1. My auto tent finally has room for another plant. I'm growing Gorilla Glue Auto from Master Sensei Genetics. I've already grown and posted another strain from this Breeder. Again, I'm not sure if this is a Master Sensei strain, or another breeder. Irregardless, I was really happy with the last grow from Sensei. 2. I'll be running ProMix soil and Advanced Nutrients this round. My lights are the QB480w+Red Diodes. She has been a great light for me. 3. I will only feed Recharge until the plant has a few nodes. I'll start at 25% strength at that point.

1. GG has grown her first set of starter leaves. I'll start feeding her a 25% solution of veg. nutes starting this next watering. I'll be using Advanced Nutrients for this grow. 2. This will be the second Master Sensei strain that I've grown. The first one came out fantastic. I've seen pictures of this one at harvest time. I'm looking forward to this old school strain.

1. This was GG's first feeding. I gave her 2l of filtered water and a 25% strength solution of Sensei Grow A+B. A few days later i noticed that some of her leaves were a little crispy. It's not necessarily nutrient burn, but I hadn't planned on using veg. nutes again for another 3 waterings. My goal is to get the plant large enough that I can water 1 gallon at a time. Otherwise, she will never really develop her root system. I guess I could've fed Recharge instead of veg. nutes. 2. This could also be a light stress issue. My QB are pretty strong. I have to keep them at the top of the tent and they are only on at about 80% intensity. This still might be too much for such a little girl. 3. Otherwise she is developing nicely. There is steady growth at the top and secondary nodes are emerging. The best I can do right now is keep an eye on her.

1. This posting is a little late. This is almost GG at 5 weeks. 2. I've done a great deal of LST to the main stalk since last entry. Now I have 3 primary bud sites instead of the 1. I'm going to train her a little bit more before I just let her go to do her thing. I'll probably prune the underneath branches once she starts flowering. They will be at a severe disadvantage anyway since they are underneath the canopy due to LST. 3. I'm going to try another feeding. Last time I tried a 25% strength solution in 2l of filtered water. Leaves got a little crispy, so I watered the next time with Recharge then the following time with Filtered Water. I'm going to feed/water her 2l+ of 25% strength. This time I'll add Cal-Mag to the mixture. I will just give filtered water next time then Recharge after that. It's a very light regimen. I might get 1 more feeding in before she starts flowering. I'd just like to get some veg. nutes in her before/during her stretch.

1. GG is officially in flower! She is developing some nice little buds. 2. I haven't been happy with my veg. nutes for a long time. My plants start showing deficiencies due ProMix having no nutritional value. I add nutes at 25% and they seem to negatively affect the plant. This only happens with some strains, but overall my veg. feeding game is sub-par. 3. Therefore, I'm switching to an organic line that should take care of some of the deficiencies I'm seeing in a few of the strains I've grown. I've used NFtG before. It resulted in flavorful, aromatic buds. However, yields were small and there are a lot of ingredients to their line. Right now I'm more interested in giving the plants the best environment I can and this is the best I can do at this time. 4. Otherwise she is looking pretty good. GG is a big on the small side. Most of my autos are almost 3 ft.

1. GG is looking really good! She made the nute transition nicely! I don't know if she likes the new nutes better, but she is looking nice and lush. 2. I'm doing some light defoliation and lollipopping in order to get the plant to concentrate on the main bud stalks. I'm trying to reduce the number of popcorn buds when I harvest.

1. GG is cruising right a long. Buds are starting to stack on the stalks. Leaves are healthy and lush. Life is good for this girl. 2. Due to the LST employed during veg., she has 4 strong primary bud stalks. They should develop nicely in the coming weeks. 3. I really like using Oregon's Finest nutrient line. There are a lot of bottles, and you have to check your pH, but this line really brings out the aromas in the strains. I'm hoping I can increase my yield with these lights. They are much more intense than the lights I was using the last time I used this nutrient line.

1. Another week down! She is stacking up nicely. She is starting to get a little frosty, but the buds are still pretty young. 2. Switching the nutrient line hasn't seemed to affected GG. The next few weeks will really tell. AN's line really packs on the flower girth. I'm hoping to see similar results with NftG. I know my grows with Nectar have been very aromatic and flavorful. Yields have been lower. I'm hoping between my experience and improved equipment, I can increase my yield to an acceptable amount.

1. GG is loving life. She is starting to put on some girth. The buds are maturing nicely. 2. Pistils are starting to turn red. I see a few lower leaves are also starting to fade. I'm thinking she should be ready for harvest before the end of May. 3. GG really seems to like the NftG. Everything has been running smoothly. She doesn't show any signs that I switched nutrients at the beginning of flower.

1. GG is nearing the end. I figure another 1-3 feedings of nutes then I'll start flushing. NftG uses Aprodite's Extraction and Herculean Harvest for a 2 week flush. I normally use plain water for the last few weeks, but I'll give it a shot. Maybe Ill do 2-3 feedings then water the rest of the way. 2. Buds are really starting to get dense. Trichomes look pretty good. They are still plenty of clear ones though. I'm hoping as the trichomes mature and develop, I might get a bit more of a frosty look to the buds. Otherwise they look great!

1. We are about 2 weeks from harvest. Trichomes are milky, and the buds look filled out and mature. 2. I've switched to Nectar's flushing nutes. I'll run Aphrodite's and Herculean for 3 or so waterings then finish up with filtered water for the last week.

1. This is it for Magilla Gorilla! I gave her a final watering on Monday. She should be dried out by Friday. Therefore, Friday is harvest day! 2. The buds are amazing! All are fat and juicy. I had to support one with a metal dowel. 3. I've been experimenting with LST and Topping this growing season. I've had good results with both methods, but I think I like LST of the main bud stalk the best. It can be done gradually, so there is less stress on the plant, and it accomplishes the same thing. I have 5 primary colas on this plant that are all roughly the same size. Topping works well, but some autos are too delicate. Almost all autos can handle some gentle LST.

This turned out to be a great anytime bud. The jars smell delicious and the buds are very aromatic. I smoked a spliff of the some popcorn bud trimmings and I was really, really stoned! I'll definitely grown this strain again. I'd like to get some seeds from a few breeders and compare the grows.

This was a very easy grow from the start. Seed split within 24hrs. She grew vigoursly enough that I felt a good dose of LST was in order. She slowed down a little, but that could also have been her transitioning to flower. Anyway, she produced 5 really nice, full bud stalks. Buds are dense and very aromatic. The herb has a very berry-like aroma.

Thanks! I like how this plant is turning out. I was looking for a bigger plant though. a few other people I know have grown this strain from the same breeder and their plants were closer to 3ft.

Its looking good, like u say a littlr crispy on the edges, but looking good. May i give just one opinion? Not a tip because im not a expert, but have you tried using bottled water with the right ph instead of using ph up and down? Its only because i belive the more you add the more the ppm of minerals, it might be hurting her, i would try just keeping the ph up and down out of question for now and using a low mineral ppm bottled water with a tiny bit of Recharge added. Just so you can see if they start to solve the crispyness. And gg is my favourite strain of all times, i can't wait for you to have that resinous bud going to your lungs it is always amazing. If u want to stop by at my diary feel free to leave ur opinion as well. Wishyouthebestofluckmyfriend.

@DoDrugs420, Thanks for the opinion. I've had trouble in early veg with several plants. I don't use pH up or down. The nutrient line I'm using is pH balanced. I do PPM/pH tests periodically. I also do slurry tests if I think there is a problem. I'm leaning towards the nutrient line missing some component that I haven't determined. It usually goes away around late veg. It is certainly gone during flowering. This has only been an issue using AN. I have an auto using Remo and it doesn't exhibit any of the crispiness.

@Bigfaddy76, I didn't have any problems growing this strain. I switched nutes during early flower and it didn't seem to matter to her. Of course I'm growing an auto strain and if you are taking cuttings, you are probably growing photos. Do you have several cutting of the same strain and only 1 is not looking good? If so, maybe take a few more cuttings.
Bigfaddy76
Bigfaddy76commented5 years ago
@Quexos, Just curious if you had issues growing this strain. I have a rooted cut and she looks like she’s in dire need of water. I probably let it go a day to long because I was repotting and feeding the following day. All the other cuts look good and not thirty. However this cut looks like it’s still thirsty but soil is plenty moist. If read it can be a difficult strain to grow.
