The final piece to my perpetual harvest strategy... Blue Dream'Matic by FastBuds. She is growing in organically composted 'super soil', I have not added any additional nutrients.
From the pic of the overall garden my strategy is to have the 2 youngest plants in the middle directly below the CFL. The 2 plants in late-veg or early-flower on the right. And the 2 plants in late-flower on the left (under the light with more reds). The CFL will also act as some side lighting for the 4 older plants. So far everything is going to plan. ๐
Setup:
24x48x72 grow tent
1 Viparspectra V300 300w LED fixture
1 Viparspectra R300 300w LED fixture
1 CFL 100w (26w actual)
4โ exhaust fan w/carbon filter 190cfm
6โ clip on fan
Electric oil filled radiator behind air intake
Recharge works!! Noticing nice results after 24 hours. Looking forward to seeing what happens after 48 hours! ๐
Will post pics with the next weeks update.
@DudeGrowsWeed, No problem dude. Glad I could be some help to a fellow grower. I always struggle with patience at the end lol. Then you remember still a few weeks to dry and cure ๐
Kewl system you have there with the lights and rotation for your perpetual harvest system. How many weeks apart do you stagger?
It looks like you use some type of watering port? Can you tell more about those, haven't seen that before
@Fun_Growin,Yes, very similar to a dog/cat watering bowl. Good analogy. I fill them based on the needs of the plant. I lift the plants to check if any feel light, then I will fill a spike for that plant. Plants in flower might need to be refilled 2 or 3 times per week. Seedlings might not need any
@Fun_Growin, Iโve been staggering on a 3 week basis lately and I think that will work out to be the ideal spacing based on the size of my tent.
I use watering spikes for my mid week watering. Nothing really special about them they screw onto bottle tops and then you place them in the soil. I was using ceramic watering spikes earlier on that were designed to work with wine bottles and I preferred those because the released the water more slowly and based on the dampness of the soil. But the ceramic started breaking so I switched to the plastic ones.
unlucky with the mould in the end I had issues with it on my grapegum and choc haze in drying also love the perpetual auto tent iv got the same thing going with mine but in 2 stages 4 week apart 3 in one side 3 in other nice work again
@biggreens420, Iโm going to do a tincture for drinking. Iโm planning on trying both alcohol and coconut oil for the tinctures. Kind of hoping I like the coconut oil better. But weโll see.
@Germbucket, yeah they are very solid. Unfortunately showing small amounts of mold/mildew. Going to try making an alcohol tincture with this batch. I hear the alcohol should kill the mold/mildew
