Yo yo. She’s done, coming down in the next few days. Adding 6 ph water only, until ppm gets to 50. Will then drain completely and no lights for 24 hrs. Lots of milkys with a sprinkle of amber so time has come. Excited for this one, she smelling pretty sweet and fruity right now. Some good sized buds, lots of them, but nothing you’d hit a fastball with. Surprised she grew this bushy, I don’t recall topping just some lst. I’m sure she has a few issues, let her get too tall so light intensity was tough to keep up with. Like she needed 2 different feeding schedules, but I digress, getting into topics I need to learn more about. Looking forward to harvest, glad she made it and thanks for checking her out. Stay safe and keep it realz.

Just wondering what anyone’s take is on the Chloramines and chlorines used in tap water treatment. Are these guys as detrimental to our plants, specifically in a hydro setup, as they’re made out to be? Thanks.
Any sort of dissolved solid or gas in the water can affect things. It’s better to use distilled or dechlorinate before hand. Living soil growers take special heed to chlorine as this can destroy your micro environment.
@KenSpliffeyJr,
Right on, we will see in a few weeks with this girl. I agree with you, the 24 hr dark does help, with trich production too. Running the bucket empty last couple of days hasn’t caused me any issues either. Sticking with that for now, need to stock my freezer lol, so experimenting with temps I will explore later this year. Good chats Spliffey.
@Greazy77, I think your on to something with doing it the last week. A youtube channel called “Lex’s World” mentioned doing so during the last week / flush and that being enough time
To bring out the colours iirc. I honestly don’t have a way of controlling it aside from maybe a 24 hour night cycle before harvest, or dimming down the lights from the led so it produces less heat but I think that’s counter intuitive cause the idea is to bring a sharper contrast in night temps within a safe zone as opposed to an overall cooler temp.
I’ve also heard of people running an ice flush but that makes me nervous and have only read anecdotal reports of it and never actually seen a concrete example online or in person. Honestly I don’t think I’m ok with that method either.
I’ll probably just try a 24 hr night cycle when my purple lemonade from 420 fast buds arrives and is ready for harvest.
@KenSpliffeyJr,
Copy that, going to leave the temps the same. Curious myself, led to believe this strain will have some colour as is. Think we have to be careful with lowering temps as to when, how long, how cold etc. But maybe the last week or so? During flushing maybe, not too many negatives if colder temps used then. Although might not be long enough to actually have an effect? I hear ya spliffey.
Wow, what a harvest! Congrats! I'm dealing with a monster myself and my tent is just crowded and she has no more vertical height to go. Really hoping she just fills out now.
