RQS - Royal Gorilla Automatic

Royal Gorilla Automatic from RQS has a great reputation, I popped this seed in the usual manor with 24 hours in a shot glass before another day in a wet paper towel before hitting the dirt. It took 3 days before it came out completely to say hello! So today is Day 1 (4/4/20) I plan to stress this little one with some LST and a FIM in week 3/4 subject to its growth status, I want to delay flowering and make the most of what it can do in its veg period 🤓. A gentle week for the gorilla, gentle watering, gentle breeze and a gentle 250watt MH bulb shining down upon it. A slow week compared to the others well visually anyway! Roots could always be a different story! I’m not going to train this plant until it starts to spread out, this has only just begun so likely to be applying LST next week or so. I hope you’re all well! Thank you for reading! This week was a great one! the Gorilla exploded with some vegetable growth in all directions, really happy with the health of this plant. No training this week just selective leaf removal and tucking, it’s a week behind the others in the tent in regards to preflower development but I believe that’s a good that’s a great thing, I’ve high hopes for this one! This week I stripped the lower growth areas and defoliate around up and coming bud sites, The gorilla is now getting in the the swing of things and flower is fully underway! She starting to smell and display new growth by the day, I’m really happy with this one, should be a good yield and site for the eyes once complete 👌👍 Not much planned for this week apart from feeds and the occasional leaf plucking! What a week! Actually 10 days! 🙄 Explosive stretch and foliage, I defoliate where necessary and exposed bud sites, I adjusted the LST slightly but other than that she’s just had a generous microbe/compost tea and plenty of light/air flow 👍 This is such a great strain to grow, It’s been a solid run and I expect a comfortable return of fruits for my labour (limited!). Last week of feed for the Gorilla! Pistles Starting to amber and a few trichomes getting that way, just water from now on! Trichomes production has been pretty slow with this one but it’s seems as though it’s all coming together now as she’s swelling and smelling more by the day :). A nice almost citrus aroma and very sticky sugar leaves. It’s got such great structure! The Royal Gorilla clearly has Very good genetics! Bring on the flush and trichome inspections!!!! 2 weeks ish now and I plan to chop.

A trichome production week is the best way of describing it! The buds are swelling and trichome getting cloudy, I’m really impressed with the genetics of This one. Makes sense why it’s so popular! I look forward to the harvest next week, just some PHD waterings for now! I’ll let her dry and and then chop time! Citrus scented and almost a musky skunk aroma 👌can’t wait to taste! Very impressed, solid genetics, clearly a winner for RQS! Very happy with the quality and the yeild considering the limited training given. Will be popping more and getting some Feminised beans going! Thank you RQS 🙏👍👌
