Purple Lemonade is one of those strains I saw get released and knew straight away I had to try!
So here it is! Not quite a full week so we’ll call it a FastBuds week with the hope for it to only continue! 😁
I gave her a decent mix of Biobizz light mix with mycorrhizal fugue and beneficial bacteria to ensure she has a solid “foundation” within one of my 5 Gal fabric pots.
I’ve read this strain is a slow starter so I plan to be gentle with all attention I give, I want this strain to really stretch its legs both in root space but also upwards ☝️👌👍
See you all next week with hopefully some greener pictures and stories to tell!
Good luck and stay safe all ✌️🤓
A careful week with this one! Some new equipment turned up which is great as I want to make sure I’m on point with her nutrients as I hear Purple Lemonade can be a little finicky 🤓
Plenty of light and Air circulation, not much else to report other than a very welcome visitor! Not purchased believe it or not, simply a visitor to the tent!!! Ironic considering what species it is 😆
Onto the next week, creeping up the nutrients with some silica and nitrogen next week!
Stay safe and happy growing! 🙏✌️👍
A solid week for this one! After a slower start than the others she’s finally catching up, despite the LST applied it keeps going which is a great sign for me.
I’m not planning on too much training on the Purple Lemonade, I Just want to spread it out and use the pot space on top, below I’m really hoping the roots are really working hard to cover every inch they can ready for a fruitful future! 😊
Next week I’m slowly increasing the nutrient strength and adjusting the branch restraints when necessary.
Thanks again for stopping by! Any advise or criticism is welcome, any support is a good sign in my eyes!
Keep safe and keep growing people! ✌️👍👊
A solid week of growth!
A little let down that there’s not much more structure for the buds to develop upon but maybe I messed up somewhere in the vegetation period 🧐
Either way, she’s turning out to truly be a purple beauty! Flowers popping up very very quickly. As to be expected by Fast Buds Genetics! 😁
No changes to the current LST setup and no defoliation, I’m just gunna let her go completely now! She’s speedy and I wouldn’t want to upset or delay her at all.
More nutrients including some bloom mix this week coming, gently does it though!
Thank you again for the visit! Stay safe and stay growing of course! 😁👍👊✌️
The links and purples are here! So are the trichomes and pistles! A great week of bud development,
Not much changed to the structure just some stretching, I’ve adjust the LST fed a compost tea and letting her do her thing!
More weight and smells of berries next week please!
She’s getting chunky, great week watching pistles shoot out every day and Calyxs swelling. This truly is a stunning plant to admire mature.
I fed a healthy compost/microbe tea this week and the PL soaked it right up, let’s see the rewards next week, I’ll be watching the trichomes closely as of next week to judge when to flush.
Thank you for reading, any feedback/criticism is welcomed ✌️
Fatty! She’s getting a nice chunk on now which is pleasing to see :)
Pistles ambering, calyxs really are swollen up and there is evidence of some herming, something I was forewarned about and nothing to panic over. Something quite common in the purple genetics.
I will be keeping a close eye on these beautiful trichomes that carpet the plant, both to the eye and the microscope you can see changes daily!
The flush has begun and I plan to chop within 2 weeks 😁
The Fade is almost over! And what a sight, the nitrogen depleated foliage really enhances the pink and purple hues from the flowers themselves.
I’m continuing to flush and will cut the lady down in a week!. Trichomes are mostly pink and cloudy, I’ll post some further macro shots upon harvest!
Really really enjoyed running the Purple Lemonade, lots more to pop!
Thank you as always for checking in! Will see you all next week with some more pics and figures! 😊
What a grow! Fast and Furious! The Purple Lemonade has been a pleasure to grow, no real issues experienced at all throughout. It’s a little sensitive to heat but we all see herming on purple genetics. Some beautiful buds to look at, such deep dark purples with fluorescent amber pistles. The taste is unique 👌 literally as described with a real sweet citrus taste and a berry like aroma. This one is definitely one to show and share 😁 Thank you to all at FastBuds for the great genes and the support! 🙏👍😊
