Day 1 - 3/31/2020 after 72 hours all three have popped up. Alan, Phil, and Stu (3 best friends that anyone could have) are currently placed in my seed plug tray in 90/10 coco perlite mix in a shared nursery with my spring herb garden. Coco was wet with ph water with a very mild nutrient solution (canna coco 3 ml per gallon) added. Will be transplanting outside shortly. Plan on running one in soil, one in coco, and not sure yet for the third one. Will be basking in the gorgeous so cal sun. I currently have lights on set to 13 hours which will match the amount of sun they'll receive once outside. Thank you to grow diaries and Fastbuds for providing me with the genetics sure to bring lots of smiles and giggles.
Just got back from home depot and thought I'll do the third one in a "big box" grow. For the big box grow, I will be using Miracle Gro (see if the rumors are true that MG sucks or is it just beginner growers not knowing shit) Performance Organics potting mix and will feed with Kellogg Organic vegetable and herb feed 4-6-3 10% calcium with added mycorrhizals.
The next plant will be using a mix of happy frog and ocean forest with organic ferts tbd. I love living in so cal, 1.5cf bags of FFOF $14 all day a couple miles from home.
The final plant will be in a 80/20 mix of coco/perlite and will be fed hydro nutes.
Day 7 wanted to transplant into pots and move outside tomorrow but an unseasonably cold rain came in for the next 4ish days.
Day 8 unfortunately the weather is not cooperating outside and extended cold rain for the next 5 ish days. Forced to transplant into small quart size pots out from the rooter tray. I know the folklore that autos should not be transplanted but I have no choice. I can not fit their final containers inside the veg tent.
Alan was placed in Happy Frog, Stu was placed in 90/10 coco/perlite, and Phil was placed in Miracle Gro Performance Organics potting soil. Definitely will be adding 20% coarse perlite to the miracle grow mix. Not much perlite in it. All three had their holes dusted with Great White Mycorrhizal. Soil plants watered with filtered dechlorinated water and Stu was fed light meal of canna coco 3ml/gal. Using up my last few drops of canna coco, should be enough to get to flower then will switch to maxibloom.
Day 9 24hrs since transplant and everyone looks happy.
Day 10 still looking happy
Day 11 gave a little water to Alan and Phil, fed Stu.
Day 14 transplant and in the sun at last!!

Day 15 Alan and Phil will only be receiving dechlorinated filtered water and compost tea for atleast the next few weeks until a top dressing is needed. Stu is being fed canna coco currently. Transplant seems to have gone with out a hitch. All three had their transplant holes dusted with great white. All three are praising the sun today 😁👍

Take a look at the pics of two insects. I have no idea what they are. If they're friendly predator bugs or bastard leaf munchers. Any help greatly appreciated in identifying these two.
D.50 I've been feeding stu more consistently, was starting to yellow and is now recovering.
D. 51 Top Dress Alan with 60g of Natures Pride and watered in. Top dress Phil with 60g of Kelloggs Organic Tomato/herb mix and watered in.
D. 52 Fed Stu
D. 54 Fed Stu watered alan phil
D.56 Fed Stu
Day 58 found damn budworms last night. Sprayed every thing with bt and picked off the ones I could see. These plants may be headed for kief extraction and edibles vs smoking. Such a bummer. They are super frosty and smell delicious.
Day 59 sprayed bt again this morning. 36 hr follow up since first application.
Day 60 fed stuand water phil and Alan
Day 61 sprayed BT
Day 62 gave final top dress to Alan and Phil and lightly watered in. Fed stu. Plants now full on stink wonderfully. Dont grow this outside unless your legal or want to get busted 😆.
Finding dead Caterpillars now, will keep bi weekly spray of bt up to week before harvest. Will be washing/water curing these buds due to the bt spraying during flower.
D.65 plants are using up their resources, should be close to finishing in a week to 10 days.
D.68 placed plants on flush. Checked trichs under a loupe lots of cloudy and with a bit of amber. These girls are in a hurry to finish.
D.70 getting closer, these ladies stink stink stink. Did I mention they stink?
Day 74 Alan has been Harvested. Not much lost to insect damage. Buds washed and hanging to dry. The other 2 plants probably within the next 5 days or so.
Day 77 I have harvested and washed Stu and Phil. The grow phase is now completed.
There girls grew up fast and matured into some beautiful sticky dense buds. Not surprising to me the Hydro Nutes yielded best and all 3 tasted great. Not much difference in flavor or bud appearance between the 3.
Pretty envious of your back yard man. Not just the cannabis, but everything. Full, healthy trees and plants. A wonderful get away, here🙂. Do you ever go inside? Haha. I'd have trouble staying inside.
Keep up the fine work and enjoy your Oasis 👌☺️.
@Ga4rd2en0er, Ha! I missed this. No one can see what you're doing in your forest. Go get yourself the best kiddie pool they got and enjoy, hahaha.😅 Hey, another great week and fine work my friend. Have a great week and I'll catch you on the flip side✊
@Med_in_Tropic, I made a minor adjustment to my sheet and it calculated very close to my meters, within 2%. I am so happy to have this tool now. No more guess work making fertilizer.
