JamesBarre Hey everyone 😁 finally starting a second grow this year. I harvested three plants early to make some room for my new plans. JamesBarre Start of the second session for the latest autoflowering varieties from Royal Queen Seeds, I'm testing the automatic watering system from Blumat 👌 in parallel (monitoring soil moisture is too tedious) the plants are really strong, and despite days at 36°, they seem to be doing well.

JamesBarre The temperatures have finally dropped and are stabilizing around 25°C. I just germinated an autoflowering Mimosa that I've wanted to grow for a long time 😅. I will continue to germinate other seeds that I've never done when I return from vacation 🤞.

unlike my 3 Cheese 🧀🧀🧀 (in the same pot) which suffered from a lack of watering for 1 or 2 days during my absence when they received 2 × 3l over 7 days 😅

JamesBarre The last few days have been rainy and overcast 😑 I find my apple fritter - my Orion F1 - my wedding cake have entered flowering too early without a real stretch, maybe due to underwatering from the Blumat system. So, I've gone back to manual watering hoping to give them a chance to progress better during flowering. In comparison, my Mimosa (watered manually earlier) is already taller with bigger fan leaves and three weeks younger 👍😁.

JamesBarre Still and again this rainy weather 😑 it doesn't stop my plants from growing but the conditions are not optimal. You can notice the difference between indica-dominant varieties that mature faster and the sativas that are just barely entering flowering 😊😀😉

JamesBarre One more week for my plants, two of them are over 50cm (called Fritter auto and Mimosa auto) & two others are between 25cm and 30cm (Wedding Cake auto and Orion F1). A little disappointment regarding the Orion F1 which hasn't grown much but has entered flowering very quickly 👍 I just hope the buds will fatten up in the weeks left before the harvest 😅. As for my "auto" or "fast" cheeses, the buds are really starting to swell and take shape 😁🧀😉

JamesBarre Sun, heat, humidity, and wind are all here this week 👌 for my Orion F1, it just needs another week or two of flushing and I could harvest it. My Wedding Cake has produced an enormous main bud and two other side buds, it just keeps getting bigger 😋. My Mimosa and my Apple Fritter (60cm) look more promising for a good amount of bud compared to the other two (about 25cm) and my Cheese 🧀😁 puts a smile on my face, succeeding with sativa-dominant strains on a balcony with 6 hours of direct light in the morning surprises me 😅

A bit disappointed with the size of my Orion F1 auto plant, new variety from Royal Queen Seeds, but the buds are fine in the end. They are hard and dense, I can't wait to see the result after drying. I suspected a lack of watering due to the Blumat watering system or maybe stress from a few days of high temperature during the month of July, but my Apple Fritter auto with the same watering conditions managed to reach 60cm in height. I have never harvested a plant that reached maturity outdoors this quickly despite direct sun exposure of only 6 hours a day.

JamesBarre The harvest isn't huge, we can't know in advance the final result we'll get 😅 so to judge this F1 strain that matures really quickly, I'll wait to smoke it to assess its taste and effects rather than on the small size that I got 😁

JamesBarre We arrive at the beginning of September and the temperatures were beautiful (over 30 degrees for several days) the rain makes its appearance but the temperatures remain decent (22 degrees) maybe still a month before the harvest of these ladies in bloom 😅👌

I am proud of this automatic mimosa that I have been eager to cultivate for months 😁 the close-up of the main head is just dazzling. I am always amazed by the result that can be achieved on a balcony with only 6 hours of direct sunlight 👍👌

Nouvelle variété de de chez royal queen seed, le résultat est vraiment bien 👍 le phénotype est sativa et l'odeurs qu'elle dégage est incroyable. Le bud principal est énorme et compact. Les branches latérales sont aussi très généreuse 🤤

Orion f1 is really fast growing, if it has the input it needs. Mine was starting flower in week 4 .. 60% more growth than other Autos the same age.
