JS100I've been gone for the last couple weeks - glad to see the progress! Starting a mild nutrient application. Will do a slurry test to determine soil PH later in the week.

Staying squat but filling out nicely. Soil pH tested and came in at 6.4 - will continue with nutrients in the low 6's.

Topped the plant yesterday. Still short but continues to widen. Have not identified any pre-flowers yet - fingers crossed it is a girl.

Appears to be adjusting just fine the the topping.
Still haven’t seen any pre-flowers. Switching to 12/12 today and will see shortly what I have.

I tried to do some LST training and also a bit of lower defoliation. I am a little nervous I may have done too much too late. She does appear to be recovering already (1 day) however. Hopeful I didn't cause too much undue stress this first week of flowering.

She seems to be recovering well from my aggressive defoliation and LST. I plan to start any training and defoliation a bit earlier and more gently however she appears fine so far.

She is developing nicely. It doesn’t appear the late training and defoliation was detrimental.

@JS100, The advantages of outdoor are that mother nature does the main work for us! You just need to take care to plant plants where they did not grow ) At least a few bushes on the street every summer should grow! This year I plan to make commercial guerrilla plantations, several times larger than those in my diaries. If you're interested, you can keep an eye on the Russian grass )
