This may be interesting. I have not seen this before, although I have heard mention of it during my research about growing cannabis. I have 2 plants the same strain and same age so I'll document the differences in growth. When the 3 leaf girl popped her head out of the dirt the seed shell was still attached. I helped her shed the shell and I noticed that one of the cotyledons was split in half by the membrane that normally separates the cotyledons. As it developed overnight she differentiated into 3 leaves.
I have noticed that the 3 leaf plant loses a couple hours of growth to the 2 leaf plant each day due to the fact she has to grow 3 of everything instead of two.

End week 2, day 14 and everything is developing normally. The 2 leaf gains a little ground on Lucky every day or so it seems. We'll see in a couple more weeks after they stretch, what the real difference will be.

End week 3 day 21 and they stretched a little more than I was wanting. They are keeping pace with each other at 10 inches. I lowered the lights and the internodes started shortening. I defoliated the branches coming off the first set of leaves, like I usually do, and the other branches shot up within a couple days. The 2 leaf is progressing symmetrically and looks normal. The lucky 3 leaf is starting to stagger her branches from 3/node to 1/node then 2/node then 1/node.... 2/node... etc...branches are starting to do the same. She is going to have a lot of branches.

End week 4, day 28 and both plants have been keeping pace with each other. Lucky has straightened herself out and outgrown her tricycle, ditched the third wheel and became a bicycle. It's kind of amazing how she went from asymmetrical to symmetrical branching in a very short time (by the 4th node). I thinned the jungle out and the gorillas have plenty of sunlight now. First few weeks was a struggle growing in the shadows of their older siblings. On to week 5. Happy gardening y'all and stay home. Peace and health

End week 5, day 35 and they are growing just the same. It's almost hard to tell the difference between the two. Flowering has started and the stretch is almost complete and they are looking beautiful, nice structure and height. I gave them a beneficial nematode treatment this week and their usual round of Recharge (1/2 tsp/gal) and daily supplement of CalMag and K.

End week 6, day 42 and I thought that last week they were getting close to finishing their stretch. Wrong. They went and put on another 10 inches. Now, I think they are done, maybe another inch as the cola fills out. The buds are stacking up and these two are going to be some monsters. I already know I'm gonna have to start supporting the branches because these buds will put on a ton of weight. I'm feeding as much as a gallon a day with a dry day thrown in every couple days.

End week 7, day 49 and flowering continues vigorously. The buds are all stacked up and plumping up. It will be another 2 to 3 weeks before they finish. The real difference between the two will come down to yield since both are almost identical in size, although my money is on Lucky.

Late posting this because of storms, internet outages, harvesting and life. I will get caught up here soon. For now we are at the end of week 8, day 57 and everything is going smooth. The buds are filling in nicely and putting on the weight. Branches continue to sag and I keep propping them up.
Thanks for turning on and tuning in. I get another week posted here in a day or so. All comments and questions are welcome

End of week 8, day 56 and another week of packing on the weight and frost. Normal has the fattest buds but normal has more bud sites, so, it will be interesting to see which one yields more.
Stay tuned. They are starting to turn in color and will probably be done in another week.

End week 10, day 70 and I pulled Lucky and Normal from the garden and placed them in a dark room for 48 hours before I remove all the fan leaves, chop 'em down and hang 'em up to dry. Stay tuned for harvest report in a couple weeks.

Gorilla Glue #4 Automatic by Expert Seeds is some amazing cannabis. Very easy to grow. I ended up with some long triangular or pyramid shaped buds full of trichomes and sticky goodness. Give it a good long dry (when you think it's done, give it another day) and cure and you will be rewarded with some sweet smelling and tasting medicine. I can smoke it during the day and stay motivated until it's time to call it a day and it will puts you to bed.
Week 11, day 72 and the girls had been in darkness for 2 days. I removed the fan leaves and cut them down and hung them upside down for 9 days to dry. Relative humidity is holding at 62% in the jars as they cure. I'll let 'em go for a few weeks before I sample the smoke. They look like all the other GG#4 Autos I have grown so I'm expecting the same quality. I'll update with a smoke report after a good long cure.
As far as Lucky vs Normal the results were very similar. I predicted Lucky would have the bigger yield and I was correct. She came in at 184.9 grams followed by 173.1 grams for a grand total of 358 grams. Lucky's buds were smaller but denser and Normals buds were a bit airy.
It was interesting to see how Lucky reverted right back to a normal 2 x 2 grow pattern after starting 3 x 3.

@Smokehonja, I have been somewhat lazy on reporting this week. I wore myself out amending the vegetable garden soil by hand after the tiller crapped out on me. Thanks for the interest and I will get it done tonight. Peace and health
@Smokehonja, welcome aboard man. I have another week to post soon, I'll have to wait a day or 2 I think. She is on day 17 as of this post and both are looking great and growing fast. Peace and health
