Mexican Airlines #2 (1st grow att 2/3)

All organic grow, using Foxfarm ocean forest soil with "KIND Hot Soil". Use of added organic nutrients are at a minimum due to the soil being pre loaded with cannabis pleasing nutrients. So, have had a real hard time getting this variety to actually "grow". Out of 6 seeds, 2 have actually broke the soil! (Bought additional seeds from another vendor... which will be my Mexican Airlines #3).

Plant exploded this past week in comparison. Beautiful green color, plant looks very strong!, no issues noted. Watered as needed, no added nutrients. *Added 2 normal ordinary "60w" LED lightbulbs from "drop lights", this is in addition to LED already in use.

Beautiful veg week, solid beefy growth! Solid and squat. Beautiful green color, Not overwatering, past week 1 heavy watering, 2 light. Began LST, very gently, not to break plant.

Ok WOW her growth exploded this past week! I noticed the 1st pistels about 5 days ago and they have progressed steadily. We are now definitely into "pre" flower going to flower. Her growth wen from 7 days ago at 5cm w/o LST to 15cm with LST changing her shape. Tight internodal spacing, but heavy growth. Compare previous pics to these. No added nutrients as it's already in the soil. Watered as needed, alt between 2 light waterings then a heavy. The only water I use in my indoor grows is RO Water. The companion plants are growing extremely well, no noticeable bugs in the grow tent. At times there is heavy herbal smells from the oregano, basil and even the lavender is blooming..

OK.. wow! This week explosive thick growth, 1st full week into "flower". Water as she needed it as before. Increased LST a bit, being gentle (probably too gentle), very minor trimming of leaves earlier in week to allow more light to flower sites. Noticing at times a slight "Ganja" smell, which is very nice combined with the aromas of Oregano, Basil, & Lavender. Her flower sites are very pretty, loaded with white pistals. Beautiful plant all around.. Here growth in past 2 weeks is amazing.. Would live to hear yalls recommendations and suggestions to better her grow, thanks..

So.... another week has come and gone, all the while this medicine keeps growing... This week I continued with the LST as well as gentle trimming of fan leaves to allow light to the bud sites.. I probably be more aggressive than I am in this. Also attempting the "bend & hide" of the fan leaves. Really trying not to stress this sativa too much... Still getting that beautiful Ganja smell mixed with the flower and herbal smells from my companion plants.... it's very nice... Noticing trichomes starting to appear at the bud sites!!.. MA#1 has the most so far (which is expected) as she has always seemed a faster grower.. MA#2 has them but its still minor, but shes doing so well... MA#3 no trichomes yet but that's fine, shes still young.... no worries the babies are growing I still havent added any extra "nutes"!... As I am using FoxFarm Ocean Forest as well as "KIND Hot Soil" (look this up! Wow!). The soil is jammed packed with organic goodness! I cant say enough how great the plants grow in this and how simple it is.... Still watering as needed, using only RO H2O, alternating between "light" and "heavy" waterings.. Ok... wow! Another great week of growth! Plants are healthy and vibrant... the smells are wonderful... So what's new with MA#2? She growing very nicely, her buds are thickening up, producing some nice resin that is also becoming more fragrant! Her color is still beautiful, nice dark green... very vigorous and healthy.. no issues I can speak of. I've continued with the LST and light trimming. Really did minimal addition this week hoping giving her a slight break will be good for her. I'm still trying bending and hiding of the fan leaves with some success.. I added 1/2 the dose/ concentration of "Big Buds ORGANIC" 1 feeding (GD does not have the ORGANIC version listed, so I listed the normal one)just for a slight kick. Seems to have responded nicely to it. Not anything "drastic" or "phenomenal" but "nicely". My watering as still as before, a cpl light waterings followed by a heavy. So, you'll notice the pics of the JUG.. ok, so I was curious about adding CO². I've read a bit on it, and the "theory" is sound I guess, so I did my own Redneck-ification.. I used a 1 gal jug, put in 3 cups of sugar, 2tsp yeast, water, and covered the opening with a balloon that I poked a few holes in... yeast fermentation creates CO²... extremely cheap and easy to do... (as a side note, I found out fungus/ mushrooms create CO²! Looking at adding mushroom grow inside my tent... think about it... look it up! I dont know if having "companion plants" like I do in the current setup is actually effective or not, but its pretty... and it doesnt hurt anything. But it does appear that my Basil and Oregano are not fans of my grow light (tho the Pot and apparently the Lavender do), seems like it's too much for them.. Overall in my opinion a successful week of good growing...

So her buds are getting really fat... they're sticky and resinous... her smell is almost intoxicating... still doing light trimming of big leaves just enough to get light into the bud sites... Upon exam all her buds still have plenty of white pistils, the trichomes are loaded and mostly still clear with some becoming "cloudy". Running your hands through her to trim her leaf's leaves your fingers super sticky... No issues this week... she looks beautiful and healthy... maybe another week to week and a half before harvest.. just keeping an eye on the color of her pistils and trichomes.. Such a sexy Mamma...

So this beast.. is beefy.... another beautiful week of growth. No issues, all went smooth... Watering as she need, shes kinda thirsty... her colors and smells are amazing... you can smell her through the tent! (You could argue time for new carbon filter, but nah.. I like the smell). So, her main cola is thick AF...thick and long.... I'm impressed!... Shes super sticky gooey ooey....the smells are intense... I cant pull out all of them... theres fruit, citrus, pine, earth all sorts of amazing smells.... actually she just smells like some dank ass pot! I love the smell of this plant as I'm checking the trichomes.. putting my face in the middle and breathing deeply, being able to taste and smell her... omg, I know this sounds crazy but.... it's almost sexual! Her trichomes are mostly cloudy, I'm watching her daily as she is close to being ready for harvest.. I'm watching and waiting.... her flowers all look like dusted with powdered sugar... Another amazing week...

This grow was educational. I had major problems not with just germination, but actually getting the seed to grow .... I am majorly pleased and happy over all... Her buds are super dank sticky icky... smells of fuel, citrus, earth, wood... visable THC/ Cannabinoid Crystal's all over her buds... her buds are THICK... MA2 definitely yielded more than MA1! But both plants very similar in "body type" she took longer than MA1, but shes definitely fatter... I can not wait to try this sexy hot mamma....
