Mega Power Plant

gdogfunk Starting the next delicious batch of goodness!! Cheers to the Netherlands! I’ve been to Amsterdam twice and had an amazing experience both times! I’m excited to see what this seed will do for me and humanity! Day 3: we have liftoff!

gdogfunk Day 8: she’s growing a little leggy. I’ll be planting in soil soon after a bit more root development.

gdogfunk Starting week 3 and coming along nicely! Not much to report, watering when needed and have them under my closet led until the tent is finished.

gdogfunk Starting week 4 and she’s doing great! I’ll be transplanting to 1gal fabric pots soon.

gdogfunk Day 29: I transplanted to 1gal fabric pots and used fox farm ocean forest since I was out of happy frog. I also used some great white rooting powder to give them a jump start in the new soil. She seems to be responding well to the transplant and it getting bigger and bigger! I also topped last week for the first LST topping.

gdogfunk Day 39: mid week into the 6th week of veg. She’s doing great and will be ready for 7gal pots in a little less than a week!

gdogfunk Day 43: starting week 7! Transplanted to 7gal pots using great white rooting powder and watering with 30ml/gal URB and 15ml/gal molasses for plants to get the microbes going in the soil. They are very happy and looking good!

gdogfunk Day 50: starting week 8 of Veg! Did some tie downs and topped the second and final time to get enough branches for the scrog. She’s doing great and is a lush dark green. She seems very happy in her 7gal pot! This is the first time I’ve reused soil as it’s very expensive to buy new each time. I talked it over with a friend and he likes to reuse his soil after removing the rootball from the previous grow. I figure I’ll just have to add more nutrients than I might otherwise. They done seem to show any signs of deficiencies, so I’ll continue as normal and see what happens. Until next week!

gdogfunk Day 63: ending up week 9 with some lst tie downs. I’ve been very busy lately and haven’t had much time for my garden, so I made sure to get the branches tied down to prepare for the scrog screen next week.

gdogfunk End of week 10!! I just installed the screen today and will be giving her an extra week of veg to fill out the screen a bit and then off we go!

gdogfunk Day 77: finishing up week 11 of veg. I believe I caught a case of the thrips! I caught it early enough that damage is minimal and only on a few leaves from what I can tell. New growth looks nice and green! I sprayed thoroughly with Monterey garden spray with spinosad and it seems to have stopped them. I don’t see any movement on the leaves after a couple of days. Hopefully, I got them all!!

gdogfunk Day 83: wrapping up the first week of bloom transition! The thrips appear to have been vanquished and the plant looks very healthy. She’s filling the screen out nicely and I’m happy I did an additional week of veg. The tent smells great! Update: my timer was not set to auto and it appears I’ve been on 24hrs it light and did not switch to 12/12 last week like I thought. I’m glad I caught it now! Oh well, a little more veg time won’t hurt them!

gdogfunk Wrapping up the first week of bloom. Discovered I’ve been on 24hrs of light due to the timer being set to ‘on’ and not ‘auto’! So my first week of 12/12 wasn’t really 12/12. Plants are healthy and happy and are going I be huge after the growth spurt!

gdogfunk Day 101: a bit late for last week’s update, but wow what a jungle! I wasn’t able to move things around anymore, so up she goes! Looking good entering the 3rd week of bloom

gdogfunk Day 106: did a major Defol at the end of this week to get more light to the lower buds. What a jungle! I can’t spread the canopy any more, so she’s growing kind of wild. Going to be a decent yield from what I can tell! Smelling great in the tent now!

gdogfunk Week 16, day 5: She's coming along nicely and the buds are starting to form with nice long pistils. The smell is getting good now and I'm starting to see some trichome development now. Looking good, so far!

gdogfunk Day 125. Flower week 5, Day 6. The buds are forming great now and the tent is starting to smell great! I need to do a bit of defol again as the canopy is getting very thick and could use some space.

gdogfunk Day 132. Flower week 6, Day 6. I did some defol today to get more light deeper into the canopy. The buds are looking great and the tent really smacks you in the face when you open it. I'm really looking forward to smoking these buds! It won't be long now, only a couple more weeks!

gdogfunk Day 141: Just wrapped up week 9. I'll likely harvest this weekend, for a full 10 week flower. She looks spectacular and smells great! I can't wait to harvest and sample this beauty!

gdogfunk I discovered thrips late in veg and treated them with Spinosad. I also had a timer mishap and discovered I'd been on 24hrs of light the entire grow instead of 18/6. I discovered it a few days after thinking I was on 12/12. No wonder the tent turned into a jungle! Overall, I am very happy with 4.25oz of killer top shelf buds! Thank you, Spliff Seeds!!
