4/4: FiM them in the morning. Might have been a little soon since I topped them, but we'll see. Going to resist any more removal for a week. Decided to do half dosage of nutes besides CalMag to give them a little break for a day at least.
4/7: Accidentally broke one of the side lines from the plant on the right side when trying to train it. Kind of bummed, but it allowed me to train one of the mainlines which allows some of the newer growth to get light.
4/13: Noticed some deficiencies with the plant on the left, so added additional pH adjusted RO water with Cal-Mag Plus. Also upped the standard feed water Cal-Mag from 3.5 ml/gal to 5 ml/gal.
4/14: Defoliated large fan leaves on left plant to allow more light
Added a couple more days to this week because I switched to flower on 4/20
5/4: Finally got a small dehumidifier for the tent. Hopefully it'll help bring down the RH. Using as first day of flowering since pistils are starting to be visible
5/6: Measured at 17.5" tall from top of coco
5/10: Measured 19th from coco
5/11: Defoliated most of the large fan leaves.
5/12: Plants seem to be doing well after the defoliation from the previous day.
5/15: Got liquid KoolBloom and started adding that to the feed
Realized a clipping I put in water a few weeks ago rooted. The root was about a foot long, so I planted it in some Happy Frog soil I had laying around to see what happens.
Looking at the trichomes at the end of week 14, is it time to harvest? They're starting to looking cloudy to me so I wasn't sure if I should start flushing or not.
nice tall stalks, but i don't see amber anywhere, but is fairly cloudy around. Still see some glass. Bet you are close.
coco? i'd wait for a bit of amber at least. you don't need as long in coco as soil. 3-5 days tops. i tend to harvest closer to 20% amber, if that helps put it in perspective of what i am suggeting for a ~3 day window. easy to adjust to your preference - same math, subtracting 3-5 from harvest guesstimate.
I'm happy with the result for my first attempt at growing. Learned a lot along the way that I'll use for future grows.
As of July 8th, I have just put the buds in jars to cure. I'll update with impressions after a few weeks.
