I feel like they could be more light green in color but they are growing really well. Alaskan purple seems to be growing a little lower than the blueberry but I'll bet it's just the genetics. Overall haven't been feeding them water til the soil is dry on top with the ffof, and they seem to respond well to it with no discoloration or burns. Haven't used any nutes and don't plan to til the week of flowering or a week after depending on how the transplant goes. Will add more pics throughout the week, if anyone notices anything I'm missing feel free to spill the beans.

I transplanted the blueberry into a 1 gallon pot after 8 days of sprouting, I know it's a little early to be doing so, but it went well no roots were harmed in the making of the transplant. My seedling should recover right?

Yeah it might take a couple days for the roots to adjust if it is a different soil, but it will be fine. Nothing to worry about. Good luck with your grow!

Gonna start giving them cal mag in there feeding every other feeding. Blueberry is continuing to impress with her growth. Alaskan purple still a little behind but just as healthy as blueberry. Days 15-21 should be interesting and hopefully start to really implode in growth. Haven't had any problems in days from either of the ladies they seem happy and flourishing at this point.

Easiest week so far, no problems just growing. I did spray some neem oil on my soil a few days a go to keep pests out of the fox farm soil. Week 4 will bring in topping after the next node grows in, should be 2 or 3 days. Also towards the end of the week after she recovers from topping I will begin LST. Will provide pics throughout the week Posted first vid in real light not my 600 watt LED. Mainly for health purposes. This will be so interesting to see how blueberry will develop after an accidental FIMing lol. Personal Note: Wait to top when there is a full mainstem and not barely new growth. Meaning wait til the new growth has 2 fan leafs spread out, and not when they are just leafs barley sprouted from the main stem. Rookie mistake number 1 so far at the end of week 3. Or maybe time will tell if blueberry will be gracious enough to be a beautiful big buded tree. I read where FIMing can develop up to 4 extra colas and still grow beautifully. Fingers crossed.

Beginning of week 5 and I finally started to LST the lady's. Had to give time for blueberrys recovery from getting FIMed lol. To be honest I'm gonna let them grow another week and transplant week 6 into there final pots. So this week will be the start of a very long and dedicated process of maintaing a good canopy. Overall I think flowering should be 3 weeks away. Not trying to have a monster harvest on my first go around. My focus is to just succeed at my first grow and be proud of my personal stash at the end of this awesome journey. I plan on starting a new grow after this one so I know what to expect and plan bigger and better, this is more of a test run to see if I can grow good weed indoors. So far so good. Day 30- Topped Alaskan purple.

Transplanted them to there final pots, using fabric pots btw. Still using ffof soil to avoid transplant shock. Almost one hour after transplant they started drooping a little which I figured is normal. Letting them grow for one week then flipping them to flowering. Only watered them with distilled water with 2.25 mg of calmag with pH of 6.5

Day 43 and I shut her lights off at noon, and I'mma let her b without light til 7 in the morning so her first day I'mma let her go 21 hours without light then she will be on a full 12-12 schedule. Gave her last feeding with quarter dose of ff nutes yesterday so she can have reserved nutes for her transformation, her next two feedings will be with regular distilled water with 6.5 pH. Will still maintain the LST for the next few weeks til her branches harden. Don't have any pics for day 43 cuz I want her cut off from any light. Day 44 will have pics and will see how they responded to flipping the lights schedule throughout this whole week. All and all they are doing great and I will prolly start to defoliate next week.

This week has been good both plants are growing great with no problems in there transition to flower they jus started to stretch so I hung the 600 watt lamp at 24 in and will lower it as they flower but a very productive week so far. Gonna add nutes at the end of this week so they will have some nutes to fall back on when bud sites appear

Both the girls are doing very well and are continuing to stretch. No problems at all from either one of the plants. They deff started sprouting there pistols and where Alaskan purple fell behind in veg, she is now ahead in the flowering stage. The bottom leaves shrivelled which I am aware this will happen during this stage so I cut them off and there is a little nutes burm on Alaskan purple so the next two feedings will be with distilled water with pH of 6.5.

This week the girls have stretched for the last time then the fun will really begin with the buds blowing up. Alaskan purple has the frosty sugar leafs which tells me she will be more potent at this point of the grow cycle. Both of the girls are in good health but Alaskan purple has 2 leafs that look like nutes burn from the feeding last week of the ff nutes, so only distilled water this week to kinda flush her then back to nutes feeding, which will be perfect timing for buds to start coming in. Overall it's rained a lot where I live which has made humidity a problem so I got another dehumidifier for my room to help with that problem other than that this grow is on track for a nice harvest.

4 weeks into flowering the highest my humidity has reached 60 percent when it rains where I am located, when it doesn't rain it's at 48 percent. I know it should stay between 40 to 50 percent. My question is if my humidity hits up to 60 percent, chance of bud rot is what?

60% RH is not that bad tbh you just need to have proper ventilation and air circulation between the buds. So put your fans blowing in the canopy but not too strong so it wont damage them. (You can also direct the fan on the wall if it feels too strong to face the plants. Bud rot and any other mold stuff likes cold temps so during night it is more important to control the humidity but still shouldn't worry if basic stuff is okay in your tent 👌🏿

The budlets have fully developed and are now starting to fatten up. There hasn't been any deformed leafs or signs of nutes burn so the flush of distilled water from last week seemed to work so I'll b using 1/4 the the recommended dosage for there first feeding this week. Ap is really showing her purple color with the budlets and her sugar leafs. Blueberry is more potent smell so we will see what this week has in store.

A few lower leafs have yellows and shriveled but other than that both of the gals are looking good and the smell is finally started to kick in a bit. No problems at all and totally satisfied with there growth in bud size. Looking forward to this week and compare the difference.

One of ap colas fell and bent overnight due to the weight on her stem lol. Fixed the problem by using some tape and a support beam for her. Other than that they r both starting to stink up a lil bit and are growing healthy. Completely flushed them at the beginning of the week to wash last week's nutes out for fear of rootrot. Will give them nutes for there next feeding.

A lil nite burn shown on both of the ladies but they will be getting no more nutes they are in there final 2 weeks in my opinion and so they should be showing me amber tricombs anytime now.

The transplant should not be a problem at all.You can optimize the conditions in setiing up a humifidier. http://www.just4growers.com/media/23631/vpd_2degree.gif because the are developing much better, if you give them the right Rh according to the temperatrures and growstage

Just curious. How much did the blueberry stretch in flower?
DaddyPrime
DaddyPrimecommented5 years ago
@Manic, oh fuck! Lol mines already like 6 foot
Manic
Maniccommented5 years ago
@DaddyPrime, she stretched double her size from when she was in veg, I applied major low stress training on her through the 3rd week of flowering. I had to keep up every few days moving her branches.

Milky trichomes on both plants Alaskan purple already showing a little amber trichomes there harvest date is set for tomorrow. Only 8 weeks of flowering and they look great, wasn't expecting a monster yield for my first indoor grow but the buds look and smell great.

It's day 42, and I'm gonna give the girls a quarter of the recommended nutes before I switch her lights tomorrow. The reason is because they were transplanted with ffof soil which is already rich with nutes but I will be also adding the 2.25 mg of calmag as well. pH will be 6.5

I know it looks like I transplanted blueberry on the edge of her final pot, but it's from her intence LST. Her trunk is actually in the bottom of her lower nodes.

Maniccommentedweek 55 years ago
Fox farm trio finally got here. 2 tablespoons of big bloom 1 tablespoon of grow big 2.25 mlg of calmag Day 32 Last feed before transplant on day 36

Maniccommentedweek 45 years ago
I noticed that where I topped blueberry she started growing her main stem again so I think I FIMed her lol. The tips of Alaskan purples bottom fan leafs started to turn light green so I gave her some fresh distilled water with 2.25 mil of calmag with it. Ph was 6.4 and they both look healthy now so hopefully I fixed the problem.
Manic
Maniccommentedweek 45 years ago
Topped blueberry today and this was my first topping ever so everything from here will be a brand new experience. Blueberry has been growing at an alarming rate so far compared to Alaskan purple so hopefully topping blueberry will give time for Alaskan purple to catch up.

The littlest leafs on blueberry yellowed up and curled up. I figured it's the pH cuz I have been using the same gallon of distilled water for a week and I Kno it drops in pH as soon as you open it. So I pinched the little leafs off and went and bought a new gallon of distilled water and watered them asap. And won't water them again for 2 or 3 days, has this happened to anyone else's plants? And what was the answer to fixing it? I have cal mag but don't think it's time to start feeding them yet cuz they have been in fox farm ocean forest soil only 12 days, and I know they can survive on those nutes for up to 4 weeks. Any help would be appreciated. I will be adding a pic of the blue berry after I tore the littlest leafs off.
the end.
