Soaked seeds overnight in a cup of water and then transferred to paper towel for germination. Three days later all the seeds had sprouted and were planted into starter cubs. After 1 week I transplanted the starter cubes into 4inch pots. At Day 13 they had they’re first feeding of nutrient solution.

Two plants on the bottom left are showing signs of a deficiency , at first I assumed it may have been from over watering or stress from transplanting from starter tray. However now I’m thinking it may be a iron deficiency. Introduced a cal mag supplement with iron on Day 20 but still not much a noticeable change in the light green / yellow leafs.

The two plants that were having some sort of a deficiency are starting to do better after introducing cal mag into the feedings. They’re being feed every 3 days once the medium has become dry. On day 27 all the plants were topped at the fourth node. The one was a bit further along than the others but all of them had reached their sixth node or more. Next week they will be getting transplanted into 5 gallon pots for the rest of veg , then into 7 gal fabric pots prior to the switch to 12-12.

The plants have responded well to the topping last weekend. They required watering every 2nd day and actually today I woke up and found out every second day was too long in between waterings. Unfortunately the plants had become drought stressed a bit I was planning on putting on today anyhow so I went ahead and did that. I’ve also changed from my original plan of going to a 5g pot then onto a 7g pot for flower. I will now use the 3g pot they moved into today followed by the 7g pot for flower. The last two pictures are before I watered and about 4 hrs later and the plants are rebounding quick I’m sure they’ll be fine. Oops

Had good growth this week after the plants had been up potted last weekend. I hadn’t planned on doing any low stress training but due to growing from seed the two are stretching much more than the other so they’ve been tied down now. My par meter arrived so I’ve dialed in my light a bit better lowering it to 28 inch’s. I’m now running 400umol/m2/s in the middle of the canopy and around 280umol/m2/s around the outside of my room. I’ve purchased another light that will be introduced before flower to get a more uniform PPFD throughout the entire canopy.

Any ideas why the 1 plant on the left and one on the right are getting the light green new growths. They’re a bit slower growing than the other but still seem healthy and not stunted. Same environment, same feed schedule. I was thinking iron deficiency but with cal mag no diff.

Good week of growth , I added a second light at the beginning of the week for a more even light intensity across the canopy. Using the solar system controller I’ve been slowly increasing the ppfd , currently around 500. Continued with LST , topping and super cropping.

Well today’s the last day of veg for the four girls I choose to keep , the fifth plant was moved outdoors so best of luck to her. This week I transplanted into my final 7 gallon pots , topped at the time I transplanted and tied them down all to keep the canopy as low and flat as I can. I’ve dropped the canna rhizotonic and switched to advanced b52 now only because I’ve used up all the rhizo. My ph was balancing out between 6.1 and 6.3 while using the rhizo and now without it’s between 5.9 and 6.2 so I’m hoping it dosnt cause me any issues although I feel it will be fine. My biggest concern is my rooms humidity now at 70 sometimes above. I’ve ordered a dehumidifier should be here next week but tomorrow on the first day of 12-12 they will be getting totally stripped of the fan leaves as I will be following three a lights shwazzing technique. I’ve never Used this technique before but im looking forward to it and it should help with my humidity in the meantime until I get a proper dehumidifier. Wish me luck see ya in a week!

Finally started into flower this week. I did a heavy defoliation on day 1 of flower prior to the plants getting their first 12 hrs of darkness. The plants rebounded from the defoliation very well. I dropped the b52 for week 1 and 2 of flower but will be starting with advanced big bud next week. I’ve scaled back on the Cali magic the last few weeks witch has lowered my ppm inflow to around 850-900 , my runoff last feed was around 1200ppm. Alls well with the plants all are very healthy and I’m looking forward to seeing the flowers start to appear. Still waiting on my dehumidifier it’s sopose to be here tomorrow , I need that because I need to get the humidity down before any flowers begin developing.

Plants are all doing well , in the last few days the pre flowers have started to develop. Introduced advanced big bud this week at a light dosage. Room humidity is still higher than I’d like finally got my dehumidifier and it drops the humidity quickly but also makes a lot of heat. If left on the room will reach 34 degrees so I’m still trying to find a balance there. At the end of next week I will be defoliating again which will help. Looking forward to seeing some nice flowers begin to grow.

Week three is finally over I had been anxiously waiting to defoliate and set up my scrog in the room. The one pheno in the front did not stretch nearly as much as the other three plants so I raised it up on a stool to end up with an even as possible canopy. Advanced b52 was reintroduced at the beginning of week 3 and I’ve increased the big bud dosage a bit. I haven’t grown blue dream before so not sure what kind of feed they can handle yet but I’ll play with it currently my inflow is around 1000ppm with my outflows between 1200-1400ppm varying between the plants a bit. I kept the solar system controller at 100r/100w/100b for the first 2 weeks but have been slowly lowering the blue light now , currently ended the week at 100r/100w/50b. Any input on spectrum settings would be appreciated my last grow I followed California lightworks recommendations and I was disappointed with my yield although I don’t believe it was the lights fault just curious to see what people are running.

Plants are now into full flower everything has been looking really good so far. I started lowering the grow dosage while mixing up my feed solution hoping to drop the nitrogen down a bit and I increased the bigbud dosage this week to 2ml/l. In late veg these plants were very thirsty prior to defoliation needing to be fed every second day but now they’re only requiring watering every third day. Easy week in the garden can’t wait to see what Humboldts blue dream can yield , roughly 6 weeks to go.

Biggest change this week in the garden is the smell. Wow! , delicious pretty much sums it up. I can’t wait to test Humboldts blue dream. My last two feedings I dropped my base nutrients and just ran with the Cali magic , b52 and bigbud as my runoff was creeping up over 1600ppm. I will resume with the base nutrients next feed but will be lowering the micro and grow a bit. Based on what I’m seeing the quality of this strain is going to be quite good but I’m really hoping to see them stack on some weight yet as I’d like to see a good yield. Roughly 5 weeks to go!

Not a lot to report this week , I had some light bleaching starting on a few of the tops so I’ve raised my light a bit more. The top bud sights are getting around 800ppfd and the lower tops are around 650ppfd now. My runoff has continued to climb so the next watering I will be giving them a lot more volume in hopes of flushing some of the salt buildup out. I’ve been on a feed, feed, feed, flush schedule but I think I will go down to two feeds then a flush from now on. The big bud will be getting swaped out for advanced overdrive soon aswel.

Not much to report , yesterday was the first feeding using the overdrive. Things are looking good a few of the tops ended up getting some light bleaching but if that’s my worst problem I’m pretty happy overall. The one plant has definitely been a bit slower during flower but the other ones are looking like they may be ready before 10 weeks. I don’t have the space to harvest individual plants So I may end up splitting the difference. Time will tell. Any thoughts on overall yield?

Plants are looking very nice ending week 8 with some purple and blues coming in on the colas. This week I changed my feed solution a bit dropping out the calimagic and b52 while increasing the overdrive a bit. My runoff has climbed up now to 1900ppm which is getting quite high even with every third feed being a flush and with about 30-40 percent runoff each time. Tomorrow week 9 begins and the plants will get their first flush with flawless finish. They will be getting flushed from here on out. Almost all the trichome heads have turned milky now a few clear yet but haven’t noticed any amber. I plan to take them down around 20-30 percent amber. Excited for harvest and testing on these. Shout out to Humboldt seeds , these blue dream have been a all around great grow!

I’ve been feeding the plants they’re final flush solution now for the past week. When I started flushing my runoff was at 1900ppm last watering my runoff was down to 1000ppm. I will be continuing to flush and checking trichomes next week aiming for harvest by day 70. Home stretch!

Well it was a relatively long grow but I think it was totally worth it. After an 8 week veg and 10 full weeks since the flip to 12-12 I cut the girls down. Still very little amber trichomes mostly all milky I would have gone a few more days to mostly flush more but due to work I’ve got to get these dried so I can head out of town. The last week the plants just got plain water and a lot of it the last watering 2 days before harvest my inflow was 175ppm and my outflow was 400ppm I would have liked to see it lower but no time. At this point I’m hoping that with a proper cure this blue dream will be a nice smooth smoke! Next update will be with dried weights and product review but may be a while due to work. Thanks again humbolt seed org I would definitely grow this strain again.

After 8 weeks in the veg stage training and toping and 10 weeks in flower the plants were taken down. They were hung upside down in my room maintaining 55rh at around 20 degrees. After 8 days hanging I dry trimmed and stored all the buds into mason jars to begin the curing process. My jars are maintaining between 53-60rh at 16degrees. I will continue to cure these girls for the next 3 weeks or so. I’m quite impressed with the early tests though , the smoke is by no means harsh but if I could go back I would have started flushing sooner. Very nice strain to smoke no paranoia but also quite a strong high. I also ended up with around 2 pounds of excellent sugary trim and larf for making bubble hash and edibles. Also the fifth plant that was removed from the room due to space limitations is now over 6ft tall basically a tree and doing great outdoors. Shout out to humbolt seeds and they’re blue dream!
