She is also Apparently very hardy and will handle anything you throw at her. March 21st update: soaking the bean in filtered water. I know I'm taking a risk only growing on of these regular seeds but I have good faith. March 23rd update. We have a tap root!!! Dam that was fast! Excited for this grow. March 24th. In coco with proper nutrients levels for seedling. March 25th. Nothing to report other then she's just under the surface and ready to poke out!! By the end of the day she will have broken soil 👍 March 26th update. As promised! We have lift off! Lol in 24hrs its not only broke soil but is about an inch tall already👀. April 16th update: note picture #4 very top. Did not get it all and caused the plant to stall out. April 15 I didnt see any growth, so before I went to bed I cut the top node completely off. My first time cloneing, kept it super simple. All I did was take the clipping and immediately dip the cut end in an aloe vera plant "leaf".. is it a leaf?? Anyways. And then plant and water with mild nutrients. Pretty simple.. well see how it works out. As for Kate. Well she is definitely a long lanky branchy bitch, haha but she's doing well. May 7th update: defoliated her about a week ago. I've been unable to keep up with the diaries as much as I'd like. Sorry y'all. Anywho Kate is doing very well! She likes being defoliated like my durbans and she can handle the strong AN nutrients I use! Big 👍 up so far from this strain 😁🌱 (note) first try at clones was aborted. I Pulled them out because I was curious to see if any progress was made.. I did 3 clones. Out of the 3, one started to grow tiny roots. The other two did not take, oh well. No biggie as I have started 4 new clones done a little better this time. I will start a new diary for the DP clones if your interested in following along. May 15th update: added kate to the tent in prep for flip to see if she is a she🤞 May 16th update: upped the nutes and amount I water. She is responding very well!! I have a serious problem with under watering:( lol.. I will be transplanting her soon as she has a ton of roots coming out the bottom of the pot. May 16th-17th: transplanted her to a 5gallon bucket. Rusticbuds Overall grow experience was very pleasant, did really do much to her apart from topping her. She grew long lanky branches with larg node spaceing. At every node space she grew very compact resinous bud that glistened under the lights, even her trim leaves were covered in that sticky goodness. She has a very unique smell to her. Can't even put a finger on it. Got a dry cured weight of about 6.5 ounces. Cheers all and happy growing 👌🏼
