Another week has elapsed and these girls are seeing in 2018 looking big and healthy. Rear left pineapple grows so rapidly, and I've spent 4 hours this last week getting in and cleaning up her lower branches and growths. Her leaves quickly crowd out other branches and it takes a bit of maintenance every day. When I strip off leaves and stems the humidity drops from 70%+ down to 50%, really showing the impact on airflow this overcrowding can create. My goal is to achieve a bit more vertical growth before I begin flowering, but I can't imagine that this change is over two weeks away. These girls have been vegging for about two months now. Catch you all next week and hope everyone's garden grows well in the mean time! Happy new year ๐ Who knows what crazy strains this year holds in store for us all
@Zannabis7, Thanks, this pineapple's genetics are consistently the most sparkling i've grown. If you like the frost now, just wait til you see it soon ๐
@BudKingsGrow, Thanks for saying so man! Just popped over and had a look at your garden, you run a tight ship, and your comprehensive diary updates are a great resource. I hope we both see beautiful bountiful buds ๐
What a killer looking SCROG. Nicely done. I am attempting my first SCROG with some autoflowers. Would certainly welcome any advise. Thanks in advance - Zannabis7
@Book_of_Thoth, Yeah, should be a challenge with autos, but I am looking forward to some experimentation. Thanks for the kinds words on the "amazing start!"
@Zannabis7 Thanks for saying so! With autoflowers, you aren't going to want to trim off growths seeing as you have a finite amount of time to veg with, so i'd see what you can achieve through tying down taller stems to keep an even canopy. Judging by your setup, you're off to an amazing start!
Looking top notch Thoth. Then again I'd expect nothing less from you. Another round of beautiful top tier training. Great work buddy. I can't wait to see how they develop. Cheers!
@SybDarret, Thanks, in my opinion if you're working with a small space or a small amount of plants (a large garden would be very time consuming) it's really worthwhile. But you're right, I won't count my chickens before they've hatched!
@Tazard, Thanks for saying so! My screen is made of aluminum, and the pieces came from an assemble-able clothes rack, I cut down and combined two pieces to match the footprint of my tent ๐
