There's enough space in my grow space that I am going to start another seed along with this 1st-week seedling. I am going to top one and let the other grow just like in my main grow, except I will defoliate both plants.

**Plant 3** This girl has about 1.5 weeks of growth on #4 and is 3inches tall. I started 'tarantula' on her but I haven't done any training on the plant. This will be the one I top for this grow. I will also try to defoliate this plant. **Plant 4** Maybe an inch tall right now, just sprouted 2 weeks after I germinated the other seeds. 3 cotyledons on this seedling and it honestly looks tiny... too small to even be out of the ground but yet here it is with 3 leaves! No nutes yet. This will be my untopped plant for the grow. I will try defoliating this plant

Plant 3 was topped, and will be defoliated when needed to compare to my other topped non-defoliated auto. Topped to the 3rd node, topped once the plant grew 5 nodes and was also drinking more water. 6 potential main colas. These branches were LST'd to expose more leaves to the light and cover light leaks to the soil. Plant looks vibrant and bushy Plant 4 3 branches per node instead of 2 Not much more grow beyond leaf width. First week of veg because it was started late.

Plant 3 I think I damaged a stem at one point so I'm down a cola. Still have 4 decent ones. One cola is very close to the other but I have to wait until the branch gets a bit longer so i can LST it into the light. I noticed some speckling on 2 leaves so I upped my nutes a bit. Both grows that I'm running right now are re-using Ocean Forest I had used in my previous grow. I fertilized the soil but I must not have done it enough. The increase in nutes appears to have stopped the speckling. I started to get this on [Plant 2] and the increase in nutes also worked. I'll have to keep a closer eye on it for now. Branches are starting to stretch out. I am worried about defoliating this one now because of the stress it's been under so early, so maybe I won't. Plant 4 The tri-node beauty is about 3.5 inches now, leaves look really healthy. Each node is branching out so I'm very interested so see what this means. I wonder if topping this plant would have been better than topping [Plant 3], but I really wanted to see the 3 branches shape this one. Gave the first dose of real nutes because this plant is about 2 weeks [i started this one later than Plant 3]. So far so good, no signs of deficiency yet but I may throw some fertilizer in now to prevent anything

LST both plants. Plant 3 has healed well from the topping and is back up in full swing. Looks like 4-5 main colas currently, but we'll see how that plays out Plant 4 has stopped producing tri-branch nodes. The first 2 sets of branches has 3, but now they're back to normal. The main cola keeps growing at an angle, and the leaves coming out of the very top appear to stick together a little more so I'm not sure what's going on there but it'll be interesting to see what's up with this plant.

I've kind of had these grow going on in the background and haven't been giving it too much thought. I will measure the plants for next week. Plant 3 is growing well, with about 8 potential main colas formed. Looks real healthy, but I struggled with phosphorus when I ran other plants in re-used soil. Will not be doing that again with these 1-gallon grows because the plants leech the soil. Plant 4 is a genetic "wtf". It only has 3 nodes for the first 2 sets of leaves, then it corrected itself. But on one of the 3-node branches, there is a 4th branch coming out as well? It's complicated but interesting to see.

PLANT 3 This topped plant is very bushy. About 8 predominant colas, 4 which appear to be main [much thicker, bushier, closer node spacing]. 15in tall and drinking as much as the 24in plant [2L daily] So far hasn't shown nute deficiency unlike the last grow in re-used soil which showed deficiency just before flowering started. Overall, seems very healthy. Lots of medium-sized leaves. Very robust plant. PLANT 4 Not sure what happened but the untopped plant hit a major growth spurt. It's grown 7 inches in the last week, now standing at 24inches tall. The node spacing at some point got very large, this could be a nutrient issue starting to show. I usually have short stout plants even with untopped ones due to my light strength+distance and the nutes. This is re-used soil and it's only 4L/1gallon so the soil is pretty leeched. I did fertilize the soil, but as seen with my most recent harvest [planted at the same time as this grow] I didn't fertilize enough and it was too far into the grow to really remedy the effects. To recap, this plant is a strangely tall phenotype for this 'dwarf' strain. This particular plant also started with 3 branches at every node, starting with 3 cotyledons. The tri-nodes only appeared on the first few lower branches and it seemed to fix itself as it grew. So this plant isn't genetically sound, the height isn't all that strange. It also seems much slower at flowering. The topped plant [which should be behind due to topping] is further along in the flowering stage. Even in my last harvest though, the topped version was about 2 weeks behind. Due to the excessive growth, I bumped up the nutrients and haven't seen burn yet.
