Second time growing this strain. After some improvements in my grow space and adding Terpinator to my additive list, I am curious, if also quality of the bud will be better than in first grow.
Growth is nice. Plant is growing side branches very early. Look it will be bushy plant. On day 14. I add Vitalize to nutrient table. I guess, that earlier usage of Vitalize, makes Young leaves hard and crispy. Plant needs to be more large for this supplement. Even, when You supply according original Mills tables. Also I am using mix of Alg-A-Mic and Acti-Vera for foliar spray.
Very nice growth this week. 16 cm taller in 7 days. Feeding according Mills table and using demineralized water (EC=0/City water EC=0.4). What do You think, about using demineralized/destiled water? Not pushing EC so hard, usually 0.1-0.2 less then table. I started to add Terpinator.
I am happy with this week. Plant is healthy. I started to use GIB CO2 tabs as additive to root feeding. Every week I use little more power of light, but up to day 28. never use more than 100W (I am growing one plant).
Another week, another nice growth. I am surprised by the great size of the plant. Plant is 55cm tall, but also nicely wide. Very, very good for this fast (56 days) strain. This week I feed same as week before. Not pushing EC hard. Still using CO2 tabs. I feel them as a great addition. After one week of using them (about 4 times), plant is in great condition, growing large. This CO2 tabs are so cheap, so why not to use them.
Pictures are taken at day 49. Plant is great in trichomes and fresh smell. Bad part is, that flowers showing up foxtails. Overall flowers are not dense as I wish, and as they were on my previous grows. This week I started with Ultimate PK and I wish, it adds some weight to my flowers.
Pictures taken on day 56. In this week I started to use side light. So now I am using one horizontal and one vertical light. Lower buds gets much more mature and full of trichomes. It is truly very useful to use additional light for lower and side branches, buds. Smell is strong, sweet and fresh. Trichomes clear. I am happy with this grow.
Pictures taken on day 65. Day before harvest. I feel like SUPERthrive is holding nice fresh smell of flowers. Everything just fine. I started to use side light, to bring more light to the bottom of plant. And it is best thing You can do in flowering stage. Lower fowers increase their size, density and trichome production and there is no difference between uper and lower buds. I will do it again in my next grow for sure.
Strain is easy to grow. In 66 days from seed to harvest. Plant was little bit slow from beginning, so You can go less than 66 if plant and conditions are superb. Harvest of 70g dry is quite heavy 💪 CBD calming effect is very strong. I report this after about 3 months of drying in jars with 62% humidity.
In short time strain delivered great amount of buds. Smell is quite unique. Like citrus + herbal = quite like OG Kush smell. Buds are not so dense, but on scale amount is great anyway. Flowers are nice sticky with more then average size and amount of trichomes. I strongly recommend to everyone to use side light. In flower stage of plant it is key thing to better harvest.
Wow, your plant looks huge! You are going to get a big yield! Im also growing sweet pure ato cbd but for some reason they didnt grow tall. They are 22 cm now and already floweribg for two weeks so I think they will be a pair of bonsais!
