Hi guys! First grow of my life, I live in Italy, as spring started I plant my first seed “Quick one” from Royal Queen Seeds. Also I mixed the soil with “ easy boost organic fertiliser from RQS “. I’m now week 2, but it seems growing really slow. She’s getting around 12 hours of natural sunlight a day inside a small green house, and during the night I keep her inside my house as the temperature outside gets still pretty cold . Any tips ? Thanks. Aloha.

hey there, looks like the soil is a touch too hot aka too many nutrients in it so the plant is locking out nitrogen . Just dont overwater anymore like water a lot less as much possible because the watering will make the N available to the plant. I hope this helps ! 🚀

Looks growing ok, not so fast tho but maybe is normal. We had 3 rainy days here in Italy this week so maybe she suffered a little bit. Wondering why the right leaf got some yelllow on it. Any suggestions?

No problems so far, she’s growing pretty well. Spring here in Italy brings everyday lots of sunlights and warm temperatures. Just loving it. Seems like last days of vegetation phases.

Yes matey nice start BUT.... autoflowers do not need 12/12 leave her outside for the full cycle of light. They do not need 12 hours to flower at all like a normal photoperiod plant. Auto will flower itself when it is ready. It will be about week 4/5 usually that they begin to flower naturally. Tou also need to plant it into the ground straight away. if you try to up pot you will damage a lot of their fine root hairs and damage the yields. Autos do not like to be reported at all. As soon as they sprout and gain a good tap root , put them straight in their Final pot or growing space. The greenhouse will limit the amount of good light your giving her too and if the temps are good then leave her to the elements. If it gets damp in the greenhouse then you can easily attract mould on forming buds and flowers too. Autos are a dream to grow as need very little input from us. indoors is a different matter but with outside and a supportive seasonal sun , you just set and forget for 10 weeks. good luck . nice start. she will grow better once settled in her final space

@lucasurfer420,no worries mate. good start and you will get bud on natural lighting cycle as they flower with genetics and not light cycle dependant. Outdoor is what we would all love to do tbh. lol there are some great inexpensive led lights now that do an great job. happy to help with any discussion on them when your ready.

@Ganjagrandaddy, thanks buddy for your helpful tips !! Unfortunately I don’t have any artificial lights yet to grow indoor, so hopefully she will still give me some joy just growing naturally with sunshine!! Let’s see. Still worth a try. I will uptade my diary weekly with I hope some good news :) thanks mate enjoy

@lucasurfer420,Inhear you mate. The autos benefit from 18 hours a day light as they are genetically designed to do it and still use the auxins from their ruderalis genetics to keep growing into their flowering periods. In normal photoperiods the switch will usually alter the plants needs to fully forming buds mainly. Autos do both and still want to grow like a vegging plant after the normal stretch periods have subsided usually. With pots for autos. go with at least 30L . if your in coco and feeding 2 x daily then they could do ok in 20L but these ladies grow roots as fast as leaves so need somewhere to go. What happens below is mirrored above the soil in plant size. It is easy to become outbound with their rapid growth and another reason to avoid multi postings. Should be good if you can keep giving them 18 hours light throughout the grow. They will suffer badly in yield on 12/12. subbed in to ride along with you. will be a good experience for you to see how these amazing creations grow.

@TheItalianJoker, Ciao !! Si dai speriamo allora tutti e due. Anche secondo me é ancora abbastanza presto x iniziare outdoor, però penso crescerà lo stesso con rese minori ;) good luck !!!

If it's an auto probably best to give it as much light as possible. You don't need to worry about switching to 12/12. It's also good practice to plant it on its final pot. So you can avoid any damage while repotting. Other than that you'll just need to keep.an eye on her.

@DigiDom, thanks mate. Yes I just transfer her into a bigger pot. She’s getting all the 12 hours of direct sunlights in the day! Hopefully i can enjoy her flowers at the beginning of summer :) take care !
