RussianGrower Once again, I decided to update my last year's outdoor tour 2019 in Russia. This was the sixth week of my plants, I gave them a little more time about two and a half weeks and then took off my crop of inflorescences. I also had another plantation, later I will create a separate diary for it. Subscribe and stay tuned if you are interested

RussianGrower By the end of the ninth week, I had cut the plants from the guerrilla plantation and brought them home to dry. The weather had already begun to deteriorate, it started to rain, and I was forced to cut the plants earlier than expected.

This is not the first time I have grown this strain on the street in a cold climate in Russia. Unfortunately, it loves the sun very much and is very afraid of high humidity, but despite this, it is quite unpretentious and gives a good harvest, and the rare purple phenotype simply fascinates the eye

This is not the first time I have tested this genetics in the Moscow region in Russia in a cold climate and it has repeatedly proved its viability. The variety is not too productive and you do not need to count on much, but it consistently yields at least 25g per plant, and sometimes more. This plant is great for guerrilla cultivation because of its small size.

Nice! makes me want to gorrila grow in the UK but its soooooo wet where I live.

RussianGrower commented6y ago
@Herbie, Humidity is not so important when using Nordic genetics. Use northern moisture resistant varieties
Herbie
Herbie commented6y ago
@RussianGrower, Thanks I'll certainly check the Nordic stuff out.

Nice one) What region? Are you planning to go auto this year?
RussianGrower
RussianGrower commented6y ago
@Sanguinius163,This is Russia, two hundred kilometers from Moscow, the Central Federal district. Yes, this year I am planning a larger outdoor project and more partisan plantations.

@KonstantinUKR, This is last year's report, bro, we're just starting the summer season now, this year I'll be using northern genetics.

I was thinking it's still too early for Moscow, turns out they're last year's. Time to start a new cycle. Good luck!
RussianGrower
RussianGrower commented6y ago
@Harmar, Yeah, the weather here is still pretty unpredictable, a couple of days ago everything was covered in snow) This year, we're planning to use domestic genetics adapted from Kalashnikov seed, Amur Giant, let's see what comes out of it, maybe we'll come up with something else too. I've noticed that there are significantly more Russian-speaking folks here on the platform since last year)

cold climate for outdoor, I still dream of growing my big seed collection in the south
RussianGrower
RussianGrower commented6y ago
@YourDream, this is last year's outdoor from 2019. I got a decent yield from it, I'll upload the results later ) In our region, photoperiods don't mature outdoors, but I harvested 2 crops of autos. This year, I'm going to grow local genetics adapted to our region. Let's see what comes of it.

Excellent work! I've recently started following your diaries and have been very impressed. Where I live it has only been legal to grow for a little under two years so I still remember the danger and fear associated with clandestine ops and have much respect for what you are doing. I hope the laws change someday soon where you are so you can grow your garden without having to structure everything around stealth. Cheers!

The_Bearded_Grower
im surprised you only got 206 g from 10 plants
RussianGrower
RussianGrower commented6y ago
@ichimaru, What did you expect from secret guerrilla cultivation in a cold, harsh climate? Autoflowering plants are very sensitive to sudden changes in temperature! Moreover, plants do not receive any care during their whole life, they feed on rainwater and what is contained in the earth. In these conditions, 20 g from one plant is a good result! This year I plan to grow genetics adapted in Northern Europe, Canada and Russia. Let's see how they show themselves

@RussianGrower, i missed the outdoor part lol to bad you don't have a bit of a green house. have you tried northern lights

Lit_1 commented6y ago
@RussianGrower, Very nice. You should check out plants that do well outdoors in Humboldt county California. It's very similar in climate to northern Europe with the cold weather, I think anything that would do well there outdoors should do similar for your Guerrilla grows. 😊

Hi ! Your guerilla grows are so interesting ! I have some question about it : - How long do you grow them before puting them in soil ? - At wich time of the year do you plant them in soil ? - And finally how much distance do you put between two plants ? Will you do a diarie for your 2020 season ?
RussianGrower
RussianGrower commented6y ago
@akimori, Yes, I will grow this year in outdoor, I have already purchased a lot of seeds adapted in Northern Europe, Canada and Russia. Autoflowering plants have a fairly short vegetative period, so I try to plant them about 7-10 days from seed germination. I can transfer plants to the outdoor area starting from the moment when the street night temperature ceases to be below 10-12 degrees. The main thing is that there are no very sharp changes in temperature or morning frosts For autoflowering plants do not need a lot of space, before I planted them at a distance of 40-50cm from each other, but in partisan conditions, you can do this much closer to each other, since the plants do not interfere with each other. 30cm is enough for one plant, in extreme cases they can be unbent. It is better to plant as many plants as possible on one square meter, but their roots should be isolated from each other

@RussianGrower, that's so enlightening, thank you ! I was thinking a lot about this recently, guerilla with autos, if you can find seeds for a good price, is probably one of the best strategy. Really excited about your future outdoor diarie ! What seeds did you choose ? I've seen that Sweet Seeds offers a pack of 10 random autos from their catalogue for just 35€ they may not be adapted to your climate but it would be so beautiful with all the different shades of colours they can have. Keep up the great work !

Normally. But like mine not much for out per plant. Probably for climate 🤔 .
RussianGrower
RussianGrower commented6y ago
@Hasiklis420, For an auto in the outdoors, this genetic variety has a pretty decent yield. The strain loves warmth and is very susceptible to mold; it should have stood for another week or two. Plus, there was practically no care for them. Just planting - one watering after a month and a half - then harvest. Essentially, they grew in wild conditions on what was available in the substrate, with Mother Nature providing for them. This year, I decided to give up on southern autoflowers and will be growing northern genetics adapted to our climate. Unfortunately, in our region, photoperiod strains don't mature due to the light schedule; 12 on 12 comes too late.
