This is my second attempt this year. Started a little early and my shoot became a too leggy. Started again which was annoying. Bringing it indoors at night as temperatures drop to 40F at night. Just feeding with standing tap water for the moment. Plenty of nutrients in soil for now. Will be feeding with compost tea in future.

So far a good week. I'm happy with the progress of my learning. Been some great weather at the moment so plants a soaking it up. Still cold at night, maybe colder due to the clear skies. I firmly believe it's just a plant. Like all plants, they learn to adapt... I think? Please tell me what you think? Dont have full measuring equipment. Only a temperature sensor. However, as my experience grows I will invest in better equipment.

Hello fellow growers, as a newbie I am trying test myself of knowledge and intuition. I've seen a couple of growers using a dandelion tea as a foliar spray. Can anyone tell me the benefits of this method, if any?

Hi @BraveheartGenetics Dandelions are high in antioxidants, vitamins and minerals, including vitamins A, C, D, E, & B complex, calcium, potassium, magnesium, iron, zinc, manganese, copper, choline, and boron. Although the root, leaves, and flower are all used, it is the root that seems to be Foraged edible dandelions flowers and greens with jar of dandeli most effective for medicinal purposes. It is consumed in various forms, including an extract, tea/coffee, wine, ale/beer, leaves (in a salad), powder, or capsules. The ground root can be roasted and used as a replacement for coffee, as it provides natural energy and even has a similar taste. In addition to being a natural stimulant, it is also an excellent diuretic, and has lots of potassium, which can be lost with other types of diuretics. It is therefore often used as a detoxifying agent. Good luck mate 👍

Hey all, sorry I missed a week but have been enjoying the sunshine and so have the plants. Really perked up the last couple of weeks and I think they enjoy the dandelion tea I made recently. Had really good growth nearly double the size since last entry. Realised I was watering too much so was more patient this week. Temp has dropped again so will have to invest in a heater this week. Hope you like the progress

Hi Brave, healthy looking plant you have there 👌 Once the white pistil hairs appear, you can start adding flowering nutes - I usually do a fluent transition to flowering nutes.

Hey all, hope you're all well? So this Barney kid is doing well. Finding it hard to control and temps and humidity in the greenhouse. Especially at night as it still drops pretty low here. Have taken an average of all levels throughout the days. It's a learning process tbh. As you can see I have reported her into my 30l pots I had ready. Mix of westland compost ( which tbh isn't of great quality, few polystyrene balls in there. Tried to remove as many as possible). Thia apparently is ready fed so we'll see how this goes. Still using my dandelion tea for watering. Have put quite a lot of perlite into the mix, maybe around 20-30%. Now, this may have been a mistake but thought stress all at one time is better than stress throughout. I have also topped and pinched in a couple of places. Not sure if the right thing to do but believe it was time to start training. Tell me what you think as your input is important. ✌️🌱💚

Hello all, hope you're all well? So I've done quite a lot this week. She recovered well from the topping and grew another 10cm. Even though it has been cold at night the days have been very good apart from one. I gave her a little boost with some generic 7-7-7 garden fertiliser this week. Noticed a huge difference in the colour of the leaves. Think I'll continue to do this now and then when my dandelion tea isn't doing its job. I attempted some LST this week. I was a little rough with her and snapped one of the cola points off at the stem ( excuse me if this is the wrong term for it) but we will see if she survives that and a bit of defoliation. Took a few lower fan leaves off so light can penetrate. Left the large middle ones on so it can soak up as much light as possible. I believe she is healthy and doing well but can never be sure of my expertise. Let me know your thoughts as I'm still learning.

Hey all, hope you're well? So I'm a little late with the update this week. Been a little preoccupied with personal stuff but it's definitely not two weeks that have passed... Had a good week, good growth. Was around the 58cm mark but I have topped again at a few points and brought the height down a little from that to 54cm. She showed her sex this week too so happy with that but had no doubt as the genetics are sound. Got a couple of issues on the condition of some leaves but I'm not overly worried. Have put photos of the problems up there. I would appreciate your feedback on those. The rest of the plant seems healthy so it's for my own knowledge. I have also moved her so she has more space to grow. Couple of leaves were getting bruised by the test itself due to being pushed against it. My humidity and temperature still fluctuate dramatically throughout the day and night. Usually 99% in the morning. Goes down to 20-30% during the day. Fairly wet weather so staying ok at the moment. Temperature isn't as high as it has been but it now warmer at night. Please dont hesitate to give feedback... I like to hear opinions to gauge my knowledge. ✌️

Hi all, thank you for visiting. She is very happy at the moment. Did some defoliation and major topping on all stems. Still growing strong. Been very hot this week. Getting too hot in the tent but nothing I can think of to do anything about. Is what it is. Can't see any major problems but if you notice anything, don't hesitate to mention in the comments... Stay safe everyone ✌️

Hi all, thank you for visiting. Not a lot to report this week. Been a lot cooler this week. Think she has liked the reprieve... grown a massive 15cm this week so I'm happy with that. Starting to fill out again after her defoliation. Have turned the pot to give you different angles of her but she is growing three ways but one. Bit flat on one side. Should I cut away the lower branches? Remove the first node? Been thinking of this for a while but been unsure whether to do it or not. Let me know peeps ✌️

Hi all, thank you for visiting my diary. I'm very happy with her progress at the moment. Had to put in a little support as the tops were flopping over a little. As you can see she is very health. After reading an article on VPD, I'm reassured that her colour and leaf texture are all good. Untested, just the look and feel of them. Look fairly waxy 🤷‍♂️🏻 She getting rather big now. Obviously I started her too early and I'm going to end up with a monster come flowering. Think I need to perform some major LST soon. Maybe construct a screen net to separate the tops too. Plus some more topping involved. Getting close to summer solstice so need to start think of that soon. Please comment your thoughts. Stay safe out there ✌️

Well she is turning into a monster. Nearly a metre tall now, sucking up so much water. I should probably give her more but been giving her what she needs till soil dries. Was going to do a make shift scrub next with some bamboo canes. Haven't got round to it yet as been too busy with other projects. Can't wait till she starts to flower. Might give her a wee bloom boost to help her along. Maybe some more grow nutes but not a lot. She is looking healthy. Need to work at my ph better. Take car all ✌️

Hi all, thank you for visiting my diary. Huge growth this week. Not been great light as bad weather here and mostly cloudy. Staying at an acceptable temperature though and not dropping too low. Added some more nutrients this week. Full 60g but I split it between grow nutrients and bloom nutrients. Give her a head start for when she flowers. Got a couple of fan leaves showing yellowing and deformation that u dont recognise. Was there before I added nutrients. Need to give her a good defoliation before flowering starts. Take care peeps ✌️

Hi troops, Should I be seeing pistols by now? She is still growing strong and looks healthy apart from a couple of leaves. Still the right sex and no balls anywhere. I'm just worried nothing will happen when its supposed to.

Hey brave, This far along you should at least be able to see some preflowers...but you'd need to get some nice clear close ups of where the nodes are. But it may be that you won't tell for sure until the light hours decrease a bit more. My outdoor typically doesn't start showing me much until the end of july.

Hey all, having my share of problems with technology. Maybe it doesn't like being ignored. Will only let my upload one photo. As you can see by the picture, she is getting big. I've had to cut them both down a bit as they were reaching the top of the greenhouse. Not enough space for flowering. I still think she is a little high as I've learned she can grow 50-100% in flowering. Might lose some finished bud to rot if I'm not careful. Still and always learning. She is happy. Got her lollipoping nicely. Stem at bottom is over an inch think. Leaves are healthy and cant see any major problems with her condition. Hope this finds you all well and thank you for visiting. I'll try and be a little more vigilant when it comes to updating my diary.

Hey everyone, just an update on how my babies are doing. Although I'm not sure I can call her a baby anymore. She's a beast. Apologies again for my lack of enthusiasm at the moment but dealing with head fuckery at the moment. As you can see she was due a watering. Have noticed some yellowing of new growth as you can see in the last pic but I have a feeling it not getting enough nutes due to the size. Wish I'd known it would get that big as I think it needs a larger pot. Don't want to risk it the now incase i shock her. Would love your input on how she is doing or advice on how to improve her condition

Hi everyone, thank you for visiting my diary. Not a lot to report again this week. Seem to still have some bits dying of which I'm sure is down to my water ph or maybe the plant is getting too big for her pot. Too late to do anything about it now I think. Still not into flowering but long days still going on. November or there abouts looks like possible harvest. I'm taking the leap and going to invest in some decent equipment. Give both my girls what they deserve. Mycelium happening nicely after their feed. Gave her a mix of grow and bloom nutrients, biased on the bloom but we'll see how this goes

Hi everyone, hope you can help. I've noticed a few issues with her. My PH hasn't been great. A little too alkaline sometimes. Should I put her into a larger pot or is it to late for that?

Hello brownies, hope you're all well. Just a wee update on the beast. She is doing just fine now. Got some leaves dying off at the base of canopy which is to be expected. She has had her last feed a few weeks ago so maybe a wee boost with the PK Booster will help when it turns up. Looking forward to this now. 23 weeks is a long time to wait I think...lol ✌️

Unfortunately, due to the weather my crop suffered fatally from bud rot. 90% was ruined to high humidity. Something I couldn't really help. She was looking good till the weather change and will have to test her properly under lights when I get round to updating my setup
