Little early on the update, (although I will try to make it every week) but from here on out I think it might be a day by day inspection. I cut the Nutes back to 10 ml/L per 4 litres of water from ~20ml per 4L water, and knocked the lights down from 19 to 16 hrs to try and help them along. Out of the two plants the one that sprouted, germinated and flowered first, is almost done. The overall structure of the plant is very straight and to the point. The plant grew, put out the branches and budded pretty much in the same shape as it is now. The second plant was a late start, many leaves and branches and later finish. I never once pruned or cut leaves until the other day, always tucked fans if they were in the way and always LST. Most defiantly the second plant was a lot more vigorous than the first. That being said; these plants are approximately on week 8/9 of flowering and still very green. I cut off a few fan leaves (see photo) that were very crispy and brown (suspect LED’s and cal mag deficiency)just to kinda see what I’m working with. The second plant (slower) has a lot more bud structure and denser colas, although not done, defiantly a higher yield. The first, with a few dense buds are mainly resin filled with a lot more air between the bud sites. One of my led panels kicked the bucket during flowering so I purchased a full spectrum 1000w Samsung chip panel from ali express. Hopefully it will get here sooner than later because I have a new gen of early Miss starting. Chances are with the snail mail now I may be waiting a bit. This week is all about ripeness, although I can see the lower bud white pistols turning red the overall growth has pretty much slowed. What do you guys think? Cheers. I’ll be looking at buying a proper grow light for the next generation of Early Miss I started. Any suggestions for a decent grow light that won’t break the bank?

I’m also using spider farmer. Sf2000. It’s awesome. It’s super strong for my grow so I had to dim it. But look into them.

What do you guys think about harvest? I see a few ambers but not much (that’s what I want)how far you think? Is the fact that leaves are green still a problem? How about the crispy fan leaves? I think it’s too late in flower to fix it and just let her ride. Cheers.

It looks close, but I think it can get a little fatter. I see that you are still feeding nutrients. In soil it is ideal to do a 2 week flush of plain waterings to allow her to use up all of the nutrients in the soil. If you don't flush then it can give your buds a harsh smoke and bad flavor. I would start her now with a pretty heavy flush to wash out as much fertilizers and salts as you can. Then just give her plain water over the next week at least before chopping her. It would be better to run the flush for 2 weeks but you will be ok if you need to cut the flush a little short if the trichomes are ambering up too much. Congrats on your successful grow and upcoming harvest!

I’m thinking about harvesting the first early Miss today. Some of the tricombs look deflated( maybe I touched them) i left it for a week and flushed the hell out of it. The tricombs look milky to me, I haven’t seen any swelling or bud development in awhile. What do you guys think

Yes definitely harvest her!! By whTbjm seeing in your trichomes she is ready for harvest! You should black her out for 2 days to get optimal thc!! It really helps good luck 🍀👍

Any ideas why there wasn’t much root structure on this plant? It seemed to kinda just hug the surface. I let the soil dry out during watering, so I’m not really sure?

I think it might be a couple things but the first thing I noticed was the shallow and small pot size. Can't expect as much root in 1gal as in 3gal pots. The other thing I would suspect would be poor soil quality. In my first 2 grows I used poor soil and saw the smallest root systems of any grows I have completed. If soil doesn't drain well it's hard for cannabis roots to thrive.
