds. good luck in flowering mate 🍀🙏👍

Careful, if you are really watering half a gallon each day, you can kill your young plant. At two weeks, root should have started already. I would let the soil dry out a bit. And 10 C temperature? 3 inches light distance?

@Med_in_Tropic, oh wow so as a gardener of other plants aswell you’d say that cannabis is more advanced? And yea bro just taking it one day at a time. In all honesty I’m surprised I even kept it alive this long hahaha

@YoungSmoke, flush once only when you over feed. Too much water is bad for most ganja strain. Then toward the end, this is the final week, can flush again. Take it One day at a time bro. And I had gardening experience. Did more harm than good when it come to growing ganja. There are things that I need to unlearn. So you are good. Growing ganja is like growing five different plants. Seedling is behaving like what you are seeing now. Vegging is the second part where there I are trimmings and bending. Early flower, light and nute changes. Late flower comes problem solving. Finally the harvesting and curing. Seemed a lot now but after a couple of harvests, you’ll do all these without thinking.

@Med_in_Tropic, oh that’s actually going to be such a helpful feature for me. I’m extremely novice when it comes to gardening in general. Also how often would you say to flush it, i was planning to flush it like once a week, is that not enough?

Looking great. I would go real easy with the nutes at her tender age. If you get root burn when young can stunt her whole life cycle. Nute burn is a hell of lot harder to correct then nute deficiency’s. Good luck.

@@JP148, sounds good. I appreciate the help. 🙂

@YoungSmoke, Smoke nute burn will begin with yellowing leaf tips. Then they will turn brown and brittle. If bad cas it will spread up the leaf. But a lot of the damage can be below grow. Root burn can wreck root system. Then that’s a real problem. Curling leafs is another sign of too much nitrogen.I always go less then I think they can handle. Less is more

@@JP148, thanks bro I’ll have to keep an eye on that. What are signs of nute burn to look out for?

Plants looked fine bud. If you could not get them to flower then you obviously had a light/timer malfunction and/or a light leak so severe that it never went to sleep officially. Which it would never transition. The light you had was doing good enough to grow these just fine in veg. At that point it's all about night time hours to make her flip. It takes 3+ weeks for some cultivars to start showing signs of flowers. Hopefully you waited long enough. Check into all of this I mentioned. A tiny amount of light getting in is enough to throw the plant off entirely. Good luck🤞
