I likes my first blue mystic grow so much that i thought id do it again, but try managing two at a time incase one goes wrong, but also so I end up with double as much 😂
All is going well, not sure if its the strain or the pots, but off to a much better start than the two previous grows with the smart pot. Time will tell...
Love these girls. They make me so happy when they're bush like this and they're super quick growers!
Have started training them a bit and will have to see how they go.
Coming on a dream. I love this strain, not that I have too much experience with many but out of the three that Ive had, they've all grown nice and bushy and quickly.
Interesting how the one in the black pot is way more bushy than the other, but seems to be flowering slightly slower.
Still going strong. Differences in the two plants is quote interesting. I suspect one will have less buds but bigger, the other with more but smaller. either way the brown pot one is getting hairy quickly!
All seems well so far. Still a noticeable difference between the two which I find interesting. Have some yellow leaves appearing, but its unsurprising. No nutes being given still and would like to keep them just on water.
All seems to be going well. Compared to my previous Blue Mystic grow both leaves are looking more healthy. Other than that I'm just taking it as it comes!
Glad they can't catch Covid-19....
All going well so far. Trying to defoliate, but don't really know what I'm doings not going too hard, just removing if they seem to overlap or looking mangey.
Really enjoying this grow and all the problems that I haven't had this time!
Have just had a look at the trichomes and it seems that they're already at a good level of cloudy/clear. I think another week or so to let the skinny one fatten a bit and let some amber ones develop, then they'll be ready for harvest I think, seems a bit early to me?
Starting to notice the leaves of both plants going a bit yellow. Im guessing this is due to their lack of nutrients?
Any suggestions or tips for this stage of the grow (minus nutes).
All going well still. Noticed that the lighter one has some amber trichs already, whereas the fatter ones doesn't. Ill have to harvest them at the same time because I need the cab to dry them in. Will see what happens in the next two weeks, but I'm really pleased still
Quarantine making me with I had started them 2 months earlier!
Starting to fatten up nicely, even the skinny one is starting to put some effort into bulking up.
took a look at the trichs and they're starting to look more ready now, but had a wave of new pistils so going to chill whilst they do their thing. Really looking forward to cutting and curing these beauties.
Not sure how much longer to give them, seeing an ok mix of colours
So we're at day 70 and im trying to get as close of a look as I can get to their trichomes. Excuse the shaky, unfocused pictures, but does anyone have any suggestion on how long to wait before the chop?
The pictures are not showing trichomes, I mean it is hard to see theirs color but I feel like they are mostly cloudy.
If most of the trichomes are cloudy then you can start a flush and harvest a week or two after that flush.
You have 7 weeks of Flo already so you are close to the end
Seems like the skinny one is sprouting more pistils, so not quite sure on whats going on there. Ill just wait until the other one is ready and they'll both have to go. I suspect it will be a full 12 weeks before they go down.
Still really happy with these two so far.
The deathly looking leaves are leading me to believe she is pretty much done now. Just the lack of all cloudy trichomes is leading me to think otherwise....
Im pretty sure she's ready now, still lacking all cloudy/amber though so I'm not 100% sure. Something is making me keep going for a little big longer just to be sure.
Such a good strain. Having the two plants was interesting as they came out very differently in terms of their overall structure and yield. Obviously both pots didn't have exactly the same conditions, but pretty damn close. Despite being low odour throughout the majority of the grow, she did smell, thankfully the diy carbon filters did their job, but a slightly sweet aroma lingered whenever I entered the room.
Overall very happy with this grow and will always remember my quarantine harvest!
Will update in a month or so when the cure has finished.
