Welcome to our first attempt at CBD. These ladies didn’t germinate like their cousins so they are a few days behind. Still, they are breaking through the soil so that’s a win.
Viente:Uno CBD tests up to 20% CBD with THC ranging from 0.3-0.8%, which makes it invaluable as a muscle relaxant, and Anti Inflammatory with no psychoactive effects.
The aromas and tastes of Viente:Uno CBD can vary; but are typically described as floral, or herbal with lemon, mint, or pine notes.
To start my seeds, I prefer to use the miracle grow seed starter mix (purists will cringe) but my success rate with it is 100%. Because of the nutrients already present, will defer additional supplements until week 2.
Well......wow, and not in the good way. So far the CBD have been anemic at best. Compared to their cousins, they look downright sickly. I guess I have to really tighten up on the watering, they obviously like a drier soil. So going opposite for them. Not even thinking of topping right now, probably kill em 🤔
My early thinking is that they like it cold and dry and the entire grow would have to be CBD. Kinda wish I had have known before as those little fuckers are not cheap.
For comparison sake, I’ve included a group photo so you can see what I’m saying...keeping in mind that the CBD are only 3 days behind their cousins (everyone else germinated, but not these 2. They were planted as seeds same day as the sprouts because they didn’t germinate)
Well, I was over watering these girls. Dried them out and a little controlled feeding, you can se the results.
Dry and high.....that’s how these girls roll. Fingers crossed, they survived topping and are coming back
pics from day 39.
Week 7 and finally bouncing back. Picked up a moisture meter and figured that at 7 inches from the top, a reading of 2 signals time to water. These ladies like it dry.
New pics from day 47. All nice and trimmed. Cmon little doggies!!
Week 8. Well, I haven’t killed em....yet. Seriously though, it was touch and go with watering but these girls are doing good. Just trimmed up #1 and watered so should be good in a day.
Getting ready for the switch.
These are strange plants. #1 is gangly and has heavy buds...#2 is bushier but has massive buds also. Looking good!
Update: after setting up the clones, my friend felt the need to trim up the girls so let her 😀
If you’re gonna grow this strain, be prepared to be completely turned around. These girls need a dry and acidic environment. Once you figure out how they like things, get ready for an experience. Took to topping really well, stretched like crazy and at the end, the colas were big. Overall, I really enjoyed growing this strain.
Well, between the two girls, I pulled over a quarter pound of flower. The buds were nice, fairly dense and sticky icky sweet. It smoked nicely, tasted awesome, reminded me of walking into a head shop and that first inhale of incense and sandalwood. This sentiment was echoed by my trusty tasting team.
No physical stone but I felt clear headed, no anxiety and extremely sociable. Pretty much exactly what I needed.
Definitely looking forward to the next harvest.
Hi mate 🙂
If you are interested in seeds with high cbd I can only recommend the CBD crew ..
Shanti's Mango Haze is something incredible and their CBD THERAPY has an extremely low THC content.
Maybe you already knew them
They do seeds seriously😎💪
I hope I have been useful
Nice garden anyway
Good cultivation and enjoy 😉✌️
@CBDAutoGrower, Good luck with these. I use neutral growing medium, but my water ph was between 5.5 to 6. Closer to 5.5. And minimal water...I cloned this plant and it reacted exactly the same. I love the end product, but not the process with this one.
