Hi @Rikikush the plant is growing well, and appears to be healthy. but what are these white spots?

Does anyone know what the problem might be? Should I be worried or not? (The white spots are diatomaceous earth), I didn't check the pH, could that be it?

Hi @Rikikush these small burns are effects of changes in ph. fertilizers tend to lower the pH of the water slightly, when irrigating with normal water it has a higher PH. it is these variations that affect it a little. try to get a PH reader pen, on the aliexpress website you can get one for 20 $ -30 $, it is a great help. besides, your plant looks great to me. good luck mate 🙏👍

Rikikush I'm letting everything flow, I stopped fertilizing to let the plant rest until the flowering stage (since my organic fertilizers take 15 days to be assimilated by the plant), these days are still cloudy but VILMA keeps growing, how do you see her? Has anyone harvested one in 5.5 liters? I can't find many diaries with this amount of liters in pots.

It's ok. But you said that organic fertilizers takes 15 days to be assimilated but to keep a constant level you shouls give nutreints more often because the plants needs will be more important during the stretch (early flowering )

My last job, Gorilla Girl was planted in 5.5 pots. As for your decision, knowing that the strain you’re growing is autoflowering, and based on my experience with them, you’ve made the best choice. Autoflowering strains are genetics that are crossed with ruderalis... I won’t bore you with details, what I mean is that their growth cycle is destined to be just a few weeks, regardless of the climatic conditions, which I think is a good choice because for root formation in a short time, it’s one of the best sizes. If we were talking about feminized or regular seeds, it would be a different story. But in your case, luxury, and it looks quite nice, I hope it stays that way and soon the pre-flowers will show up.

How do I see it : with my eyes ! How do plant grows : thanks to the roots they are feeding and thanks to the upper parts they are breathing ! Ok it's not even funny so they are healthy even if I think they are a bit light green so as you are in the 1st week of flo she'l need an extra Nitrogen to achieve the stretch without any deficiencies , a feeding with veg nutrients should be enough. Your plants seems to grow without issue , the stretch is starting so they should double in size before you'll see the first buds

She is looking healthy and you'r starting the full flowering process so you can give bloom nutrients. I can see something white on your leaves , I suggest you to stop foliar spraying when the plant is starting to form buds to avoid any bud rot issue

Hey gardener, my old roommate grew 9 white widow in his darkroom and he ended up with one that was completely crap, no crystals and only got the girls high, so it happens sometimes, but at the same time if you want to go faster than the music, you won't be able to dance. Good luck my buddy!

Rikikush The Vilma plant doesn't respond the same way as it is; being the same age, it's skinny but produced more resin, while R+ has fat buds.

Hey gardener! If you're talking about how much you can harvest, it depends, but small pots mean small yields, so I'm thinking at least 20g per plant. If you're asking about how much time you have left before harvesting, well, wait until you have 90% white crystals for a good high. Good luck to you, bella ciao!

Hola! I see its only 5.5l pot you are growing in and you are maybe half way through flowering. If I had to guess I'd say anything between 30-50g coulb be possible to achieve with this plant. This is just my opinion and the density of the buds has alot to do with the overall yield an all so its just a hunch. 👌

Rikikush I think this is her last week, what do you all think? Indica genetics but one has come out with a sativa phenotype, do you think it's possible for Vilma to bulk up in her last days? This plant has had a supercrop applied.

it also seems to me that you gave foliar spray too early with diatom earth, the plants in the first weeks are little resistant to any type of insecticide even natural like neem oil. I think you should let the plants gain more structure before applying diatom earth. at first you should just give them a bath with some pest prevention product like the bio bizz leaf coat or canna cannacure. these burns on the leaves can be the effect of diatom earth. good luck mate 🙏 👍 😎

Rikikush commented6y ago
@OGgrows, yes, I think I applied it too early because I had a thrip infection, it's already under control, this problem plus the pH that I didn't regulate could have caused that, thanks for explaining it to me, anyway my plant looks strong and grows fast, I don't think I should worry too much about this?

@Rikikush,yes, it is not serious even to be concerned, they recover well. it is better to have the plant protected from bugs than to have the plant exposed to pests. good continuation mate 👍 🙏

I also used Diatomaceus earth as a foliar spray and it works well ...... But after getting many many people suggesting I had powdery mildew drove me nuts 😆 having to explain the DE so I stopped using it that way. I still sprinkle it on the surface once a week
