Popped through the soil and started growing pretty quickly! Will give it a few days before I transplant into a bigger container.
Won't be giving her any nutes for the first week to avoid the risk of over feeding.
Will be keeping her inside for the time being as it's still too cold to go outside.
Changed lighting to a quantum board which puts out the equivalent power of a 400w MH/HPS bulb which is perfect for early growth. I did this because its starting to warm up here and temperature was being a bit of an issue.
Just waiting for pots to arrive so I can transplant her.
Transplanted her into soil on day 14. I'm going to be growing her outside as I think the light intensity in the tent was too high and I couldn't get it any lower, plus the weather is starting to pick up nicely now.
She seems to have recovered from the transplant and is not looking so sorry for herself now.
I'm hoping by the end of this week she'll start to take off a bit.
Now she's in biobizz soil I won't be giving her any nutes until around 3/4 weeks time.
So on day 30 I decided to top her above node 5 and tie down some of the lower branches. She doubled in size in just over a week which is great!
I'll probably leave her a couple of weeks now to recover and grow a little before I put her into flower.
absolutely, depending on how much longer you want to keep her in veg. You can even do topping if you feel adventurous. But at least some lollipoping and defoliation from the bottom is needed! best of luck
I've carried out lst on all of the node branches apart from the very top 2. She's grown a lot in the last week!
She's really bushy on her lower half, I'm not sure whether to defoliate a bit before flowering or to just keep doing lst. I'll start to give her nutes soon as well.
Should I defoliate before flower?she's really bushy down low and has some huge fan leaves which are blocking out a bit of the light to bud sites.
Should I just continue to lst her and wait until the lower bud sites grow out more or should I defoliate a bit before flowering?
So I've discovered that my white widow is actually an auto to my surprise 😂
I'm quite glad actually because normally I'd never top an auto because I'd be to worried about stunting her but she seems to be doing just fine!
I think I'll start adding nutes at some point this week, maybe the next watering.
She seems to be growing nicely and the buds look like they're coming along alright.
I'll probably give her some nutes next watering but at the moment she seems alright.
The buds are starting to fill out a bit more now.
It think she's pretty much reached how tall she's gonna get. Next week I'll top dress the soil and that should see her through to harvest.
So I've decided not to use any nutrients during this grow, she's getting pretty close to finish and the soil I used seemed a to have had enough to see her through the grow.
The fans leaves are starting to yellow as she draws nutrients from them, I think I'll harvest next week roughly.
She's very nearly ready to harvest! All the leaves are starting to turn yellow due to her running out of nutrients due to the flush.
At 81 days old I'm thinking about chopping her
Should I harvest? She's 82 days old and most of the pistols now have turned Amber and curled in.
Under The microscope all the trichomes are cloudy I think and about 10-20% have got Amber heads.
Cheers.
Most growers like to see some amber because this means the majority of trichomes have ripened and turned cloudy which is the highest point of thc levels. 🌱👍Harvest she looks lovely
U can make bubble hash or any other concentrate from sugar leaves. U can use it for cooking.... sugar leaves actually have always yielded more for me when it comes to extraction over buds. What cant u do with the sugar leaves fam! Happy growing and stay lit fam.
Nice diary Twalker92,dont know if anybody pointed this out but when doin LST it's best to bend the main stem so to create an even canopy still beautiful lookin buds
