So this is the first grow, much planning ahead with the nutrients and such, to hopefully be able to pull this off with little maintenance, while producing big, flavourful nugs. The point is to be able to control the quality, something that simply started to annoy more and more.
I was excited to see that the Eazy Plugs did their work, last Friday I put the seeds in pointy side down, watered and let the water run off, then patiently waited for some time while letting the little ones adjust to the lighting with a 14/10 schedule and a distance of 110cm, with only the VEG (blue light) part of my LED on. On day 3 I switched seamlessly to 18/6. As of now, we're 5 days in and I think the progress is quite presentable.
The seeds started to pop on day 3 by little white spots yearning for the surface, on day 4's morning I saw the 3 little guys standing upright and preparing for light. They started turning greener and greener, and now the first serrated leaves are becoming clearly visible.
I'm a little bit concerned about the lighting, as two of them are bending downwards a little, couldn't make out if it's just the position of the light they're trying to reach and I'm too stupid to get right, or if it's actually too much for them. I will try to adjust that accordingly over the next few days.
