Purple punch and mandarin sunset are probably 2 weeks away from finishing up. Just started to flush them. They are just caked with trichomes. Smells like cereal milk HEAVY! Everything else has about a month or so left I would say. They are fed 2-3 times a week. I may defoliate one last time. Some of the lower buds have a lot of potential, but are being blocked by fan leaves. Still can't believe this is my first time... I won't speak too soon, but if they keep at it at this rate, I'll be the happiest person on earth!

Soil is 3 parts Roots organic og,1 part FFOF,1 part perlite, light bat guano, and microbes to the rootzone. I have calmag that I'll be adding to my feed but nothing else until I grab the nutrients I decide on. Safe to say I can go this short time (2 days) without added nutrients?

Safe to say that your soil mix will last at least for 2 weeks even 3 as it will contain enough nutrients for that period thanks to the Ocen frest and the guano ( I don't know about roots organic ). You can add only water during the next 2 weeks

I'm about a week into veg, plants look to be about 4-6 inches tall. Most are going into their 4th node. Should I wait longer or is now a good time? Also, should I wait for all plants to be at around the same stage or should I top the ones that are ready first?

Hi @facingbacktofront wait for the fifth or sixth node. the plant needs to be well developed for the stress of the top, top too early can block the growth of the plant and delay it a lot. good luck mate 👍

I'm thinking of light burn or nute burn. On new growth and just at the tips. Not all the plants, probably on 1/4 of them. Watering 3 ml/gal cal-mag, 0.5 tspn/gal Epsom salt. RO water. 450 ppm. 17 Days into veg. Lights 630watt fluence at 28 inch at 70%. Lowered now to 50% at 35 in

A light stress/burnt would have been different with some burned spot on the leaves . What I can see is burning tips and yellowing that is starting from the edges of the plant so it could be related to an excess or a deficiency

When it comes time to trim and there's a large amount to work on, how do you store the untrimmed cannabis? Do you just jar them up and put them to cure (after they hang dry), then start trimming as you go? I'm just worried about losing quality if it takes me 1-3 weeks to trim.

if its about drying is a few tips here After harvesting, dry the buds at approx. 58% - 62% humidity, and a temperature of 19 - 21 celcius. After about 7 - 12 days, before the stalks crack, the buds come in glasses, not in plastic bags. The best thing to put in the glass is a Boveda moisture pack with 62%. The first 2 weeks, put it out for 5 minutes every day, back into the glass but not pressed but rather loosely, and back into the dark :-) No light should come on. After another 2-3 months you can put the Boveda Pack 58% moist in the glass, and from now on enjoy the delicious harvest 🙏🏻😍

Wondering if the amount I've already defoliated is enough for "pre flip". Looking to go 12/12 in about 3 days. I would say I've trimmed about the lower 1/3. There are some grow sites that are still small/thin that are under the canopy. Are those usually trimmed?

Hello.. Hope you are well.. Because she is not large in height i wudnt trim her any more.. Personally i wud leave all leaves on unless they showing signs of fatigue(old n dulling out/yellowing).. Any trimming will force her to stretch.. At most i wud take afew leaves from lower centre just to help air pass thru her easier n help keep potential bud sites cool.. Stay safe n gud luck.. 👍🍀

I will give answer to this one too! 😂 I would defo lot harder at this point if your plants don't seem to mind a little stress. You can take a lot more from the bottom and maybe take few of the biggest leaves on top that are covering lower sites. At this point your plant will produce a lot of new leaves and the ones that stays in are getting bigger so you can remove quite a bunch with no problem! When you do the 21 day defo then you should remember that the plant wont grow anymore new leaves and you don't want to take too much anymore 'cos the plant needs the leaves tho.

doing it early just means you have to do it a second time in a 2-3 weeks. time it with the last ~14 days of growth after lights flip. For my genetics, they typically stop growing by day 21 after lights change. So, 7-10 days in i defoliate. Not enough time to grow ginormous leaves up top again, but enough time to develop some to power bud developement in that area.

Should I feed before or after flipping to 12/12? Not sure if it matters too much, but definitely want to do what's best for the girls. Aside from feeding, do you defoliate right before the flip or right after? Planning to do another defoliation 21 days into flower.

When flipping I hold back my nuits, then take off 1hr per day until at 12/12. The day they are on 12/12 is when apply the bloom nuits. Gives her time to get what she needs from the growth nuits. You do need to open up that canopy a bit. Get the light to lower branches. I personally think defoliate before as want the branches to grow out a bit before goes into a stretch.

Hello.. Hope you are well.. Small amounts but regular defoliation is not really harmful for most plants, not all appreciate it tho.. Personally i like to make sure she has enuf nitrogen in her still for thr first 2wks of flowering as to keep her shinny leaves and let her grow still during her stretch phase.. At 14days of 12/12 i start with my bloom feeds.. Always remember.. Less is best with food.. Overfeeding can and will lead to lots of problems that by the time she's recovered its time to harvest.. Better to not even go their!!.. Stay safe n gud luck on ur gardening.. 👍🍀

When I water, I run 2 gallons of Ro water through every plant. I let them sit and drain for about an hour then I proceed to water them again, but this time with nutes (1100 ppm/6.4 ph). Let them drain, then they go back into the tent. Is that a waste or not? I have no issue.

You're getting good results with your current practice, so if you enjoy doing it that way I don't see a problem! That being said, a well managed grow with decent quality nutrients should not have to be flushed frequently (or at all) to produce good results. And it would not need it before every fertigation. So if it's taking you more time than you would like to spend, or costing you more in nutrients than you would like spend, you could adjust and not flush before fertilizing and probably save some time and money. But since you are getting nice results with your plants currently you don't have to change anything you don't want to! I am sure you're going to end up with a great harvest, happy growing! 🌱👍

I wouldn’t use gravitron again. It’s got paclobutrazol in it. I don’t even know why it’s a product being sold on their site. These buds look absolutely killer but they are also cancerous
