Another week of growth and all is well. Here is a little run down of what's been happening in the tent
-created a larger grid that covers my whole tent footprint for training the girls into
-started weaving them into the grid a little more than they were, this has entailed some defoliation every other day, with high stress training implemented to make stems grow in the desired directions before they fit in just right. I trim some larger old fan leaves, but also new ones still growing in which are going to cover other branches. This is probably more necessary than if they were growing following their natural tendencies as the result of all my bending and training is leaves end up where they shouldn't.
The AK48's 5 stem structure is still developing, and as I watch her grow I am getting a better idea of where all her branches could end up to fill the space optimally.
@PigBearMan, That's what I like to hear! I'm so excited to see how he buds develop, at this stage it's such a mystery. I'll take a look online at the Nirvana pics 😊
@Book_of_Thoth, I believe yours is the only AK-48 I've seen, and looks great! Gives me lots to look at and look forward to. Happy Growing, I'll be following along 👍
@TheMachinist Thank you! Would be great to see your diary of it, it looks like mine is the only one so far of this strain on here. Hopefully mine gives you something to look forward to 😊
@Book_of_Thoth,it definitely will now the light penetrating the Maine stem it will encourage growth it’s really nice training you have done on her I won’t lie she’s goner benefits a lot not to say you don’t know what your doing picture one you see the big dark fan leaf that bottom left branch inner fan leaf remove if it covering middle growth so it all grows out even I’m not shore if it’s the pic making it look like it covering thoe lol
@@Tryhard, Thanks! Hopefully it helps those smaller branches in her middle develop too. It's really satisfying to train a plant then see it adjust and adapt
