She's really bushing out from the FIM. New growth has no more of that mag deficiency. I think adding some tap water to the RO has helped.
She's real low, I need to get some stretch on the next round for this mulch, or find something else... maybe I'll just plant it higher in the final pot and let the roots do their thing.
Took 2 clones today and put them in little 3oz cups of coir soaked with ful power, coconut water powder, aloe x200 powder, recharge and a little cal mag. I watered the donor with this solution after wards.
Still have gnats so I put up a sticky trap and it seems to be controlling them. If It gets any worse I'll powder more with DE, add another trap, water in some mosquito dunk and add more mulch.
Gnats are under control... pretty much gone. Growing FAST. I'm gonna have to do something to keep her at the size I want.
She was starting to get a bit tall, so I topped her, massaged her main stem to break up the walls and let her flop over and removed some of the small junk under her skirt. She bounced right back. I like this one so far.
She's growing fast. I trimmed the lowest 4 branches... the ones without the "balloons" where the main stem branches... the ones that will make larf.
I completely neglected the clones by leaving their domes off for 24 hours on day 2! LMAO. They were LIMP! I trimmed them up some more, sprayed them and their domes with RO, recovered and put back. 1 day later they were popped back up and looking good.
@Belverde, thanks! This will be my first indoor all organic grow. My last outdoor grow was bruce banner and was all organic. Despite a nasty infestation of spider mites and then bud worms and being grown in some "less than ideal" soil, the taste and high were amazing.
You have some amazing grows going on there. Good luck to you.
Fungus gnat tip. Mix 1part hydrogen peroxide with 4 parts PHโed water. It will kill the larva of the gnats and is a good supplement to help get air into your roots. Youโll need to use some neem or something to get rid of the adults and make sure they donโt come back but youโll definitely notice a reduction in the gnats with this tip. Garden looks great man. ๐ค
@ZJRDUDEZ, Thanks!
While H2O2 is fine for chemical grows, this is an all organic grow using recycled organic living soil and peroxide kills the bacteria needed to provide nutrients to the plant.
In this case I've been watering with R/O with mosquito dunk pieces (bti), adding sticky traps and dusting with DE. I also top dress with neem in veg and Karanja in flower. They are almost gone and I feel they'll be eradicated after another bti watering.
It seems the bti is taking care of the larvae very well and the sticky traps take care of the adults. I'm not sure if the DE is actually working, but I'll keep using it this round. Next round I'll be adding bti pieces to the soil, watering with bti, using no mulch in veg (to keep the top part of the soil dryer), top dressing with neem/Karanja and dusting with DE and adding sticky traps. I'll be adding the mulch in flower.
@Chronicbastard, Thanks! If I find the time to completely eradicate these gnats I may get buds as nice as yours! I almost got them all with just the DE so far.
Interesting setup!
Looking good! โ๏ธ
I recently harvested three Gorilla Zkittlez, vey beautiful plants, sweet sweet smell, lovely purple color towards the end and massive crystals! ๐๐
Have fun with your grow! ๐
