Had some difficulties with the seedlings drying out due to removing the dome lid and keeping the heat mat under the container. Five out of six plants looked like they were going to die. Put the dome lid back on, re-wet everything thoroughly and removed the heat mat. Now all six have recovered and are doing well. Going to switch light to 18 hours/day, but having issues with the timer. Meanwhile, getting ready to set up a self-watering system once the plants are moved to soil.

2 out of 6 seedlings appear to be dead. Gelato is in the larger pot and is doing well. Planted new seeds of Black Lime (5) and Cookies (1). Also started one new Sour Diesel and Chemdogging from seed. Finished setting up ventilation system with ceiling exhaust attached to 6" duct and 6" fan. One 4" fan intake in ceiling.

Still having trouble getting seeds to grow! 4 out of 6 seeds from the initial pop have died, so I've popped one more Chemdogging and one more Sour Diesel. Placed the popped seeds directly in the pot they'll stay in for the whole grow per suggestions. Built a 30"x36" trellis out of 3/4" PVC pipe, will install a double trellis netting on it once I set up the Blumat watering system. Also added in a smart power strip that now has built-in timers I can control from my phone. Organized all my extra grow equipment and cleaned up the room! The little pots in the photos are some random seeds I'm starting off in here to give to some friends to grow outdoors.

What setting should I be using on my 240 watt quantum board LED light? I currently have it at about 1/4 strength and 24" from the plants which are 2-3" tall at the moment.

So 60w More light past seedling stage I would default to the 30w/sqft rule So a 3x3 - 9 sq ft = full power 2x2 - 4 sqft = 120w (half power) Just an opinion but they look like they could use a lot more. Walk it up IMO

I'm getting ready to set up an automatic watering system using Blumats for the first time. Should I wait until the plants are at a certain level of development? Thanks

Blumat is suposed to keep a moist soil so wait the end of the second weed to not stress the roots

Set up some random plants from seeds I found in a bag of Black Lime and Cookies, put them in a separate room to flower so I can find out if they're female.

I've now successfully installed a blumat self-watering system and am using plain water with 6.5 ph. I've started a new OG Sour Diesel from seed which is still in a dome and root riot pod. Also started a Chemdogging seed which I just planted yesterday from the dome in its root riot pod. The Gelato is doing great and has started to flower. We're at about day 48 from seed for Gelato. I've added a large humidifier to the room which has helped improve the tent humidity, keeping it in the high 50s to 60.

Blumat system appears to be functioning properly. Drilled a hole in the blumat reservoir for the air pump to go through so I can now fully close the lid.

Things are going pretty well except for the yellow spots that just showed up on one leaf of the Gelato plant. Not sure what is going on. Thinking either overwatering, Leaf Septoria, or a nutrient issue. The Blumat watering is working ok, seems to be watering too much, so I continue to tighten the valves. I've now set up a second grow area for veg in the shower using a 1200 W LED blurple light. Just started 4 new photoperiod seeds in there.

Something is happening with the Gelato plant and I've been struggling to fix it. Leaf tips were starting to turn yellow and looked burnt, so I turned down the light and moved it a little higher. Then the leaves have started to fade to yellow. I checked the reservoir PH which was supposed to be at 6.5, but it was 6.8. I lowered the PH and it is now 6.3. Hoping that solves the issue, but I can't tell yet. Perhaps the Coast of Maine Super Soil is running out of nutrients? The two baby plants in the same tent look totally fine, but the OG Sour Diesel which is also flowering is starting to yellow from the bottom up. 6/4 - just started my first attempt at compost tea. Have 2 gallons of 6.5 ph'd tap water that sat for 3 days in a 5-gallon bucket. Got an air pump and air stone with tubing, set that in the middle. Fed it 2 tsp of Terp Tea, 6 tsp molasses, 10 ml fish sh!t, 10 ml of CalMag. Will let it brew 24 hours and see how it goes.

@240sxOG I've been ph'ing the water before it goes in, haven't been checking runoff as there isn't any runoff. I use tap water which is at about 7.5 ph. Shouldn't I be bringing the ph down to 6.5 or so? If not, should I be buying water?

Here’s where your messing up ... your ph-ing your water in super soil ...the soil does the buffering , aslong as your using neutral ph water the organic soil creates the perfect ph zone like in nature .. don’t mix hydro with organic soil growing ... the ph down or up kills the microbes that feed the plant and why you have burnt leaves ... throw away the ph pen stop ph-ing the water that comes out from the bottom cuz then your going to add a more acidic watering and your not giving the plant what it wants your only adjusting for what’s coming out when you need to make sure what’s going in

@NorCal_Kannabliss what amendments would you recommend to add to my Coast of Maine Stonington blend at this point? Would worm castings be enough?

Chemdogging took off this weak and stretched through the canopy netting. The small OG Sour Diesel should stretch soon, but I just topped it today. The mature Gelato hasn't improved as far as the yellow leaves go, but it doesn't seem to be getting worse.

The chemdogging has gotten huge. Topped it a few weeks ago and it paid off. However, now it is showing either a deficiency or an issue with the water's ph. I checked the ph last night and it was 7.0. I've adjusted it down to 6.5 as of today. Last week I gave the young chemdogging and OG Sour Diesel some compost tea with calmag and fish shit. Hopefully between that and the ph adjustment she will recover and stop yellowing. The Gelato is getting milky trichomes and should be ready in a week or two. The older sour diesel is a few weeks behind the gelato.

I've been unable to curb the yellowing of any of the four plants. It has now happened to the Chemdogging and is starting to happen to the last Sour Diesel. I added some compost tea last night with CalMag, hopefully it helps. Planning to chop the Gelato soon
