Looking pretty good. I got a heater in the tent so temps and humidity are looking better. Tent is looking pretty filled in. Watering is hard to do without getting water all over the leaves so in a week or two once they finish stretching and start to fill in I think I will take out the scrog and put in stakes instead.

Why are my leaf tips getting bleached still? I have the light 18 inches from the canopy which is what is recommended for veg, and that's only around 400umol/m2s but the leaf tips keep burning. Temps are low if anything, consistently between 65 and 75 farenheight.

I had a plant with a calcium problem that bleached under the lights but that was more complete yellowing. Calcium can cause that though it seemed weird. So that is out there. It does kind of look like nuet burn but is found on the top leaves closest to the light while the bottom seem unaffected, the opposite of what would be expected. So maybe add some cal-mag good luck

Any ideas as to what caused the leaves on 1 of the 4 plants to wilt up and kinda die? I was thinking maybe nitrogen toxicity but this is a full organic, water only grow, so nutrient toxicity is kinda unlikely. Also worth noting some branches were affected before, and more heavily

Like the others said. Light burn from what I see. And I know it's just the one plant out of four but she could just be a little sensitive. Flush and back off the LEDs or move the plant off to the side so it's not directly under the light.

... question, how did you start the no-till pots? You made the switch but didn't mention the pot switch... benefits? Thanks!

@420pete, Hi and thanks! I may try this type of setup for my next attempt... I like the idea of setting the nutrition at the beginning and letting it 'live'... So much talk of nutrition and fertilizer, hard to know what to use/not. Thanks again, Best!

@Growery, I mixed the soil at week 1 which is made up of peat moss, pumice for aeration, compost, and kis organics dry amendment blend. once everything was mixed I gave the soil a week or so to cool off and turned it over every other day as the organic matter breaking down makes the soil very hot at first. After it cooled to room temperature I put in in pots, planted the cover crop, and covered with barley straw for mulch. Once the pots were ready, I put in the clones which previously were growing in just peat moss with no nutrients. I would say the main benefits are 1) its fully organic so smoother and more flavorful 2) all you have to do is water- no need to worry about measuring nutrients and whatnot 3) the mulch/cover crop prevents evaporation so less watering and it keeps the microbes alive to fee your plant. hope you find this informative, keep up the good work!

What’s your opinion on KIS organics? I’m currently attempting to grow in KIS organics with biochar soil. Any advice ? What did you ph your soil at?

@Mrs420, honestly I'm not really sure yet. For me it seems like it might have a little too much nutrients off the bat because throughout the grow I noticed slight signs of nitrogen toxicity. I made my own soil mix though from their nutrient pack and I've only heard good things about their biochar mix so I think you should be good. Genererally you don't have to pH your soil with organics as the life in the soil acts as a pH buffer and will make sure the pH is in a good range.
