All going well so far. Trying to defoliate, but don't really know what I'm doings not going too hard, just removing if they seem to overlap or looking mangey. Really enjoying this grow and all the problems that I haven't had this time! Have just had a look at the trichomes and it seems that they're already at a good level of cloudy/clear. I think another week or so to let the skinny one fatten a bit and let some amber ones develop, then they'll be ready for harvest I think, seems a bit early to me?

Starting to notice the leaves of both plants going a bit yellow. Im guessing this is due to their lack of nutrients? Any suggestions or tips for this stage of the grow (minus nutes).

Yep, dead on and no worry at this point. At this point its just ripening anyway unless its an odd bird. Not the time to dump nuets on it.

So we're at day 70 and im trying to get as close of a look as I can get to their trichomes. Excuse the shaky, unfocused pictures, but does anyone have any suggestion on how long to wait before the chop?

The pictures are not showing trichomes, I mean it is hard to see theirs color but I feel like they are mostly cloudy. If most of the trichomes are cloudy then you can start a flush and harvest a week or two after that flush. You have 7 weeks of Flo already so you are close to the end

What sort of diy carbon filter did you make? I'm thinking of wrapping some honeywell carbon pre-filter over a box fan myself.

@sifuplease, Hello mate. Im lucky enough to have a 3D printer at my disposal so I got tinkering and made one. I got a few 120mm PC fans with the highest static pressure rating I could find, hooked them up to a transformer with speed controller, then filled the printed filter with activated carbon. From my experience the sheets of carbon arent that great as theyre really thin and I dont think theres much stuff to catch the odours. You can never underestimate the stench that will arrive when any strain comes into flower, its mad!! Good luck!

At this stage is normal, plant is coming to the end of its cycle and it is starting to die. Completely normal at this point
