Ended up flushing Mumma for about 10 days - got her ppm down real low. Night before harvest I set the timer so the light would not come back on in the morning before I harvested (I've seen people who swear by this and other who say it doesn't do anything but figured it couldn't hurt). At this point the other plants are pretty disappointing compared to Mumma so they aren't getting as much "love" lol.
I am in Coco at the end of week 5 flower. I am wondering how to time the flush if I'm planning on flushing for 10-14 days before harvest? I have a USB microscope to check tricomes also.
Hi my friend :-) If your trichome heads are about 80% milky and 20% clear you can flush :-) If they are 70% milky and 40% amber you can harvest ๐๐ It looks great bro ๐๐
Thoughts on trimming in flower? I trimmed underneath and lightly defoliated the top about 2 weeks in to flower. I'm mid-way through week 5 now, not sure if I should just leave them or trim some lower larf. Not planning on touching fan leaves until final week before harvest.
Thanks for your help on the flush timing question @MadeInGermany and @Fusion - very helpful indeed.
I'll start putting up photos from the USB microscope in the coming weeks so we can nail this harvest time - I'm excited :D
