Let's get cheesey!!!😝
24 Hour seed soak in R.O. water, then into 3 gallon airpot filled with Pro-Mix HP and 9 tablespoons of Gaia Green 4-4-4 mixed in.
Just dechlorinated tap water at pH 6.4.
Not sure what grow techniques I'm going to employ on this girl. Just letting her grow for now.

Wow!!! She really grew from Day 9 to Day 14! The main stem has really thickened up and she is putting out lots of side branches. Huge fan leaves already😁. I think I will need to top her several times and use LST to open and spread her out. Good thing I recently bought a 8 foot tall gorilla tent😃. Day and Night temps are from 80 to 82F. This program keeps listing a chilly 50F.
Thanks for viewing. If you have any thoughts on how I should grow her out, please comment below or message me.
Peace,
DeaneR😎
She (I hope it's a girl... growing like a male so far) grew super fast this week.
I burnt her a bit with the Cal-mag plus.
Topped her, and applied some LST to open her up some, and give the lower branches light.
I think this is going to be a large plant at this rate😉.

She is growing well this week despite my best efforts to f@ck it up!
I noticed she is fading out a little and needs a boost in nutrients.
Did a top dressing with Gaia Green Organic Bloon 2-8-4 @ 2 Tablespoons / Gallon of Media = 6 Tablespoons dug into the top surface.
Dry amendment feeding needs some time for the microbes to make the nurients available to the plant. I hope my timing is right.
Thanks for dropping in!

Really grew fast this week, about 8 inches. Crikey! this Sheila was so fast I only captured one photo of her, Lol😀. This plant is really sucking the moisture out of her 3 gallon Air-pot, and requires daily water. Only using pH'd tap water 6-6.5, with a little Cal-Mag, and a once a week treat of Recharge. She has some tip burn, but I'll have to live with that. I topped her upper shoots and will flip to 12/12 next week before she outgrows her tent.
Thanks for stopping in!

This week my girl moved to a new tent, with new lighting, and brand new shoes.
She now resides in a Gorilla Grow 2X4X8ft. tent.
Her light is a HollandStar X6 that I purchased on Amazon for about $100CAN on sale. It pulls 300W @ 120V from the wall. Running her with both Bloom and Veg switches on it photographs very Blurple, but appears quite white to the eye. The last two pics are with just the bloom COBs on. Let's see what this cheapo light can do. The LED market is moving so quickly lately with new technology, and is slowly coming down in price. The day after purchasing a new light, something better and cheaper comes along. I will invest in a better light... eventually.
On day 48 she was transplanted into a Econo Grow 4000 trade size #10 pot that holds about 9.16 U.S. Gallons of media. You can see the 3 Gallon Air-Pot did a great job of Air pruning the roots and produced a dense root-ball that was easy to transplant. I like the way the Air-Pot comes apart when transplanting. It's only downfall is you have to water it slowly or else everything just runs out the side holes. The media is 50/50 Pro-Mix/Coco Coir (recycled from my Smoothie Auto grow) with Gaia Green Organic 2-8-4 Dry amendment at a rate of 9 Teaspoons/Gallon (3TBSP/GAL, or 44mL/GAL) of media.
On D48 I addressed some of the runaway branches with topping and super-cropping.
Today, Day 49, April Fool's Day she was switched to a 12/12 light.
Stay Green Everyone (in a good way🙏)!

DeaneR😎
WEEK 8
This week the light schedule was 12/12. She has started to stretch and is growing quickly.
I'm calling this week a vegetative week since the plant is transitioning still to flower and is just starting to produce her first pistils. Next week (Week 9) will be week #1 of flower.
On Day 51 I applied a trellis net (3.5 inch squares) and started to ScrOG her out, and control her stretch period.
GROW TIP: This trellis net received some bad reviews on amazon for fraying fibers all over the place. The string is woven, and frays if cut with a scissor or knife. Instead use a hot soldering iron or carefully use a small BIC lighter to melt the trellis (do not set anything ablaze...aside from your bowl, lol) and cut it to your desired dimensions. The melted ends stick together and prevent fraying.
On Day 53 I defoliated everything below the trellis net. So long Larf!!!
Keep on Growin'

WEEK 9
WEEK 1 of Flowering!😍
She really grew well this week!
I managed to lower the humidity down to 58-60% @ 80F during the day and 75F at night. Having to use lots of ventilation to keep RH% down (no Co2 supplementation for this tent). No need for the humidifier this week, as this plant in her 9.16 Gallon pot is providing plenty of humidity. Watering 2 Gallons R.O water (with some cal/mag+, and (Recharge once a week)) pH 6.2-6.4 every other day, with little runoff, since I don't want to wash away my Gaia soil amendments.
I'm a Cheese strain virgin. I have never grown or smoked her...so....the anticipation grows each day😜!

WEEK 2 of Flower😍
I'm really happy with her growth this last week.
She is starting to frost up with some nice trichomes, and the buds have begun to stack up.
Her smell is really coming on... and it's lovely😃.
Keep on Growin'
Peace,
DeaneR😎
Week 3 of Flower 😀
I think she has stopped stretching. No new change in height this week.
She is really starting to sugar up and is filling in nicely for 21 days.
Smells nice and sweet so far...reminds me of mandarin oranges.
Time-lapse Film : This film was shot over a six hour period with 299 pictures taken. I started filming 4 hours after lights came on and right after I watered her. I then sped the film up and looped it several times. Enjoy!
Stay safe, and grow on!
Peace,
DeaneR😎
Week 4 of Flower 😀.
She's flowering strong💪. She's drinking a gallon a day and humidity is holding steady at 55% R.H. with just the exhaust fan.
Day/Night temp differential is good at 10 Deg F.
Day28 of flower - Applied a top dressing of Gaia Green Organic Bloom 2-8-4 dry amendment @ 2 Tablespoons/ Gal.
This worked out to 18 tablespoons added to the pot, and will carry her over the final 5 weeks of flower.
Stay safe, and grow on!

Week 5 of Flower 😀.
She's starting to put on some weight this week😍!
We like our girls thick, right? 😄.
R.O. water and Cal/Mag + pH'd to 6.4, and a once a week treat of Recharge to keep up the microbes.
Another 3-4 weeks to go!!
Stay safe, and grow on!

Week 6 of Flower 😀!
Last week of Cal/Mag+.
A Tablespoon of organic unsulphered molasses / US gallon of R.O. water, pH'd to 6.4, and a once a week treat of Recharge, to keep up the microbes.
Another 2-3 weeks to go!! Almost there 😃!!!
Stay tuned for the finish.

Week 7 of Flower 😀!
"Fall" colors starting to come on strong in the fan leaves.
Taking the nighttime temperature down to 65F with the "window shaker" A/C.
A Tablespoon of organic unsulphered molasses / US gallon of R.O. water, pH'd to 6.4, and a once a week treat of Recharge, to keep up the microbes.
Another 1-2 weeks to go!! Almost there 😃!!!

Ashava Valley Cheese ScrOG
Week 8 of Flower😀.
She's looking beautiful, and consuming any nutrition left in her fan leaves.
Taking the nighttime temperature down to 65F with the "window shaker" A/C.
A Tablespoon of organic unsulphered molasses / US gallon of R.O. water, pH'd to 6.4, and a once a week treat of Recharge, to keep up the microbes.
Next week, only water pH'd to 6.5, for the remainder of her life.
I scoped her trichomes, and only found a few amber trichs here and there.
I'm going to try to push her the full 9 weeks of flower.
Not long now!! Almost there 😃!!!
Peace,
DeaneR😎
