@GardenOfHerbs, great! You should also do a slurry test, if done right it is more accurate.
Slurry test:
When soil is completely dry, take 2 shot-glasses worth of soil from about 2 inches down from the top, from the edge of the pot. Put in a CLEAN glass. Add 2 shot-glasses worth of either DISTILLED or pH'd to 7.0 low ppm water. Mix, and let sit for exactly 10 minutes. Dip in your pH and ppm meters to get your soil pH and ppm.
@GardenOfHerbs, are you checking the pH of your actual soil? Like a slurry test? Runoff? Or only input?
It may be good for you to feed at different ph's to get a larger "spectrum" of pH. Always remember...pH swings
