I was concerned with my next feeding and the fear of loosing more fan leaves. So, I did some reading and came across this thread https://www.thcfarmer.com/community/resources/should-fan-leaves-be-trimmed.276/
It answered my concerns over the yellowing leaves and plant life, which cycle made sense.
This week, she is cut off from the nitrogen from Grow Big. 3 or 4 more weeks to go
@Jack_Greenstalk,thanks for the description. New ideas to think about. My first grow was two autos. It came out rather well, quick high and clean smoke. She was very forgiving.
I am still getting the timing of when I should flip.
Always learning and adjusting :) I'll dial it in eventually.
flip light schedule from 18/6 to 12/12 (photo meaning photo period vs auto flowering, autos need no flip, will flower at 18 hrs a day of light). to answer winner winner chicken dinner, you can technically grow photos under a 12/12 light cycle from seed to enduce earlier flowering. this is used sometimes to pheno hunt (maybe 100 seeds in solo cups to find best pheno) and when growing under 12/12 photo period plants as you may imagine produce much less bud, but much quicker. they grow more like an auto or ruderalis cannabis plant, shorter for sure. the advantage of running a photo period seed over an auto in my opinion if you are going the photo period route (18/6 ligh schedule in veg, 12/12 in flower) you can grow a monster in veg, so when you flip to flower its got a full canopy filled in and trained if you grow photo period properly, vs a more set it and forget it style you can take with autoflowers, growing straight up, minimal training, you could do a screen of green and harvest 300 grams dry in full grow cycle from 1 plant under 315w LEC , or some people prefer to do like 4 autos in the same space, sea of green style, still use trellis netting, but over many plants instead of one huge thing, and each of the 4 autos pull 75-80 grams dry so both end up about 300 grams in same space, autos get it maybe a month sooner. sorry for ramblin, just tossin my 2 cents in, and hopefully spreadin some knowledge to help ppl make easier decisions on what they want.
Looking nice, good job on the training! Had a few 2 years back outdoors... got 6 plants from 5 seeds - one was a twin :D excellent and stable genetics, all the plants looks just a like, and when grown right it's really great medicine ;)
Looking forward to seeing this one! <3
@bobo420, yeah, the weight is quite noticeable on the outer buds and they are slowly leaning outwards. I could try and trellis what I can, but at this point, I am going to let nature do her thing.
@Monkiy, sure, didn't see it as technique listed so thought it may be to support the branches or something when they eventually grow into it ;)
She's starting to fill up, I bet she smells nice even now :)
