I’m starting his in week three because... well I just found this site. With the lighting I have I’ll be adding a Mars Hydro 250 in the coming weeks as we get closer to the flowering stage. It’s my first grow so any thought or comments will be taken with full respect and gratitude. Once the 250 arrives. I do plan on removing the spider farmer and using it to pop more seeds in a smaller tent. So I can keep plants in both stages. Thanks for watching folks.

Honestly what’s the point where’s the passion! You may as well just grow normal flowers and water them! BUT if you care for cannabis like most of us on GD your buy a decent nutrient base for you plant! Aim at a one part mix solution that will help keep it easy for you! Or maybe even look at ROYAL QUEEN SEEDS I Grew a plant healthily off of its soil nutrient boosts and tabs you add to water literally grew itself and buds were so dense and she was a huge plant

Plants were topped after about 4-5 nodes became present. Watered easily afterwards. All four seem to be growing fine again. Watered with liquid seaweed. (Half dose). I have just ordered two mars hydro so 150a to more than double the Watts from my led currently. With the CFLs removed and the three total LEDs please tell me they will get taller. If like to wait another couple weeks and then flip to flower mode. Gonna stay with water and the seaweed until flower. At this point I plan on using a basic bloom nute that my local grow shop gave me to use as a new grower.

Plants are in 1 gal. fabric pots. I’d like to transplant before flowering but how long will they need take the new dirt + should I go from 1 to 3 Gal or is that not enough. Would 4-5 gallon be better.

In the size tent you have, 3 gallon would be fine. Let them grow a couple more weeks after you transplant.

ADDED LIGHTS. 2 Mars Hydro SP150s But did find two male plants and got them out. The two grease monkey seeds both turned out male which sucks but the cookies and cream look good. One question I have is, with the temperature at 88-90 degrees is that too hot or if I have a fan blowing on the plants will that keep them cool. Having three lights does make it warmer but really only ten degrees. I also defoliated the plants but it just happened to be the day I later noticed the two males. The look good and the basic nutes seem to be making an impact. I plan on vegging for two more weeks under the added wattage and then putting our window clone (triangle kush) and these two ladies into 12/12 all at the same time. I’ll be sure to grab some clippings for clones next week. Just need time to get to the grow shop for some cloning solution and more soil amendments. Any recommendations on a soil amendment recipe would be awesome as well.

Haven’t done much this week. I may have overwatered and defoliated too quick together as well as put the two females into bigger pots. Went with three gallon since this is just for me and I’m pretty close to putting into flower. The lights seem to help now that I have two 150s and a 100 watter I’m happy with setup. One thing I noticed when I transplanted, toots were all white and not root bound. Made me feel good to know they are looking healthy. Going to continue with the minimal nutes and RO water. Any suggestions on light nutes for the blooming flowers. Or should I just keep up with the basic house nutes. I’m scared if I start adding something they might freak out and I’ll fuck something up. Any must do’s for flipping to 12/12 I should remember.

Starting Flowering today. Plants have been looking good. I did trim a few big fan leaves a couple days ago. Not many but just a few to open up some light to leaves not getting any. Keep defoliation to a minimum. Adding the Bloom to the already light nute mixture. Second grow will probably be a bit more precise but for now it’s all good. I plan to flower these for 55-60 days. So hopefully by the 4th of July we will have some product to harvest.

It’s been eight days since I started 12/12 lighting. Flowering seems to be going well. The two main plants have some very smalls signs of flowering starting. The odd triangle Kush looks to be flowering nicely. They are being watered every other night. And seem to be taking the water nicely. I did trim a few fan leaves off the clone and larger main plant to clean up the undercarriages. And that’s it from here on out. Plan to let them go for another 7 weeks and then they are coming down. The only help I’m going to give them are small wooden dowl rods if they need it.

I have a huge smile on my face because I’m getting closer and closer each day to smoking my own cannabis. Never buying weed again. Still on one tent but by this time next year the plan is to have a veg room and a flower room. Anyways. This past week has been great for the plants. Taking water nicely. All plants flowering nicely from what I can tell. Nothing looks odd. No insect or bacteria issues. Knock on weed... hope I didn’t jinx myself. I’m adding a dehumidifier and should be in by next weeks post. From what I read is if they get too wet and moist the plants can develop mildew or mold and fungus and also it says that after a rain or watering you want the pores of the leaves to open back up and if it’s too wet they never open and stop producing. Sounds good to me. Also. Got a new phone. First one in a long while and I made a short vid.

Here’s what has happened. The middle plant of the three has “Hermied”. I’ve done some reading and looked at quite a few reviews and while I hate to leave it there that’s 1/3 of my crop. The goal to to make enough to get me through to the next harvest. And since I’m not selling this to anyone and it’s oh so frosty and good looking on top I’m going to pluck and chuck those bananers each day for the next two weeks. Oh also I did notice that no naners near the top. Only the smaller lower branches really. Plan was to harvest on the 4th of July but that may get pushed forward if these are ready a little sooner. And if I end up with seedy weed. Than so be it. I’ll use it an be happy while I start my second grow. I’m sure my larger range of temps and humidity levels didn’t help but it’s what I could get done on my budget and time. I’m bummed but not upset by all means. First grow and I’m getting my problems out of the way early. Gotta fuck up to learn. I’ll keep you guys posted and let you know honestly how it turns out. The room is starting to really smell nice. It has that skunky citrus odor building up and my family kinda likes it. I did cut one of the smallest lower branches cause it had a ton of naners. Any comments or concerns are welcome. Have you ever had this issue and what did you do. Did it smoke good was it horrible. Let me know.

Wow this has been an amazing journey. These three plants have given me so much joy it’s gonna be tough to chop in a couple weeks. Plant 1(clone). Looks the same. No better or worse than before. It’s has always had a very bright greenish yellow color and has produced a small amount of bud that looks to be promising. Barely any trimming except for near the end of the run. Plant 2 (Cookies and Cream) This plant stayed small and bushy. And while I did miss a watering day I’m pretty sure this plant is almost ready. I had an issue with Hermie bananers but got that taken care of. Anyone else think I should harvest a week or two early. Plan was for July 4th weekend but I’m thinking two weeks early may be OK. Its getting purple and the top fan leaves are getting crinkly and drying out so I was told those can come off if they are falling off. Plant 3 (Cookies and Cream???) This last strain is either cookies or it’s called grease monkey. I may have mislabeled it when watering near week 3-4. But it’s still good. It got really tall and foxtailed with intensity. Bummed but not upset. All three look good and healthy for the most part.

This past week I began using RO water only. I plan on a few more days of this and then am going to shut lights off for a couple days before cutting them down. They all seem to be growing at different speeds due to height and strain which makes me want to harvest individually but I have 6 seeds that have popped and need to get into the grow tent. Soooooo yeah. Everything has been steady expect for a couple days where I noticed a very small buildup of WPM. (White powdery mildew). But a small mister filled with water and hydrogen peroxide solves that. After staying with a small perfume sized mister I take a cotton swab and pull any mildew hairs off. Solved the problem along with the dehumidifier I added. Was 60-70 and got it down to 30-40. Please. Get yourself a dehumidifier!!!!!! Can’t wait to show the harvest pics.
