Pineapple Express

Kitties_and_Colas We decided on Pineapple Express (by Grower's Choice) as our summer strain this year, we veg anything going outside under 16hrs ..We only get 15hrs at peak light(Far North/East, Canadian border) and this prevents any pre-flowering and possible revegging downtime. We're going to flower 4 plants indoors ASAP (to ensure we don't run out )and bring 3 out to the field in about 2-2.5 months...

Kitties_and_Colas Only 5 of the 7 Pineapple Express sprouted (the 2 on the right are a week younger), possibly user error lol.. I started mixing small amounts of nutrients with every watering.. *They're a few shades darker than they appear, my GoPro seems to wash out the color under my our light...

Kitties_and_Colas 3 /5 have been topped and all have been transplanted into their final pot.....Im reusing Promix for this grow, amended with blood meal, ewc, dolomite lime and extra perlite.. (here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3o9eSwvzO0c )

Kitties_and_Colas Week 3 for the smaller plants, week 4 for the 2 larger plants...I noticed new growth fairly quick after transplanting, they seem to be liking their new home :) I increased nutrients and started tying/LST

Kitties_and_Colas They seem to be coming along fine, no real PH issues despite reusing old Promix, more low stress training :) ... I may flip in another week or 2..

Kitties_and_Colas I'll be flipping them soon, i dont typically wait this long..i just need to get the closet set back up for the other seedlings/strains..the 3 Pineapple Express in the back are a week older than the 2 in the front..i like to give them a shot of bloom nutrients 4-5 days before flipping to flower and there's a good chance this is the last week of veg for the Pinapples..

Kitties_and_Colas Flipped to flower (12/12), increased bloom nutes, decreased N and started adding small amounts of cal-mag to be proactive..

Kitties_and_Colas Bud sites forming fast, awesome node spacing on a few in particular....their size is pretty close to what i was anticipating for stretch, I may do a medium defoliation once more before letting them just do their thing, i really hate stressing them much beyond 3 weeks of flower...

Kitties_and_Colas Girls seem to be coming along nicely, color is uniform for the most part..I did notice a little cal-mag deficiency starting in the lower part of 2 plants, i bumped supplement up to 5ml/gal....

Kitties_and_Colas Not a great week... Nearly all the girls exhibited signs of magnesium deficiency seemingly over night, they've been receiving supplemental cal-mag for about 2-3 weeks which leads me to believe my PH has gone squirrely and it's impeding uptake...I flushed all the girls with tap water PH'd to 7 with approx 10ml/gal of grow and bloom nutrients and 3ml/gal cal-mag, i'll upload again on the 7th day of this week to document change (if any)... *fingers crossed*

Kitties_and_Colas I believe last week's flush may have fixed my PH issue, the yellowing (mag deficiency) seems to have stopped spreading..

Kitties_and_Colas So I thought I'd check her out under my scope and to my surprise she's all milky with about 20% amber trics...i'll be cutting her down in just a few days...

Kitties_and_Colas I harvested at 30% amber trics..it snuck up on me fast, I assumed she was an 8 week strain at minimum but I was wrong..i don't take wet weight of buds so I'll update final weight in approx 10 days, happy growing!
