2020-03-22 (day 3): Starting her off on a windowsill by day, under grow light by night. She’ll be indoors for roughly 2 months, I’ll take some cuts and I’ll put her outdoors at the start of June, she should have like 4 months of veg, roughly 2-2.5 months flowering time. Not yet sure if I’ll put her in big pots or directly in the ground yet.

2020-03-29 (Day 10) Stretched a bit, 24 hrs of light is required as my basement is too cool for these little seedlings and I’m using a 100w cfl to supply heat. Light being used is a Chinese “1000w” LED. Once my other plants are done drying I will be putting these in my 2.5*2.5 grow room under 18/6.

2020-04-05 (Day 17) Moved her into my 2.5’*2.5’ grow room and now she’s reached her new temporary home in my 4*8 grow tent along with my other outdoor strains and some tomato seedlings. I will top and clip some clones and most likely do an outdoor mainline. This will be my second attempt at mainlining and first outdoors. I don’t need the massive trees I had last year, and I think I can maximize my yield and keep my plants a little shorter. May end up doing 1 monster but we’ll see. I introduced nutes this week and all the girls took them like champs! I'm now running my 2 600W Meizhi LED lights in my 4*4 space for all my girls. Stay tuned!

2020-04-15 (Day 28) Unsure how but I’ll admit it I must have overwatered the girls. I find it weird because I’ve started them in solo cups before and used the same medium (promix hp), same drainage holes in the bottom and sides and same watering practices. I guess this time the medium retained too much water and didn’t fully dry out. It had to be my practices that caused the fuck up as all my other strains from various breeders suffered to various degrees. Delayed growth for about a week and lost the first set of true leaves, but they appear to be bouncing back. I repotted into 2 gal buckets. Very shitty mistake but I’ll admit I made it. These girls are going to bounce back and I just can’t wait to get them in the ground under that sun!

2020-04-23 (Day 36) All the girls have bounced back and began to grow with serious vigour! I topped her, cleaned up her lower growth and tied her down initiating the mainlining process tonight. The two new mains were still quite small but man they exploded in growth in one day. I topped her twice at the same time and am attempting at cloning the two tops I pulled. This is my first attempt at cloning and we’ll see how they turn out. I plan on getting a ton of tops when this mainlined girl is set outside in my flower bed in June. Still 3.5 month of veg left and I want to try and keep her under 6ft tall, we’ll see how that turns out. Stay tuned!!

2020-04-30 (Day 43) Shes nearing horizontal and has symmetric node spacing, perfect for mainlining. She seems to be showing a calmag deficiency similar to my purple lemonade in my previous grow. Its weird as of all 14 strains I'm growing only this girl and my OGKZ from Humbolt are showing this deficiency. I've boosted the calmag for this girl and hope it stops these rust spots from progressing. This girl has been loving the outdoors the last couple days as its been over 15C after noon each day and I let her bask in the sun. 31/2 more weeks and she'll be out there for the rest of her life. PS Home Depot pails suck as pots and are super fragile. Really digging the fabric pots I bought and I'll be using hem for vegging from now on.

2020-05-05 (Day 48) She’s still growing great and symmetric. Calmag deficiency seems to be fixed for now. A couple more days and I’ll top the two new mains to start speeding out the mainline more. She still periodically sees the sun and I know she can’t wait to stay out there. She’ll be transplanted into a 22 gal plastic pot outdoors after the may 24, I’ve began prepping the soil this weekend. Stay tuned!

2020-05-12 (Day 55) Tied her down some more and began to spread out the new mains. I’ll top the four symmetric mains in another week, growing them out a bit further to pull some clones from the tops. Growth slowed this week as temps plummeted as I was busy in the hospital having the greatest day of my life! Baby boy was born on The weekend!! He’s perfect and the best thing ever. I unplugged the heater before I left as I didn’t want to leave the fire hazard on. Spreading this bitch out nicely. Canada Fuck Yeah🇨🇦🇨🇦

2020-05-19 (Day 62) The big day has come! Transplanted on may 17th into her final home, the bottom half of a 55 gallon drum. Didn’t have a chance to pick up any Gaia Green 4-4-4 or Blood Meal yet but I will this week and top dress. The soil this year is a 50/50 mix of Promix HP and soil from the cows barnyard, kind of was worried about some burn from the mix being too hot but knock on wood everything looks good so far. Last year I solely used Promix HP and GHE nutes. It got quite cumbersome as the media dried up nearly every or every other day and I used so much nutes. I’m going to flush this week then transition to Gaia. This girl nearly had a flawless transplant, lost 1 fan lead but could be much much worse. Temps are a little cool at night and frost is not 100% out of the question so I’m checking every night for the time being and I’ll cover if it’s in the forecast. Likely by the end of the week I’ll be topping again and I’ll be up to 16 new colas, I’ve never mainlined outdoors before but I’m thinking I’ll maintain 32 colas on one girl and try for 64 on another. Stay tuned and see what the sun can do!🌞🇨🇦

2020-05-25 (Day 68) Bruce Banner #3 is loving this sun. Worries have shifted from frost to heat and water as we just went through a hot dry week and we have another week of +30C forecasted. I’ve been watering daily with straight tap water. I went to my local hydro store (40 min drive) to get some Gaia Green to top dress and they were completely sold out of dry amendments. I really don’t want to use liquid nutes again as mixing up 10 gallons every 2-3 nights is extremely taxing and time consuming. I’m going to try and get some but in the mean time of a deficiency begins I will supplement with my liquid GHE nutes for the time being. I topped her again yesterday and now we’re at 16 colas. Hopefully by the next update we’ll be at 32, she’s just behind her Girl Scout Cookies 🍪 sister. Some of the other strains I started at the same time as this girl (not diaried) are so tall. Next summer I hope to try and grow these bad boys with just a bit of LST and see how big and bushy they can get. Stay tuned and watch this girl veg for a coupe more months!

Just noticed this! Is this an early pollen sac? Weird location middle of branch between nodes, still have months of veg to go. Could this just be stress induced going from the cool dry indoors to humid extremely hot outdoors?

I had some male plants and this looks like a pollen sac to me; and yes probably it is stress induced. Try pinch it off, if the plants hasn't shown any other signs of male preflowers, chances are its still gonna be female. I had one that did the same, produce one single pollensack when it wasn't even ready for preflower and I just pinched it off - now female preflowers evreywhere! Hope this helps and good luck!!

2020-06-01 (Day 75) This girl just loves the sun! The huge fan leaves really emphasize the praying 🙏 this girl does when the sun shines 🌞. Can’t tie her down quite as low as her Girl Scout Cookies sister do to the girth branches but I’m trying to stretch her out while being extremely cautious not to snap one of her branch as I’ve had bad luck this year. Topped her now for 16 colas and by the end of the week it’ll be time to watch her really grow. Likely one more round of toppings to occur, her last tops that I cut started to have asymmetrical node spacing so I think I’m soon done. Still no nutes since put outdoors and knock on wood no noticeable deficiencies yet. As you can see in my “grow question” I found one tiny ball (upon further inspection 2 balls). I’m going to chuck this up as stress induced but now I’m going to have to be super vigilant, especially come September/October. Drastic temp swings, +33 C and no rain for a week to 8 C and rain. Stick around and watch this hulk explode!

2020-06-08 (Day 82) A couple more days and we’ll be at 64 tops. Same number of tops as her GSC 🍪 sister currently but I think we’ll leave her there. Between the increasing asymmetric node spacing and 2 balls I found I don’t want to induce anymore unneeded stress on her. For having the same number of tops as the GSC she is way bigger, I can’t imagine the stretch she’ll endure. Beauty weather and beauty growing conditions, a little dry but I’ve only had to water a couple times so far, nature’s done the majority. Still no nutes and no visible deficiencies. This plant is a true beauty!

2020-06-15 (Day 89) Well we’re at 64 tops! This is a biggggg bitch and it’s going to be hard to refrain from topping any more but I think I will get her to 128 and stop her there. If everything goes as planned she’ll be mainlined to 128 colas which her sister GSC at 256. What I’m picturing for flower is 128 2’ tall thick trich covered colas. Still no nutes but I’m implementing some dry nutes this week. Water with straight tap water every second day as she’s been consistently dry. I ran out of wire, must buy more!🌳🦆

2020-06-23 (Day 97) It’s been a extremely hot, high 30s with humidity and zero rain. I’ve been watering every 2-3 days and finally introduced some dry nutes. Local brand 9.5-9.5-9.5 that are labelled as bloom nutes but with those ratios I’m using them for veg. Still at 64 tops and I’ll let veg for likely 2 more weeks now until I top for 128. I need the new mains to grow longer so that I can get adequate spacing to ensure my sea of colas have adequate spacing. Side by side this girl looks nothing like her girl scout cookies sister yet they’ve both been trained to the same number of tops, 64. She’ll likely get 1 more round of topping and we’ll leave it at that!

2020-06-30 (Day 104) It hasn’t been quite as warm as it was during the last post, but heat and no rain in the forecast which the girls love (as long as they’re watered). She’s loving life and growing. I tied down more of her mains to open her up, I need to spread these colas out to prevent mold from the congestion later on down the road. Asymmetric node spacing has finally started so I think it’s safe to say we’re going to end this at 64 tops and not go further. I’d hate to waste all the work and this awesome strain by losing it to the elements. She’s tall and uniform! I’m shocked as she displayed unsymmetrical node spacing early on compared to her GSC sister. 🍪 Stay tuned and watch her grow now!!

2020-07-08 (Day 113) Heat wave is back in full force, supposed to be near 40 C with e humidex the next couple days. I rarely need to water this girl and she has not once dropped from being under watered. Came home from work yesterday to find her and the other two potted sisters drooping just begging for a drink. Gave them some straight tap water from the hose and within 15 minutes they perked right back up. Hard training is more or less done, most likely just some lst from here on out. She keeps praying and just stretching towards the sky. This thing really impressed me and is beginning to outshine her GSC sister Just wait for this hulk to stretch!

2020-07-15 (Day 120) We had a relief from the heat and dryness with a misty cooler weekend. Just enough rain all weekend to wet the ground so nothing major. The girls still needed water near every second day. Still nute free and showing no deficiencies. I’m letting this girl do her thing from here on out, just may do more lollipopping and defoliating to promote air flow. I need to train like this in our climate do to our cold, wet falls and the fucking mold. She’s stretched way more than her GSC sister, stay tuned to see the hulk bulk up! 💪

2020-07-24 (Day 129) This girl and her GSG sister have cow manure mixed in and this is the first week I’ve added nutes. Leaves weren’t yellowing but I felt that overall the plants were pale throughout, especially compared to her clone. From here on out I’m more or less letting her do her thing. I’ll likely have to add supports once she starts bulking up with flowers. I’ll also have to move her and her GSG sister in my yard once flowering initiates as the sun will be blocked more by my hedges come that time. It’s been sunny and warm with little rain, so far knock on wood an amazing summer for growing outdoor. Stay tuned, flowering is just around the corner!

2020-08-06 (Day 142) Not much to add, we’ve had a break from the dry heat and it rained a couple days this week. I feed this girl usually about once a week, the soil mix is really holding up and I’m impressed. She’s not flowering yet but she should be soon! She’s getting pretty tall now! All measurements are from the soil to the top of plant, not measured from the ground.

2020-08-23 (Day 159) Great week for the outdoor girls! As stated last week I was gone for a week and I had the girlfriend feed only water and everyone took it like a champ. But the work trip was worth it, got some good overtime and on top of that, picked up a 20kg bag of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 since no one near home carries it. As of posting this I gave all my outdoor girls 1.5 cups of each which should eliminate the need for feeding liquid nutes from here on out! Super stoked 🤟 to get these nutes! Referred to me by my bro’s @hellishjam and @GreenHouseLab 🇨🇦 Calling this week one of flower as she’s putting off tons of hairs now! It’s been extremely humid lately and rainy, my indoor has began getting some powdery white mildew and I’m waiting for my outdoor to start. It’s bad in my area and I suffered last year on 1/2 of my outdoor strains. I’m hoping to pinpoint the most mold resistant strains so I know what to plant outdoors in the future on a larger scale. If these turn out anything like @budxs’s BB3, I’m in for a huge treat! Stay tuned!

2020-09-06 (Day 173) Deficiencies have diminished, Gaia Green must be kicking in. Top dressed them for a second time and added some soil to fill the pots a bit more. I should mention as it’s still early flower the last 2 feedings (only times fed Gaia) were 1 1/2 cups mixed 50/50 of Gaia 4-4-4 and 2-8-5. Fall popped out of nowhere and it’s been cool and damp. Had 1 major windstorm and I just got the girls all tied up around 6 ft up. Not a lost branch! PWM has began on the majority of my plants and I sprayed early with 60/40 water/milk and a tablespoon of vinegar. Will hit again next dry day.

2020-09-22 (Day 189) Bulking up even more and she’s been through 3 frosts this week. After each frost I blew her off with my leafblower. Weather has turned for the better and the last 2 nights were more mild with no dew. Rain ahead but I’m still hoping to push her until mid October. This plant may be beastly but she is the most susceptible to WPM of all my strains. I’m switching this week to ACV 10ml/quart instead of the milk mixture. Stay tuned, she should finish in 3 weeks or so!

2020-09-30 (Day 198) Almost the absolute worst weather for our area for dope this time of year. 3 frosts and now a week of dampness and rain. All my girls have at least 90% cloudy trichs and either 10% amber or clear. My chopping schedule is now not trich related it’s based on who’s suffering from WPM the worst and who’s got the fattest colas more susceptible to rot. Therefore Dutch auto is in the midst of being chopped as it’s got the fattest colas and some WPM. Next will be BB3 as she’s getting hit hard by WPM. After that it’ll be GG4, which will suck balls as it is just a monster bush. Then either GSC or Purple Berry, both of which seem pretty resistant to the mildew. Purple Berry may be last since it is in the best spot for airflow.

2020-10-07 (Day 205) Trimmed up my Bruce Banner #3 over the last couple days. -I trimmed fan leaves while the plant was still intact, -then cut branches and debudded them, -Buds were then wet trimmed with a bowl trimmer -Buds were then washed in 1cup H2O2 : 5 gallon water solution, -Buds then rinsed off in pure water. -put on drying rack in tent and humidity controlled at 55%-60% with dehumidifier, temp at 65F and two fans running, -after about 4 days buds were put in air proof 5 gallon pale to cure. Original Sensible Seeds’ Bruce Banner #3 may be a powerhouse and I’ve seen how amazing the indoor can turn out, but it’s not perfectly suited for our damp outdoor climate. Mainlining was a great experience, resulted in some massive colas! This strain produces looser nugs that have a very distinct aroma. 6/10 on the mold resistance scale as there was some severe WPM even though airflow was not an issue. The smallest yielding of my outdoor photo periods still managing to bring in 674g (dry) and am super happy with the yield. I will update taste and effects soon once cured for a bit. All in all this thing was the easy to grow, no broken mains and the mainline worked very well. Constant mold mitigation makes me not recommend this strain for Outdoors in our climate, but I still have to run this hulk indoors. I will update smell, taste and effects.
