sabalero420 First grow, so far everything is going well. In Argentina, summer hasn't ended yet, so they're going to have to endure some high temperatures. I'm going to leave them a few more days before doing the first transplant and starting with the feeding.

@sabalero Hi mate both plants seem to be suffering from nutrient deficiencies and I suspect its caused thru incorrect ph the 1st plant is lacking in nitrogen and magnesium whilst the other plant has the classic signs of a calcium deficiency You will need to adjust the feeds and waterings to around 5.9-6 then check runoff ph the aim is to be within the 5.8-6.2 range with coco

sabalero420 Well, this week was a total change. I switched the feeding to the entire top crop line. I did a watering of 500 ml with 1 ml of top veg, 1 ml of Green explosion, and about 0.50 of deeper and barrier. Two days later, I watered with 300 ml and 1 ml of top veg. For the next watering, I'm going to do it with 500 ml of plain water. Then I'll start over like with the first watering, just with 2 ml of top veg per watering, and maybe I won't use deeper anymore and add big one instead. Should I tilt it a bit more? I'm only going to do LST. I'm not going to do apical pruning. Cheers 🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷

Lack, excess, or is it the water? I watered with top veg Green explosion and big one. The pH was from 6.1 to 6.3. I also let the water sit in the sun for a few days, but I don't know if that was enough. It's also really hot.

I can see the light green color that is developing in between the veins of your leaves. This is the first sign of magnesium deficiency. It looks like you are growing in coco? If so you should be adding a cal mag supplement every feeding. This will clear up your issue. Good luck!

sabalero420 Well, the truth is that this week I just watered and didn't have many other problems. The plant that had excess I watered with 5 liters of water and didn't fertilize it. The others were watered with top veg and big one at pH 6.1.

sabalero420 Well, this was the last week of vegetation. Next week I will be uploading the first week of flowering. I transplanted 3 into 20-liter pots and left two in the 10-liter ones I already had. Regarding the fertilizers, I haven't harvested yet, but I already know I will never use top crop again. I used the chart provided by the manufacturer and it caused excesses. My fear now is that it will change the final taste of my buds. What do you all think? Good vibes!! 🇦🇷🇦🇷

sabalero420started grow question 6y ago
As you can see, I had excesses during the vegetative stage. They told me to do the entire flowering with just water, that if I kept adding products, the buds would end up tasting really strong. Is that true? I have the entire top crop line. And I'm thinking of doing a root flush.

Sorry to say but there's plenty of bad advice, in flower the plant needs a different NPK ratio as well as more calcium and magnesium than in veg, so you absolutely want to add those, you also need to help the plant break down these nutrients by using a chelation agent for example beneficial bacteria, enzymes or humic acid. So you always do want to feed three types of things : NPK with the proper ratio, calmag and the additives (chelation agent) . Keep it simple ! In veg NPK ratio should be something like 4:2:2 (more N), in flower it is 2:4:4 (less N) so you do want to switch your NPK. Feed NPK only every three waterings that means feed NPK only once every ten days minimum . For cal mag you can add it more frequently and for the additives that's every watering. For your last 2-3 weeks just water with plain water and you will have a smooth smoke. Hope this helps ! 🚀

sabalero420 This week I transplanted one more. There are 4 in 20 L pots and one in a 10 L pot. All next week I'm going to water only with water since they all have excess. The tips of the leaves are burnt. I'm going to wait for the buds to form before I start feeding.

sabalero420 This week I increased 1 ml more of all the fertilizers, reaching the maximum indicated by the manufacturer. For now, they still look healthy. In some buds, you can see that they are changing to a darker color. Theoretically, it should turn half purple. The smell it leaves on your hands when you touch the buds is incredible. Good vibes for everyone 🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷

It's only going to be two things. An Unopened cakaxy that will release its pistils soon or it is a seed forming inside a calayx. I squeezed something on my plant the other day I thought might have been a seed bit or was just an Unopened calayx. I wouldn't worry too much if it's the only one you can see.

sabalero420 This week I was able to get the product I was missing to have the complete diet that the manufacturer indicates. The results are visible. When the lights are off, the smell comes out from somewhere in the tent (it's in the patio in a gallery) and reaches the door of my house haha. I'm really not having any complications, I'm very happy. If anyone else can give me their opinion on the last question I asked, it would be a big favor so I can relax knowing it's nothing. sabalero420 Everything was going great, I have trips in the tent. So I started the root wash with one of the 5. I used 2 ml in 1l of flawless finish in distilled water, with 0 EC. In about 10 days, I’ll be cutting the first one. It’s a bit early maybe because some of the trichomes are just starting to turn amber, but I don’t have any bud! Wishing you good smokes!! 🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷

sabalero420 Well, this week I'm going to harvest the first plant. Today marks 11 days of root washing with the first one I started. 3 have been in washing for 6 days. And there's one that I'm going to feed for another week before starting the wash. I'll probably choose one of the 5 to weigh the total dry weight because as you can see, I've already cut some branches and it's going to be tricky to get the exact final weight. Good smokes 🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷

sabalero420 As I progress with the drying, I will update with more photos as well. In a week, I'll start a new diary. Good smokes! 🇦🇷🇦🇷 Update 09/07/2020 I’m very happy with my harvest. I think I’ve surpassed 200 grams. For my first time, I’m more than satisfied. I tried some buds that dried a little faster and I fell in love. I have several grower friends, and no one has ever produced something with this flavor. Even though it still needs another week of drying, it can already be smoked, and it’s a very smooth and creamy smoke with sweet notes. In a month, this is going to be a bomb 💣💥 Update 15/07 Today I weighed and jarred 150 grams. Not everything has finished drying yet. But I estimate the final weight will be a little over 200 grams. As for the smoke, some plants are much richer than others. Some buds have no flavor at all, while others have a very nice taste. Surely with the curing, their flavor will improve. 31/07/2020 Closing the diary, the final weight was 230g dry. Would I grow it again? Always. Midway through the cycle, I took a mother plant to clone and gave some to friends. The genetics stayed with my crew. Good smokes!
