A lovely strain to grow, but the effects, smell and taste are not my favourite. It has a strange nutty/coffee taste. The effects are energising, so for me it's a wake 'n' bake strain, but for such a high THC strain I don't feel very stoned, which I guess could be due to the THCV content, but maybe I need a tolerance break. It lacks the nice body buzz and warm glow I get from GSC, nor does it have the happy, mood elevating properties of Blue Dream, and it makes me feel more anxious than either of those, so my quest continues.

Nutrients
I struggled with BioBizz at first, needing to use higher quantities of Grow formula than suggested during vegetative stage, but since changing to a better light I'm needing to use less. I think the results speak for themselves and I'm so pleased with this line of nutrients that I'll be sticking with it for the foreseeable. I can really smell and taste the difference compared with hydro grown.
Lights
I'm extremely happy with this light, as it performs roughly on par with similar quantum boards costing considerably more. If I had completely filled my scrog instead of having to remove a male and leaving space, and had used all the same strain instead of some lower yielding ones alongside, I would have easily got more than 1g per Watt. Other things I’m noticing are that my plants are looking much happier in veg now, the terpenes are very stinky, there’s trichomes right to the tip of most upper leaves and the buds look beautiful. They always looked a bit sick and pale under my previous Cree COBs during veg after transferring from the clone room, but this time they were lush, deep green with no deficiencies and I’m using a weaker nutrient solution. I'm guessing this has something to do with the deep red and far red LEDs creating the Emerson Effect, and also the efficiency of Samsung 3500K LEDs. I cannot recommend this light highly enough.

A lovely strain to grow, very resistant to mould and loves being fed - drank twice as much water as the other strains I was growing. Very lanky and sparse during early veg, but stretched evenly and not too high during bloom. It grows a like a vine, so works well in a scrog. Responds well to defoliation at the ends of weeks 3 and 5 during bloom. Both phenotypes were easy to trim, but one hardly required any at all, which is always a bonus. Very floral/herbal smell during final weeks. Buds are very dense, hard, frosty nugs.

This is an amazing strain. I am pleased to see it’s available again as it was clone only back in the day w/ TGA. I am more familiar with pheno #2. Good luck and keep up the great work. Cheers

@HighAltitudeOrganics, I agree, your description is more accurate. Odie seems to know his stuff. Cheers.

@Sybarite, it’s killer stuff. My understanding is Odie was SubCools lead Breeder for TGA when the original work on QK began. Either way, thanks to Odie. As mentioned I have not run it before but have seen lab tests above 30% THC multiple times. Big fan of the sweet Irish kush lineage. Cheers

@HighAltitudeOrganics, thanks man, these were from seeds from Homegrown Natural Wonders. I understand the strain was developed by Odie Diesel and initially sold via the TGA brand before they parted ways. I haven't tried this strain yet, looking forward to vaping it.

@Blueboy2019, thanks mate, it's an Invisible Sun ISH530 Type R (version 1). I think they are hard to beat for the money. There's now a version 2 with extra blue (450nm).
