Ashava Valley Cheese ScrOG

WEEK 8 This week the light schedule was 12/12. She has started to stretch and is growing quickly. I'm calling this week a vegetative week since the plant is transitioning still to flower and is just starting to produce her first pistils. Next week (Week 9) will be week #1 of flower. On Day 51 I applied a trellis net (3.5 inch squares) and started to ScrOG her out, and control her stretch period. GROW TIP: This trellis net received some bad reviews on amazon for fraying fibers all over the place. The string is woven, and frays if cut with a scissor or knife. Instead use a hot soldering iron or carefully use a small BIC lighter to melt the trellis (do not set anything ablaze...aside from your bowl, lol) and cut it to your desired dimensions. The melted ends stick together and prevent fraying. On Day 53 I defoliated everything below the trellis net. So long Larf!!! Keep on Growin' Peace, DeaneR😎
