Super excited for this next grow! I learned some valuable lessons from my first grow, so I plan on rocking this one.
Germinated 2 seeds, both popped. However, 1 came out very yellow. After researching, there could have been a few different reasons, but as long as the new leaves are green I should be fine. It's growing at the same rate as the green sprout so we shall see!!!
One plant recovering, but still possibly stunted, the other doesn't seem to be growing much. That was the one that was very yellow. It will be interesting to see how they continue to grow alongside each other.
Still growing, but still slow. It's crazy how the real stunted one is so purple already, and the other barely has any color.
Side note, my ppm is off the charts. Possibly from needed to add so much ph down? Wondering about getting a filtered water system...
picking up speed, smelling delicious!! Nothing weird to report other than I don't think they liked the lst very much, gonna just let them grow...Just got a pair of vivosun led glasses and they are perfect for working under the lights and taking pics!!!!
LST finally seemed to work on the bigger plant, getting a few new colas catching up. Smaller plant just keeps getting fatter and purpler. Gonna just let them both grow as-is and taking the ties off.
Chopped the little purple dwarf earlier this week, literally one big cola. 72g wet so ill be lucky to get an oz.
The other plant seemed like it had another week to go, probably chop tomorrow to make room in the tent.
Two major lessons with this one. 1. Don't use peat pots(the cardboard ones). The plants never rooted past the cardboard. Huge waste on many levels. Guess it was good to learn how to dwarf a plant on purpose for a future microgrow. 2. Wet trimmed which allowed the dry to go over a week which is twice as long as my last grow. Then skipped the 2-way humidity packs and the smells are waaaaaaaaay better. Will only use in the future if buds are overdried. All in all could've been a much better harvest, but learned some valuable lessons.
