The tent is currently still in use by the monster cropped clones that are just finishing their last week(s) of flower. In order to get another run in as soon as possible I decided to pop two beans, settling on White Tahoe Cookies from Dr. Seeds.
For the first 24 hours I soaked them in a cup of dechlorinated water with a pH of 6 and left them in a dark cupboard. When I checked the next day both seeds had cracked open. I emptied the cup of water over a paper towel, spaced the seeds out slightly, then folded the paper towel up and placed it in a small Tupperware container.
24 hours later the seeds both had taproots over an inch long (though both were curled up in odd ways). I planted them each in a solo cup of coco coir presaturated with Roots Excelurator and liquid seaweed. I then place them in a humidity dome alongside a couple clones of another strain.
By the end of the second day both seedlings had straightened themselves out. One had opened up and the first set of tiny true leaves can be seen. The other is still attempting to shed its shell.
The two White Tahoe Cookies seedlings are developing steadily. I removed the cover from the tray because it seemed to be getting too humid and I wanted there to be some air circulation around the seedlings as they were starting to fall over under their own weight. I added another half an inch or so of coco to the solo cups to reinforce the stems.
The true leafs are showing just a bit of yellowing, which I'm interpreting as a sign they are ready for nutrients. I mixed up just 2 litres of nutrient solution using House & Garden's Cocos A & B as well as Roots Excelurator. Hopefully this small amount of nutrient solution will be all it needs until I can transplant them from the solo cups into proper 1 g fabric pots and start doing automatic fertigations.

On Monday I transplanted them into the fabric pots with 100% coco coir. They were originally rooted in a mix of coco peat and chips, but I’ve switched to a much higher quality coco peat only.
Three weeks in the White Tahoe Cookies are progressing as expected. One had some slight yellowing on the edges of a few leaves, I've kept my eye on it but haven't seen as progression. I think this may just be related to how the seedling first emerged from the seed pod.
I've been feeding them a low dose of Cocos and Roots Excelurator and they seem happy enough. Both pots have some algae forming on the surface of the coco, but I'm not too concerned about this. I've noticed that this occurs early on in the grow while using high frequency fertigation, but it will go away once the canopy blocks more light to the surface of the coco. I suppose I could get a HydroLock setup, but I haven't had any issues with just a bit of algae on the coco.
Monday morning I checked on the plants, They now have 4 nodes and appear quite healthy. I topped both of them, just removing the new growth tips.
Wednesday morning I noticed a couple small orangeish/brown spots on one of the fan leaves. I've had a bit of mildew on some non-cannabis seedlings in my grow room and because of this I decided to treat the room and plants with H2O2. I diluted 1 ml of 29% hydrogen peroxide with 4 L of tap water, let sit for half an hour and then applied it to the foliage, the top of the coco and the walls of the tent.
This past week both plants were topped. I allowed a few days for them to recover and then started LST on them. I haven't decided if I will scrog them or not, but likely will. I plan on strategically defoliating a bit heavier this run. Airflow in the lower part of the tent can be difficult given the limited space.
This past week I also applied hydrogen peroxide as a foliar spray because of some concerns I had about rust and to deal with the abundance of algae. It seems to have been successful as everything looks healthy and I don't see any new algae.
I haven't refilled the reservoir yet as there is still enough for the next few days. When it does get refilled I'll up the nutrient levels a bit, bringing the EC up. I'll likely also add some Multi-Zen into the mix.
One of the 2 plants has had a huge growth spurt. It's now several inches taller than the other. The other has very tight nodes and hasn't had as much vertical growth. That said both look healthy and thriving.
Saturday I switched the light schedule to 12/12. I plan on giving them a few days before doing some defoliation and either more LST or install the trellis net.
Sunday I did some light defoliation and rotated the plants.
Saturday I saw pistils on both plant for the first time.
I did some pruning, removing much of the lower sucker growth and some fan leaves that were getting twisted up.
One of the plants is practically touching the light, whereas the other is a good foot below it. This one phenotype obviously stretches a lot more. The smaller plant has tighter node spacing and though I was worried it may have been a runt, it seems to be the more manageable pheno for this setup.
They both look healthy and the tent is pest free.
I stripped a lot more lower growth today. I took off the oldest fan leaves, and lots of low suckers.
The smell is prominent, especially when handling they emit a sweet gassy smell.
Thursday night when the lights turned on I noticed that two colas were touching the LEDs and had just started to burn. I ended up super cropping both to get them away from the light.
This week I lower the taller of the two plants by taking it off the bucket I use to collect runoff and moving it to a smaller stack of drip pans. I'll have to empty them more frequently, but at least like this both plants are roughly the same height.
Besides the toasting two of the colas got from touching the lights, both plants are looking very healthy.
For all my grows I have been running unfiltered tap water, I've used a cal mag product as a supplement to the House & Garden Cocos. After looking at the municipal water report and seeing that my local water is both high in calcium and magnesium I decided to go without supplementing cal mag this time. In the past I think I may have actually had issues with toxicities or lockout, and now I wonder if it's because of the tap water + cal mag combo.
Both plants continue to look healthy and happy. The bud formation so far is impressive. The plant that stretched a lot is even starting to stack.
The smell is pungent and fresh. This strain is supposed to be great for extracts, that’s not my intention, but there is already an abundance of trichomes.
Each plant is showing its own unique characteristics. The tall one on the right stretched more than twice as much as the shorter plant. Even with the extra stretch and internodal spacing, its buds have stacked up more than the other. The taller one's pistils are still mostly white, whereas the shorter's are much oranger. Both are very sticky and fragrant.
I tried turning the plant on the right side, but apparently that was a bad idea. Now both plants have several colas that are slumping over. I should have probably trellised these two.
Other than that they are progressing very well. The colas are stacking and getting thick.
The humidity has been pretty high for flower, but without a dehumidifier I can do much more and the plants don’t seem to mind.
All the large colas are causing the branches to droop against the sides of the tent. Like I said last week, I should have used a trellis net this time around.
Buds are looking gorgeous though. There is some crazy fox tailing on the colas that are sitting horizontally.
