Still having issues with humidity. Hopefully warming weather will add more natural humidity.
Growth is starting to take off. Lots of leaf development over last week. Over last day or two starting to show signs the stretch is starting. Both are sativa dominate so planning on lots of height being added.
Both plants seem to have some delay in growth but this seems to be mostly just being stuck in seedling stage longer once they hit veg they started to catch up. I believe this had to do with humidity issues.
Roots on cheese have started to poke out of fabric pot on bottom. Both are now more thirsty so I am not getting as much run off anymore.
I will be upping water / feed today.
Will move to bloom in a week or two once stretch is nearing end.
I have white areas forming on out side of both pots now. I think they are salts. The other half is worried it is mold. The color is white and it looks be soaked into the fabric. There are white " points " coming out in heavy effected areas as well as other areas. Roots I think
Hi there!
I'm pretty sure it is just salt buildup but can you wash it off or something? Maybe if you dissolve some in water and measure the ec you can be sure about this.
Whitr pointy things are roots I believe and that is a goos thing cos now they will dry from the tip and they produce more hair roots everywhere!!
Cheese autoflower is starting to show amber trichromes on sugar leaves not buds. Like quite a few. Still has lots of white hairs. Very few other harvest signs. Should I start to flush and harvest. Possibly sequencial harvest ?? Or give it a little longer.
I wouldnβt flush yet if your pistils are still mostly white. Can you see the colour of the tris on the bud? Wait till theyβre milky, not the sugar leaves, and then start your flush. Sounds like the strain will ripen up much differently on the sugar leaves compared to the bud. Could be a great edible / bubble hash strain
Hey there,
Thanks so much for running a diary of our genetics π
Let us know if you need any assistance, weβre more than happy to help.
Happy Growing !!! π±βοΈπ΄ππΏπ³
@Fast_Buds, Thanks I had good experience growing your GSC strain. I understand this strain is a little more difficult to grow.
Hopefully I pull this one off with great success like i did with GSC.
Stay safe and healthy.
@HazeyBobby, Yes I use big bud on all my grows. Specifically Big Bud Coco as I grow in coco. The calyx are not quite swollen yet. So still should add quite a bit more weight in the next couple weeks. Pistils are starting to turn colors. So I think I should replace Big Bud with OverDrive as my experience with Autos tells me that means I am entering late stage so focus more on swelling calyx and resin production.
My cheese is still behind by a week or so I will keep it in on Big Bud as it is still growing more " bud ".
Hella Jelly! Gonna be a sexy flower! Come check out my very first grow if you have the time! Drop me some tips!!! It's a Notorious T.H.C. from Humboldt Seed Company! They have some sweet genetics! Hope you stop by i'll be watching this grow!π
Congratulations on the new baby. She looks good at first. Choose a good variety. For a treat. Keep doing what you are doing and ask the growing ganja gods to protect your women until the growth is over.
I've been told to use distilled water only in humidifiers so avoid the white dust problem - my tent was covered during my last grow!
Just to share... I've found putting a large tray filled with tap water in the tent and a fan blowing on it can increase the humidity by a good 20-30%.
Hope you isolated that bit of mould ... those big big buds are so susceptible. Great harvest - congrats π looks like those scissors would have been trimming away quite some leaf!
@HazeyBobby, yep it was super small patch of mold ( qtr inch ). But I cut out the 2 buds it developed between and then rinsed scissors in alcohol before continuing.
