4/13/2020-4/19/2020 Tiny Pot (TP) holds bagseed, treated the same way as the other plants so I can experiment on it rather than the big plants. It will be treated the same as the big ones, but it should encounter problems quicker due to smaller pot size. It was germinated a couple days before the others due to impatience in waiting for seeds to arrive. Strains Laughing Buddha (LB) from Barney's Farms, and Northern Lights (NL) from Royal Queen Seeds began germinating on 4/13 by dropping them into distilled water for 24 hours. LB quickly popped and grew the taproot, while the NL took most of the 24 hours to crack. Both were planted into Fox Farms Ocean Forest soil into 3g pots on 4/14. Soil is mixed 3 parts FFOF, 1 part perlite. It took about 2 days for LB to show above the soil, and 3 days for NL. I forgot to add mycorrhizae tablets when planting, so one was shoved a couple inches under soil next to LB and NL. TP did not receive mycorrhizae. I realized I was overwatering pretty much right in the beginning when TP started sagging on day 5. LB and NL showed it later on into week 2.

4/20/2020-4/26/2020 LB and and NL were hindered at the beginning with over watering, which then swung to underwatering towards mid week. It became balanced again towards the middle of the week. LB kept the seed casing stuck to it for quite awhile, had to remove it by hand.

4/27/2020-5/3/2020 Still learning to balance over and under watering. I check the plants once in the morning and night, and put my finger in the soil about an inch. If its dry, I water. If not, I wait. This seems to keep them happy. Transplanted TP into a solo cup with holes in the bottom. That cup is placed in a taller cup to drain water. All three were topped 4/30 at the 5th node. Otherwise, I've just been watering using water pH'ed to between 6 and 6.5. The plants are growing shockingly fast! No added nutes, only what is in the soil to start.

5/4/2020-5/10/2020 Week still in progress, posted 5/7 Plants recovered great from topping and all have grown the split nodes. Will start low stress training next week hopefully. It seems like there is nutrient deficiency (calcium?) in all of the plants, most obvious in LB and a couple leaves of NL. TP is pretty light green in color and generally not growing as quickly as the other two. I will be measuring soil runoff pH at next watering to eliminate nutrient lockout as a possibility. Depending on results of the question below, I will add nutrients to the next watering. I made need to do some defoliating, especially on LB. LB and NL seem to be growing extremely bushy, although LB seems to be showing more sativa genetics in height.

I noticed spots on both LB and NL that seem look like nute deficiency, my best guess is cal. I will check pH of soil runoff at next watering to eliminate lockout as a possibility. I've heard FFOF soil runs out in about 4 weeks, maybe that? Light burn from water drops on leaves?
