Just getting diary ready. Red Purps is already sprouting, Purple Orange CBD looked like its tap root is popping, and waiting on Purple Maroc to start. I have a jar of 'Purpinator" I hope to use to use on these plants to really make the buds pop.
The Purple Orange seed doesnt look like its gonna pop, so I started an Auto Purple Kush.
Started an Auto Pink Kush CBD 30:1 since the Purple Orange definitely didn't pop, and I took it out of the propagation dome.
Moved Purple Maroc and mystery strain into hydro garden, and into grow tent.
The Auto Purple Kush seed I started is small, but seems to be normal, but the Pink Kush CBD seedling was a bit deformed. I will update tonight. **Update moved Red Purps to grow tent, and both Purple and Pink Kush look ok, but small.
Tried dropping pH even lower after water change (5.5-6)..... I had it just a bit high at the start of last week (6.0-6.5) and all the pots but PK bastard were high (around 7.5). I wonder if the rapid rooter made it jump, or I didnt wash the ceramic balls enough and small dust particles changed pH. I will make sure to check again tomorrow and get it back to 6 if it goes high. The CBD Kush is my youngest seedling. I just started it yesterday.
Mid week and the Purple Kush Auto still has an odd colour. The others seem to be coming along, and the 'odd' damage to Purple Maroc seems to have stopped. I believe it was getting too much water as the supply was close to the seedling site, which I redirected further away. Overall, I am glad to see the growth so far as I was worried about all of them at one point.
Switched spots in tent to see if Purple Kush darkens up a bit.
pH at 7 again over night, so I dropped it back down to pH 5.5
Next day Purple and Pink Kush had pH around 6, so I dropped it a little again. Is it normal for pH to change over time?
Purple Kush still shows signs of getting darker leaves starting at the tips. I will give another 2 days to see if the lower pH helps.
Purple Kush seems to be getting color back through out it's leaves. Not a gradual change, but blotchy dark green moving back in I hope.
Pink Kush and Purple Maroc seem to enjoy the addition of a CO2 generator. I expect this time next week to have flowers on the Pink and Purple Kush.

Started with low pH (relatively). Hope it stays less than 6.
Added some Purpinator to the Red Purps and Purple Maroc. Will top the P. M. this week, and defoliate. Im leaving lower branches on PM and RP to grab for clones.
Next day after water change and ensuring all gardens were at 5.5 pH; I had 3 gardens at 6, and the Pink Kush was at 6.5. Got them all down around 5.5-6 again.
2 days after water change and all but the PK were at 5.5 pH.... I dropped PK back to 5.5 pH, I hope it stays finally. CO2 bubble have slowed down to more like the video showing me how to make it, they are about 4 seconds apart now. Made a new setup for garden seeds in the dome too .... now I wont fear they dont get the air they need...
Start of 4th week, and some small pistils showing in both autos - should I feed veg nutes for now, and change to flowering nutes next week, or a mixture of them some how?
Keep it with the veg nutrients during the 1st week of stretch , then during the second of stretch you can do half grow half flo and after you can go with full flowering strenght. But it seems that ruderalis needs more N during the flo than classic strains so you can add a little extra N everythime you think it is necessary but not too much to avoid any excess
I was trying to even out the main growth area, as this plant stretched between 5&6th nodes. It looked like a palm tree. It's done now, but should I treat the wound?
Your topping is pretty clean even if like you said your plant was looking like a lil tree before that : it's now looking like a lil bush which is not that bad. Fortunatly you did your Xtrem topping on a photoperiodic plant so she'll recover soon enough. I hope that you have kept the apex to try to clone it !
You can put something to treat the wond but if you don't then the part you'v cut will dry just before the node and naturally "heal" , I know that there is a red kind of "glue" that peoples are putting on the plants scares or that they are using to make grafting : sorry I don't know the word in english to tell what it is.
Still fighting with pH. It was 5.5 when I add the plants, but when I check a few hours later, it's already above 6.5
Days 2: I trimmed the bottom fan leaves from Purple Kush to keep them off the ground. I also topped Purple Maroc. pH was still below 6
Day 4: Veg is gone wild..... I have been shoving the large fan leaves on the Autos underneath other branches to allow light in. Red Purps may get topped yet again.
Day 6:. Switched autos to bloom nutrients. Added Purpanator to them. pH set to 5.5.
Topped bottom and mid branches of Red Purps to keep canopy more even.
Day 7: replaced CO2 generator.
Day 1: Will change to 12/12 mid week, after the tops fill in a little more. Defoliated a good amount on photos. Autos are 13" tall.
Day 3: Missed the chance to move the Photos to their 12/12 tent. The Autos take up more room than I expected.... I envisioned being able to trim them. The Autos are stretching and I need to raise the light, which I dont want to do yet.... I want to keep the Photos short until they flower. Also, the 12/12 tent has a bit more room then the veg tent. Since I started Purpanator, the tips of the leaves have browned a little..... just a bit. I might skip it next week. The pictures were taken with the bloom light off to show the colour of those Kush's.
Day 5: Moved Red Purps and Purple Maroc to flowering tent, and Autos both have the tent to their selves. I am going to do some LST to Purple Maroc and will defoliate what needs it. Pictures to follow...
Day 7:. Defoliated both Photos, starting to clear bottom and center out. Just doing a bit at a time to avoid any big stresses now that I switched to 12/12
Day 1: Gave Autos full bloom nutrients and no Purpanator. LST will be modified on Purple Maroc and probably added to Red Purps.
Day 4: Nothing really changed yet, so skipped the pics yesterday and today. MIght have preflowers popping on Purple Maroc, will look more in 3 days with pics. Also need to adjust LST strings still.
Day 6:. Yesterday I broke one side of the top of the Purple Maroc and almost died. I tried to tape it back in place, but it wouldn't stay, so it's gone. Defoliated the Red Purps pretty good. Both plants have pistils popping
Day 1: Auto flowers are getting some nice crystal. Purple Kush smells nice, Pink Kush smells like wet veg. The root mass on Purple Kush is huge! The photos were defoliated, and finally both showing flowers. pH is 6
Day 3:. Finally got to LST Red Purps, she really needed it. I pulled some of the Purple Maroc branches and tried defoliating, but it's thick in there. The previous LST still has a lot of branches bent, but a lot of new growth has popped up. I wonder if it's because I broke the main collar last week. I have to find more weights to tie down the last few branches.
Day 7: Purple Kush wreaks of grape bubble gum. Pink Kush wreaks of gas.
Day 2: Gonna switch Purple Kush to flush now. It has 3 or 4 days left..... Wish is got bigger buds. Will see what the next week holds for her.
Day 7: A few days left before I pull the Purple Kush. I will be keeping an eye on the Pink Kush for a mid next week harvest. The Red Purps looks like she might be going purple too..... just thrilled. It would just be the Purple Maroc left to get purple buds too. The gassy smell ok the Pink Kush is unreal. Started flush on PK
Harvesting Pink Kush next week, for now she has the whole tent to her self.
Red Purps is looking a nice lavender color, and Purple Maroc is still growing strong. I want to bend main stalk..... It's too tall
Day 1:. Broke another main branch on Purple Maroc. I'm such a tool! I hope since I got it placed right back, that it might mend itself. I will only add some water and nutes to the pail so I dont need to move it (as I do every water change). I also found what I think was a male flower... as I picked it, I think pollen poofed out. Then I dropped it and couldn't find it. Will keep looking on it..... moving forward I hope I dont start getting seeds.
Day 2:
The plant grew easily enough, with a few bouts of deficiencies, but it hermed out on me and basically wasted 11 weeks on me. Hopefully the fucking thing didnt compromise the other plants i had with it
Trying to keep away as I fear my meddling caused my hermie's. I found a light out, luckily I have 2. Looking for an upgrade now. Will use the remaining light as a backup.
End of week, I have 3 x "600w" LED lights. Total draw is about 360w. 2 white (with added red) and one blurple in between them. I need to fix hanger system to keep them close, but not too close to affect cooling.
Buds are smaller than a lot of strains, but they dont need to be big to stand out! Beautiful reddish purple colour. Smell is sweet with a nice kushy aroma, and it taste almost as good as I think Bubba Kush does. Got a clone going from her, I will be glad for a second round. This plant also put up with me learning a lot too, so I'd highly recommend it, and Female Seeds.
I got a few seeds from the hermie Purple Maroc, but most of the buds seem dense but small. I planned on smushing a bunch of the lower buds, but it didnt work, so I have a bunch of poorly trimmed buds to give to friends :)
@Fleetwood, Great! I used to make Peltier as cooling system. In an easy search you may find how to use peltier to chill water. I may help you if you need. With some 50w you may cool your water a lot!
@Psilocubensis,It's really simple, and I get all the aeration from the water running through the ceramic pellets and falling out of the mesh basket to the water below. I half fill a 5 gal pail. Only root issue i had was when tent got up to 35 degrees celcius. I use hygrozyne now to help the roots. I have thought about an air pump, but so far keeping it as is.
If your tools are clean and disinfected before use, then you never have to worry about the wound and it can heal by itself. You could use aloe vera or even honey
@@Athos,ISO 99 soaked before i did it. Its dried up a lot, so I was worried it might continue inside the stalk. I will take pics for the history books anyways :)

I am trying an experiment..... I trimmed all the branches off, when I harvested and left the stalk in the hydro garden.... it has some foliage starting up at the bottom. After leaving it 3 days in the dark, I moved it back into 18/6. I have a new seedling, and this old stalk together.... seeing if I can get a 2nd harvest out of it. Be an interesting trick to get more bud from auto's

@SirDillton, Thanks, this week certainly saw a massive growth spurt. I think I am going to change light to 12/12 this week for Red Purps and Purple Maroc. I just want to see the mains on Red to pick up a bit before I shorten their light.
@DinafemSeeds, Unfortunately, after more then a week in a rapid rooter, the seed didnt root successfully. I will try another seed in a few weeks to get a plant going for outside.
